Today, I am joined by long time friend and former high school teacher, Jeff "Pete" Peters. He has been a cornerstone of the Antelope Union High School community, in Wellton, Az, for over 30 years. Pete's wife, Jane, was my kindergarten teacher and he molded my eager mind throughout high school. Pete has been co-head of the Arizona State Student Council for many years, on top of his teaching duties. He also heads or has headed up Key Club, Ski Club, coached tennis, (and a numerous other projects. Too many to name) and just been a tremendous advocate for the youth of East Yuma County. Please reach out to support your local high schools with funding. Educators, like Pete, are in dire need of your encouragement to help our youth succeed in life. fb: @ThisJuanTime ig: @JuanTimePodcast tw: @JuanTimePodcast www.ThisJuanTime.com --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/thisjuantime/support
The night started out so well... An outline of topics. A well-composed intro about a specific subject. A light and breezy conversation to start the night. Then it went off the rails in all the best ways. Dave's failures as a father (and a mulcher). Brad's failures in explaining Wrestlemania. Mike not knowing when to say when. Craig's ability to depress us with his memories. Doesn't matter -- the most organized part of the night was when the guys eloquently chat about shatty drawers. And if you're wondering what the title of this episode means, you're already in the right headspace. Hunker down.

This episode of Blackballed is brought to you by The Shotcast Podcast! https://soundcloud.com/user-141353570 http://feeds.soundcloud.com/users/soundcloud:users:525118641/sounds.rss On this episode of Blackballed Podcast, Pierce discusses his incident at the bars on New Years' Day, where he got his nose broken. Bandersnatch, the new film by Black Mirror (available on Netflix) drives Pierce to the brink of insanity with thoughts of God and predestination. Finally, Bear comes to save the day as the two go over MAGAritaville, a Republican/Libertarian utopian island that Pierce will build for the moderate libertarian to the far right. Is Pierce into drag queens? Maybe when there is Tito's and Soda involved. Bear and Pierce discuss plans to bandwagon for the far-right AND Antifa and make money off of selling merchandise. The song featured on today's episode was brought to you by Pete Peters.
