Na brutální počátky svátku práce dnes už zapomínáme. Aktivní tehdy byli i čeští socialisté a dělníci. Jejich síla překvapila i Bedřicha Engelse. Co pro nás tento svátek znamená dnes? Jaké jsou dějiny svátku práce a má smysl ho ještě dnes slavit? To bylo hlavní téma živého nahrávání podcastu Studio Alarm+ v brněnském Klubu zastupitelů. Přesně 1. května se tady totiž odehrávala akce Státky kolektivu Terén, která se snaží aktualizovat obsah některých našich svátků. Nahrávání našeho podcastu doplnilo workshop a výrobu fanzinu studentského kolektivu Fasáda. Se Studiem Alarm+ jsme se ovšem zaměřili na historii svátku práce. Pokusili jsme se zpřítomnit, proč tento svátek vůbec slavíme a jaké jsou jeho dějiny. Dostali jsme se i k otázce, proč je dobré tento svátek slavit i dnes. Hostkou tohoto dílu byla odborová organizátorka a redaktorka feministického média Druhá směna Maja Vusilović. Hostem byl také historik Boleslav Šmejkal, který se zaměřuje na dějiny dělnického hnutí. Sie spielen vor ausverkauften Häusern in der ganzen Welt, doch der Kommunistischen Partei Chinas gefällt das nicht. Tausende Fake Accounts wurden auf X gelöscht, weil sie massiv einen verleumderischen Artikel der „New York Times“ gegen ebendiese Künstler verbreitet haben. Auch deutsche Medien bis hinein in den öffentlich-rechtlichen Rundfunk übernahmen zuletzt ungeprüft und unhinterfragt das verleumderische Narrativ der „New York Times“, darunter die Satire-Sendung „ZDF Magazin Royale“ von Jan Böhmermann.
