Let's unplug from social media! I can't be the only one thinking and feeling off when I consume too much social media. We talk all the time about our desire to grow closer to Christ but are we actually creating time for Him? I know scrolling social media has become a habit for me and unfortunately an idol. So my solution has been fasting. I'm not asking for anything radical, but I am challenging you to take it one day at a time and stay off social for 1 whole day and see how you feel. Mentally, spiritually and in relation with Jesus. Keep at it and there could be a habit that could flow into more than just 1 day. Here is the live audio recording from my recent Social Sundays livestream. I hope you enjoy!
Social Sundays 015 with a two hour dub set from our good friend @wrkoflbc , dj and founding member of the oldest group of promoters and DJs from Targu Mures (Romania), LBC Kru. Alongside them he was responsible for organizing the first electronic music parties in his hometown, and later, in the early 2000s the event series 'Fundamental Breaks' that brought to the city the most renowned drum and bass and breakbeat DJs from all over the country of the time. He started DJing in 2003, and after getting a residency in the local club Avi-Cola, played warm-up and after sets with Rapala for a series of exclusive nights promoting all varieties of broken beats. Ever since, he's been an active member of the movement, playing mostly bass heavy music, from deeper dubstep to the more forward thinking electronic beats and occasionally old school 2step/garage.
