EPISODE 29 - Clark, Hyung, and John discuss off the top what they would do with F1 sports cards (in particular with Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen cards) now that the finale results are in. Plus they talk about whether it's too late to buy high-end sports cards of Stephen Curry now that he's the all-time 3-point leader. And in this week's "Hobby Headlines" segment, the guys give their take on whether it's worth the long-term investment in specific cards that are valued higher right now for very specific reasons such as "color match" cards where the color of the player's uniform matches the color of the parallel card (ie. Jayson Tatum Green Prizm rookie card). Or is it worth a premium for serial numbered cards that happen to be the jersey number of the player. Or are multi-color patch cards worth significantly more than patch cards with just one or two colors visible. Plus with Christmas around the corner, they play "Christmas Wish List" where Clark, Hyung, and John share which card they would love to have for their PC and that they would never sell. To cap off the show, they play "Pick One – Regular Edition" with each offering two sports cards, and then debating which one they'd rather invest in. The Pick One pairs in this episode are: Fernando Tatis Topps Chrome base auto (PSA 10) vs. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Topps Chrome refractor auto (BGS 9.5/10); Stephen Curry Topps Chrome rookie card (PSA 10) vs. 1 Bitcoin; Luka Doncic Panini Silver Prizm (PSA 10) for $3,500 vs. Trae Young Panini Silver Prizm (PSA 10) for $1,200. On tonight's show, Luigi may have completely and utterly sucked in his own league that he put together for the show..... but he was able to advance to the finals in his long standing league so it's celebration time! almost.. He will also announce the contestants in the Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is League as well and this one has some municipal bad blood between it! Luigi was fresh off yet another sound victory from last weeks match up with The Listeners in the Battle Of Famous Jewish People in The Fantasy Showdown and took aim to make it FOUR! in a row this week. PC Christmas is upon us so in keeping with that, tonight's match up is titled "I'm dreaming Of A White Christmas" using only white NFL players. However, you could not draft any person in the Hall Of Fame nor! any current NFL Player. This was harder than it sounded and yes, "that's what she said". Luigi went on a little bit of a holiday rant that you don't want miss either. As always he will break down the week that was in the NFL, going over his MVP's and SOB's of the week and his weekly avoid and deploy list. Along with the daily fantasy plays and the Stone Cold PVC Pipe Locks! #FunkNFantasy #NBA #NHL #NFLDraft #MLB #NFL #Comedy #Entertainment #TurnUp #Podcast #FantasyFootballSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/tony-bruno-show/donations
