You're listening to American Ground Radio with Louis R. Avallone and Stephen Parr. This is the full show for February 4, 2026. 0:30 We break down a deeply troubling decision by the U.S. Supreme Court to let California’s new congressional map move forward for the 2026 midterms without so much as a single dissent. We walk through why the Court is signaling that political gerrymandering is fair game as long as it isn’t explicitly racial, and how Democrats in California used Proposition 50 to wipe out the last illusion of independent redistricting. How do you guarantee a republican form of government when one party can rewrite the map mid-decade to lock in power? We compare California to Texas, revisit past Supreme Court signals, and confront the reality that this may be the rules of the game—even if those rules are poisoning public trust in our elections. 9:30 Plus, we cover the Top 3 Things You Need to Know. The Supreme Court ruled today that the state of California can use its new congressional maps in this year's upcoming elections. That could allow Democrats to pick up 5 extra seats in the house due to massive gerrymandering in the redrawn boundaries. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons is recommending postponing any gender related surgeries until after patients reach the age of 19. The Man who tried to kill President Trump at his golf course in Florida has been sentenced to life in Prison. 12:30 Get Prodovite Plus from Victory Nutrition International for 20% off. Go to vni.life/agr and use the promo code AGR20. 13:00 We break down Massachusetts’ so-called “Freedom to Move Act” and why, despite the branding, it’s really about reducing how much you’re allowed to drive and quietly limiting freedom of movement. Setting targets for vehicle miles traveled opens the door to fewer roads, less parking, slower speeds, and a growing push to force people onto public transportation whether it works for their lives or not. This isn’t about environmental policy—it’s about government deciding where and how you’re allowed to go. Real freedom doesn’t come from the state managing your movement; it comes from the government protecting your right to move without interference. 16:00 We ask American Mamas Teri Netterville and Kimberly Burleson how they survived the historic ice storm that shut down much of the South, and what they saw when things got hard. From families stranded for hours on icy interstates, communities without power for days, and everyday people stepping up long before government help arrived. We talk about neighbors using ATVs to deliver food, water, diapers, and gas, strangers helping strangers, and why disasters have a way of revealing both resilience and character. When systems fail and the weather turns brutal, real strength still comes from faith, family, and community—and that given the chance, Americans will show up for one another. If you'd like to ask our American Mamas a question, go to our website, AmericanGroundRadio.com/mamas and click on the Ask the Mamas button. 23:00 We talk about the post-Dobbs reality, where abortion rates are actually rising in blue states, and why claiming “victory” is either naïve or dishonest. We walk through why leaders like Pope Leo and Mother Teresa were right to call abortion the greatest threat to peace, and why a society that treats unborn life as disposable can never truly be just or peaceful. We also connect the dots between abortion, euthanasia, and assisted suicide, including chilling policies in places like Canada and parts of the U.S. The message is simple and uncomfortable: when a culture abandons the value of innocent human life, everything else begins to unravel. 26:00 We Dig Deep into why the SAVE Act — the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act — should be a no-brainer for anyone who actually cares about election integrity. We walk through what the bill really does: requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote and ending online voter registration that’s ripe for fraud in an age of bots and AI. We look at the polling that demolishes the left’s favorite talking point, showing overwhelming support for voter ID across party lines and across racial groups. And we ask the uncomfortable but obvious question: if Democrats insist our elections are secure and only citizens are voting, why are they so desperate to kill the SAVE Act? The answer, frankly, doesn’t reflect well on them — and it raises serious red flags about who they want voting and why. 32:00 Get Performlyte from Victory Nutrition International for 20% off. Go to vni.life/agr and use the promo code AGR20. 32:30 We take on the NFL’s bizarre announcement that ICE will not operate in or around the Super Bowl and ask the obvious question: since when does the NFL get to tell federal law enforcement where it’s allowed to do its job? We cut through the celebrity optics, activist pressure, and performative virtue signaling to talk about who actually attends the most expensive sporting event on the planet and whether the Super Bowl even makes sense as an immigration enforcement target. The conversation exposes the absurdity of carving out de facto “immigration-free zones” for optics while pretending it’s about safety or compassion. At the end of the day, this isn’t about football — it’s about who really runs the country and whether federal law still applies when celebrities, corporations, and political narratives get uncomfortable. 35:30 We talk about a real bright spot coming out of Republican-led states: serious efforts to cut — and in some cases eliminate — property taxes on homeowners. We break down why no American should ever risk losing their home simply because they can’t keep paying rent to the government, especially after they’ve already bought and paid for it. We connect the dots between rising property taxes, declining homeownership, and the destruction of generational wealth, particularly for young families and seniors on fixed incomes. We contrast red states looking for ways to lower the tax burden with blue states doubling down on higher taxes, and explain why targeted reforms — protecting primary residences while still taxing second homes, luxury properties, and corporations — are about economic freedom, not government handouts. 39:30 We react to the horrifying report that Savannah Guthrie’s elderly mother may have been abducted from her home, with blood found on the porch and her purse, phone, and life-sustaining medications left behind. We talk through the disturbing details, the possibility of a ransom demand involving Bitcoin, and the very real concern for her health and safety. We also reflect on President Trump’s response after being asked about the case — setting politics aside and calling it “absolutely horrifying,” while offering to personally reach out and help. This is one of those moments that cuts past media narratives and partisan lines, reminding us just how fragile life is and why this story stops you cold. 41:00 And finish off with an unbelievable and deeply moving story of survival when a family kayaking trip turned into a life-or-death fight against the ocean. Articles Supreme Court allows California to use congressional map benefitting Democrats Plastic surgeons recommend delaying gender surgery until 19 Man who tried to assassinate Trump at his Florida golf course is sentenced to life in federal prison States Weigh Ending Property Taxes for Homeowners Washington State Dems Introduce Millionaire's Tax, GOP Warns of Risks New Poll Crushes Dem, Media Narrative: Americans Demand Mass Deportations, Back ICE Overwhelmingly The SAVE Act Is Popular, and Democrats Are Terrified of It Trump: "Who Would Not Want Voter ID? There's a corner of America where people vanish at a startling rate, where massive searches can turn up nothing, no trail, no remains, no answers. That place is Alaska. In this episode of Backwoods Bigfoot Stories, we head into the shadowed heart of the Alaska Triangle, the vast wilderness between Anchorage, Juneau, and Utqiagvik, to explore why so many disappear and why indigenous stories have warned about forest-dwelling abductors for generations. In the summer of twenty twenty-two, sixty-nine-year-old Mary Dawn Wilson drove her Ford Focus nearly seven miles down the Stampede Trail near Healy, Alaska, a rugged route tied to the Into the Wild legend and notorious for swallowing travelers. With a two-year-old child in the back seat, Wilson pushed her vehicle far beyond where it reasonably could go.When the car became stuck in mud, she made a decision no one can explain. She locked the toddler inside the vehicle and walked deeper into the wilderness, away from the highway and toward the interior.Search teams deployed helicopters, thermal imaging, drones, ATVs, and trained dogs. They located Wilson's personal belongings about a mile beyond the stuck car, proof she kept going. After that, the trail went cold. No footprints. No sign. Nothing. After three days, the active search was suspended. Mary Dawn Wilson has never been found. We zoom out to examine the bigger pattern, thousands of disappearances across Alaska over the decades, many ending in complete erasure. We revisit chilling cases tied to the Alaska Triangle, including the nineteen seventy-two disappearance of House Majority Leader Hale Boggs and Alaska Congressman Nick Begich, whose plane was never recovered despite one of the largest search operations in American history. We examine the case of Gary Frank Sotherden, whose skull was found years later with bear tooth marks but little else, no clothing, no gear, no explanation for how he ended up so far from where he was supposed to be.We consider Thomas Anthony Nuzzi, the traveling nurse last seen with an unidentified woman who has never been located, both of them vanishing into the Alaskan night without a trace. And we look at Michael LeMaitre, a marathon runner who vanished during a major, heavily monitored event on a mountainside crowded with other competitors and spectators, disappearing in broad daylight despite sophisticated search technology that should have been able to locate any warm body on that mountain. Alaska Native traditions carry their own explanations for these disappearances, stories of entities that mimic, lure, and take. The Tlingit speak of the Kushtaka, the land otter man, a shapeshifter said to imitate voices and faces to draw victims away from safety. The Yup'ik tell of the Hairy Man they call Miluquyuliq, a powerful forest presence that watches travelers from the treeline with an intensity that goes beyond mere animal curiosity. And the descendants of Portlock speak of the Nantinaq, a predatory figure so feared that locals ultimately abandoned their entire town rather than remain in its territory. By nineteen fifty, every resident had fled, leaving behind homes and livelihoods, choosing displacement over whatever stalked them from the surrounding forest. We also touch on modern reports, including sightings documented by the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization across Alaska, encounters with massive bipedal creatures covered in dark fur that emit strange vocalizations and watch humans with unsettling intelligence. These accounts span decades and come from experienced outdoorsmen, truckers, hunters, and others who know the difference between known wildlife and something else entirely. At the center of this episode lies an unsettling question that may never be answered. What made Mary Dawn Wilson walk the wrong way, into the deep, after leaving a child behind? She was no naive tourist. She knew the Alaskan wilderness, had lived in remote areas, understood the dangers. Yet something compelled her to drive down that haunted trail, to keep going when any sensible person would turn back, and finally to walk away from her stuck vehicle in the opposite direction of safety. Did she experience a medical crisis that impaired her judgment? Did the wilderness itself disorient her?Or did she see something, hear something, follow something that called to her from the trees? The Tlingit have always warned their children about the Kushtaka's ability to mimic familiar voices, to appear as loved ones, to promise help while leading victims to their doom. The people of Portlock knew something was hunting them long before they abandoned their homes. And Mary Dawn Wilson, walking deeper into the Alaskan interior on that July afternoon, may have encountered whatever it is that has been taking people from this land for longer than anyone can remember.Mary Dawn Wilson was four feet ten inches tall, weighed one hundred sixty pounds, and had gray hair and blue eyes with a small scar on her left ear. She was wearing a floral dress and a cream-colored kuspuk with green flowers when she disappeared. Her case remains open. Tips can be submitted to the Alaska State Troopers at nine oh seven, four five one, five one oh oh, or anonymously through the AK Tips smartphone app. If you know anything about what happened on the Stampede Trail in July of twenty twenty-two, please reach out. Somewhere in that vast and silent wilderness, the answers are waiting to be found.Thank you for joining us on Backwoods Bigfoot Stories. The forest is always watching. And sometimes, it takes.

REVENGE is the feature directorial debut of Coralie Fargeat, Oscar-nominated for directing last year's total fucking banger THE SUBSTANCE.THE SUBSTANCE had a budget of $17 million. REVENGE had $3 million. And in comparing both movies, it gives me great joy to see that Fargeat's penchant for the surreal and gnarly diminishes not with a lowered budget. Her ideas remain just as ferocious and maximalist, like a sledgehammer to the face.REVENGE refers to the second part of the "rape-revenge" couplet as a woman named Jen (Matilda Lutz) exacts hers against three married men: one who raped her and the two friends who did nothing to stop nor punish it.These men (one of whom is her now ex-boyfriend) are armed with rifles, riding on ATVs and Range Rovers. Jen has on a T-shirt and shorts. She had heels at one point but sacrificed them to the desert. So, yeah. The odds aren't great. But spite is a hell of a drug. Some would say it's even better than peyote. Fire and brimstone ensues in a whirlwind of viscera and chipped nail polish.REVENGE is now available to stream on Tubi.---Please rate, review and follow THE MOVIES wherever you listen to podcasts!Follow THE MOVIES on Instagram, Bluesky and Letterboxd

Some marginal catching up going on here; more episodes in the queue... What's in it? Car fads like the BMW 3-Series, Audi 5000 and SAAB 900s versus electric cars, and how the electric car fad is coming to grief over its feasibility issues (couldn't help ourselves); a microcosm of plug-in car failures in the Volkswagen Buzz (and why no one's buying the hype because it doesn't match the myth - or reality - of the original VW Bus). There's curvy road fun (and failure) with Colorado's fabulous, famous and frightening 550 - a nice job by Zebulon Pike - and why you shouldn't try to mess with your phone when a right turn starts with a 300ft curb. We also take a somber moment to discuss being safe with your ATV because it's easy to get yourself killed on a quad or snowmobile, even when you've got the money of a Lending Tree CEO or the skillset of a Ken Block. Risk takes brains and skill, and even that ain't always enough (...'Tis better to hit the deer than miss the road). There's more about Big Boy 4014's plans for a coast-to-coast run in 2026, sunken treasure from Florida's Treasure Coast, Blackbeard, Tommy Thompson and the S.S. Central America, the French pick a winner with the Guardian of Liberty, a new door kills an old finger, plus Amon Tobin rolls tracks throughout; with details on albums and soundtracks (just "Like Regular Chickens").

What has been described as the biggest legal claim ever brought in the UK over environmental pollution has been filed at the High Court. Almost 4000 people have signed up to a class action lawsuit against major poultry producers and a water company over allegations of "extensive and widespread pollution" in the rivers Wye, Lugg and Usk. They argue that the state of the rivers in recent years has severely affected local businesses, property values and people's enjoyment of the area - and are seeking "substantial damages". The companies being sued - Avara Foods Limited, Freemans of Newent Limited and Welsh Water - all deny the claims. When King Charles was crowned, a pledge was made to create 25 new or larger National Nature reserves within 5 years. The "King's series" reserves are meant to move beyond simple conservation - to be bigger, more connected and with nature recovery their primary purpose. The 12th such reserve has just opened and is a significant extension of a reserve in the Yorkshire Dales that contains one third of Britain's flowers and ferns in one biological hotspot. And all this week we're looking at rural crime. In Scotland, insurers NFU Mututal is reporting a sudden spike in thefts of quad bikes and all terrain vehicles, or ATVs. Data released by them in September this year shows the value of quad bike thefts in Scotland has risen 90%, compared with 2024. Losses are estimated at nearly 200 thousand pounds up to September, compared to £102,000 for whole of last year.Presented by Anna Hill and produced by Sally Challoner.

On the night of July 6th, 2019, in western Nebraska, a young father seemingly vanished into thin air. He was Chance Englebert, a 25 year old welder, cowboy and newlywed - gone without a trace. Earlier that day, Chance had been visiting his in-laws when a casual round of golf turned tense due to some remarks about his new job that angered him. Upset, he told his wife he wanted to go back home to Wyoming. When she didn't agree to leave town - he got out of the car and walked away. Alone. On foot. With a storm brewing overhead. Surveillance cameras later captured him walking through town, looking down at his phone, like someone reading a map. He sent a final text that didn't sound like it came from him. And just like that, no one ever heard from him again. His disappearance ignited one of the most baffling manhunts in the region. Drones, cadaver dogs, hundreds of volunteers on the ground, on horseback, and ATVs, across 2,400 acres. Yet despite all the efforts - they've never found a single clue. There are no answers. Listen as we dive into the Nebraska, the case of Chance Englebert, and how to stay alive on vacation. Do you have a story to share? The AKC just made a major change to field trial rules: judges in walking stakes can now use ATVs and UTVs instead of being required to ride horses. To unpack what this means for the sport, I sit down with Paul Hermes — a Florida-based AKC field trial and hunt test judge — to talk through the impact. Paul is realistic about the situation and in an ideal world, he would prefer to have horses for judging. But he also recognizes the practical challenges: horses are increasingly hard to source, and many younger participants don't own them. We discuss the upsides of this shift, the potential challenges it brings, and why, overall, this move could help keep field trials alive and more accessible for the next generation. You can find Paul on Facebook or email him at phermes1@gmail.com. Back in Flagstaff after our 5 week journey, but as we came into the state we saw the smoke from the Oak Ridge Fire and we also were reminded of the disgraceful state of roads in the northwestern part of the state. A budget update…spoiler, no government shutdown but the Diamond Backs got a sweetheart deal. Angela and I break all this down plus the “Big Beautiful Bill”, Canada capitulating again under Trumps pressure and record travel expected this week. Olivia joins me for the 2nd hour with updates on heat related rescues and a paraglider incident in the Phoenix area. I look back over the last few years of my life and I've spoken on big stages next to some pretty big names. Andy Frisella Ed Mylett David Goggins. And while this has been very impressive and a huge highlight in my life, I have a new found appreciation. I bought a ranch a few years ago, and I recently hosted a Man Camp for Dads and sons. We taught them everything from working with knives, guns (I just taught, and did NOT hold a firearm), educated them on the farm ecosystem, got up locase with the cows, rode ATVs, fished, did some grilling out, and walked the land a bit. There was nothing more rewarding than teaching kids things you can't learn on an electronic device. Seeing their Dads spend time with them without interference or checking their phones was priceless. We provided an experience that will stay with those 12 kids and 10 Dads forever. There's no better time spent than taking in nature under the sun in open fields. I'm not sure when I'll have the next event like this (probably not in the summer), but when I do, I hope you get a chance to take advantage of it. It doesn't have to be with me, but if you're fortunate to create that space for you and your children in your life, it's one I promise you won't regret. The best part, no one got hurt. Some of the kids left holding their heads a bit higher having learned new, practical skills and feeling great about themselves. Build confident children. They're the adults of tomorrow. Welcome to The Times of Israel's Daily Briefing, your 20-minute audio update on what's happening in Israel, the Middle East and the Jewish world. Legal reporter Jeremy Sharon joins host Amanda Borschel-Dan for today's episode. The High Court of Justice issued an interim injunction on Tuesday stating that Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar must remain in office until further notice and giving the government and the attorney general until April 20 to reach a compromise over the legal dispute surrounding the unprecedented vote last month to fire him. Sharon sets the scene in -- and out -- of the courtroom yesterday. Thirty-one percent of Israelis, including 36% of Jews, believe the government should disregard the High Court of Justice if it reverses the dismissal of Shin Bet head Ronen Bar, according to a poll published by the Israel Democracy Institute on Tuesday. In light of this dangerous moment, Justice Noam Sohlberg, despite his skepticism of the government’s position, was the first to suggest a compromise, proposing the government and the attorney general refer the matter to the advisory committee. Sharon explains. And finally, Sharon brings us a story about how Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and Settlements and National Missions Minister Orit Strock participated in a ceremony last week in which 19 all-terrain vehicles paid for with state funds were granted to illegal settlement farming outposts in the South Hebron Hills region, for "security purposes." On Saturday, November 2, 2024 15-year-old Tripp Brazeale headed out of his house in Forrest City, Arkansas on a four-wheeler. After dark and into the early morning hours of Sunday November 3, Tripp, two family members, and a friend were hanging out in a part of the woods called Crow Creek, riding ATVs. Now it’s mostly illegal to ride four-wheelers on paved roads in Arkansas and in many other places, but out there in the country, it’s a common mode of transportation for teens. There were police officers nearby that night. Deputy Trey Bynum and Sgt. David Kinney from the St. Francis County Sheriff’s Office were responding to a call regarding with a missing girl and boy from Cross County. Deputy Bynum wrote in his report that while they were checking out a residence in the woods, they heard ATVs driving around erratically. When they finished up and got back into their vehicles, Sgt. Kinney went to go find them. He was the first one to make contact; he was talking to the people on one of the four-wheelers, basically telling everyone to slow down. As Deputy Bynum approached, he saw one of the four-wheelers slow down like he was about to stop but then, he said, take off and pass him at “a high rate of speed.” The driver of that ATV was Tripp Brazeale. At that point Deputy Bynum started his pursuit, trying to pull Tripp over. The high speed chase went on up a hill and back down a hill, and that’s when something happened...something that caused Tripp to abruptly stop and jump off his four wheeler at 12:42 AM and run into the woods. He didn't come back after Deputy Bynum called after him. He fled into the woods and kept running. And then, he disappeared. Tonight I will be welcoming Waylon and Reno from Albert, Canada. I will also be speaking to Angel from GA. Reno writes "Hey Wes, been a listener of your show for a while now and I had a strange encounter on Thanksgiving (Canadian thanksgiving Oct 14th). Been hesitant to contact you about it but I thought you might want to hear it. I'm located in Northern Alberta. I'll start from the absolute start, my brother and a family friend went hunting around two years ago a few miles from my family friends house down an overgrown cut line that turns very swampy. My brother and him are avid hunters. It rained the night before and the ground was very soft as they went in on ATVs so my brother got off to see how bad one spot was to cross and noticed large footprints in the ground spacing around 8 feet apart in a straight line. They both never seen anything like that before so after leaving my brother came back to the spot and casted the track (I can send photos of the tracks and the print he casted) Fast forward to this Thanksgiving. Our family friend now lives in a different location, with a butcher living at that house. The butcher got a blood infection around a month before Thanksgiving and was in the hospital, so nobody was staying at that house for around a month. Me and my brother went to that place at around 11pm on the night before thanksgiving to use his smokehouse to smoke a biscuit for thanksgiving the next day. I stayed in my truck that was parked towards the overhead doors listening to music while it smoked while my brother stayed in the shop. I'm not very easily creeped out at all but the entire time I kept looking over my shoulder into the woods. I just had an eerie feeling the entire time sitting waiting for the meat to finish smoking. We finished up went back to my place in town and cooked it. Fast forward to Thanksgiving day. Me and my brother went back at around 2pm in the afternoon to use the shops butcher equipment to cut and package the meat. While my brother was inside I went to my truck to charge my vape. Across the gravel road lies a run down yard where a farmer has a run down trailer without siding with white paper exposed half blowing off and a couple of old beat up trashed vehicles. As I looked up after plugging in my vape I noticed through an opening in the trees there was a black figure that resembled a head moving out from behind the trees looking at me and moving back in, doing this continuously. I only noticed it because the white siding paper was directly behind it so it really stood out and it was the only thing moving because there was no wind that day. I stared at it for a few minutes trying to figure out what I was looking at and my brother eventually came looking for me and I pointed it out to him. We came to the conclusion that it was probably a person on a deck moving stuff in and out of the trailer. He went back inside and I kept looking at it and waved. About a minute after my brother went inside and after I waved this figure really started swaying fully into the opening and back behind the trees. I heard on your podcast of them doing this sort of thing but I blew it off thinking yeah right this has to be a person. I'm always teasing my brother about Bigfoot and now I'm seeing this from a yard that's a 10 minute drive from town? I eventually went inside helped my brother pack the meat and we left. There was no vehicle parked on the road or in the yard when we drove by and there was no deck on the side of the trailer where I saw the figure. That creeped me right out. We went back the next day to check out the yard and see if we could see if there was any evidence of something being there. We didn't find anything but I dropped my brother off exactly where the opening was and went back to the same spot in the yard where I stood the previous day to gauge how tall this was (I thought there was a deck where it was because it was so high up). There was an old junk truck near the opening and my brother stood inside of the door and put his hand all the way in the air and I could see the bottom of his fingers through the opening. After seeing that I got chills man. My brother is 6'3'' so whatever we saw was extremely tall. Would love to come on the show and talk about it if you'd like, don't want to use my actual name though. I feel like here in Northern Alberta Bigfoot encounters aren't too uncommon, I've heard accounts from family friends and my grandfather had a man that worked for him with a strange encounter building a dam with a family of the workers work from the other side of the river." Angel writes "I writing to let you know of some encounters I have had over the years. My first encounter took place in Gordon County , Sugar Valley Ga near Johns Mountain in the early fall of 2013 when this encounter took place it was myself, my ex husband, my mother, and inlaws, we were in what they call the upper field checking on the pumpkins they had planted after my in laws got done checking on everything we were all standing around talking when all of sudden a tree falls, keep in mind we hadn't had any rain in weeks and the ground was super dry, and no wind was blowing, I made the comment it's weird the tree just falls and jokingly i said maybe its a bigfoot and my mother in law laughs it off and states trees fall all the time, I remember my father in law as well having to put scarecrows up to get animals out of the crops, i remember several times him saying the watermelons and pumpkins being spilt open in halves it appeared something had purposely spilt them open and were eating the inside , this property boarder's the WMA . the second incident happened in a different area of the same property, a few weeks after the tree fall, my ex husband and I had just pulled in our drive way when his cousin came running out of the house with his shotgun saying something tall and dark was trying to get the chickens , he had fired his shot gun towards the chicken coop, and the upright figure ran off, i asked him was it a bear and he said no a bear doesn't run upright on 2 feet, i went into the house and came out a few minutes later to get something out of the car when i noticed a huge footprint, i called my ex husband and his cousin over to look at it and his cousin said thats no average foot print. keep in mind it had been raining and the footprint was very distinct that was the only noticeable foot print as the rest of the area was grassy. we guessimated the footprint was about 14 inches in length, and about 8 inches in width after noticing the footprint we just brushed it off an went back into the house, nothing else happened after that. the final incident happened in the winter of 2013 in a little community in gordon county ga called nickelsville on hwy 136 , me and my niece had just left my parents house and it was right at dusk my niece was driving and had turned onto hwy 136 off of hwy 225 heading back towards Resaca when a large upright hair covered creature crossed the road in front of us the creature crossed from left to right and took 2 steps to completely cross the road, my niece freaked out slammed on breaks and stopped in the middle of the road and asked what fuck was that , we were both shocked and terrified at what we had just seen, my niece was so upset that i had to drive home. we guessimated it to be around 7 feet tall. it scared my niece so bad that she didnt wanna go on that road for a long time, keep in mind this about 20 miles from fort mtn where there has been numerous sasquatch encounters."
