For episode 105, let's consider that in this era of Thomas J. Henry spending untold zillions to convince the state of Texas he's not the T-800 in a six thousand dollar suit, we can instead recall a simpler time, when criminal attorney Betty Blackwell referenced her own late night television advertisement in a subsequent advertisement that swapped out the perp's photo for something that looked vaguely dustier (we're left to guess what Brian's problem was but we can safely assume it was something in the DUI / controlled substances department - or maybe not. Betty did not specifically say she was unwilling to represent clients accused of bombing government facilities.  In retrospect, maybe this wasn't such a simple time after all.

A massive new lawsuit seeking $2 billion in damages from Travis Scott, Drake, Live Nation, Apple and others has been filed on behalf of 282 plaintiffs linked to the deadly Astroworld tragedy that claimed the lives of 10 people in Houston. The new complaint from lawyer Thomas J. Henry is the latest iteration of a fast-evolving case that has been growing exponentially since it was first filed on behalf of a single concertgoer, Kristian Paredes, on Nov. 8. “The defendants stood to make an exorbitant amount of money off of this event, and they still chose to cut corners, cut costs, and put attendees at risk,” Henry said in a statement Thursday. “My clients want to ensure the defendants are held responsible for their actions, and they want to send the message to all performers, event organizers, and promoters that what happened at Astroworld cannot happen again.” Dozens of other Astroworld lawsuits have been filed in Harris County District Court in Houston, including one by the father of Ezra Blount, the 9-year-old boy who was trampled at the concert and lingered in a coma for days before he died Sunday at a children's hospital. Buzbee told Rolling Stone he expects the various suits will be consolidated in a single courtroom in Houston under a judge appointed by the Supreme Court of Texas, likely in the next 60 days. Mass Effect Go Hosted by Analytic Dreamz also known as… well me is the “on the go” version of Notorious Mass Effect meaning everything that I feel like needs to be talked about while I'm out on the go and in between episodes will be talked about on this version of the podcast. Rappers Travis Scott and Drake have been sued for having incited mayhem after eight people were killed and dozens injured in a crash during a Texas concert. Texas firm Thomas J. Henry Law tweeted a story published by the Daily Mail on the suit, confirming it had filed one of the first lawsuits in Travis Scott Astroworld Festival tragedy. Around 50,000 people were in the audience at Houston's NRG Park when the crowd started pushing toward the stage as Scott was performing, triggering chaotic scenes. The suit, filed in Houston's Harris County court, claims Scott had incited mayhem and chaos at prior events and that defendants knew or should have known of Scott's prior conduct.
