Today, Brayden's oldest daughter Yael (Jael) joins him as they discuss this weeks portion. This is a special portion for Yael, as the haftarah portion is from where her name comes. Brayden and Yael discuss the importance of being a mighty warrior and also the justice that Yeshua (Jesus) will bring to the earth when He returns. This weeks portion is: TORAH Exodus 13:17-17:16 PROPHETS Judges 4:4-5:31 GOSPEL Matthew 14:22-33 Want to learn more about our ministry? Parshat b'Shalack - When he let go Torah: Exodus 13:17-17:16 Haftarah: Judges 5:1-31
The portion this week is chock full of truth beginning with the first sentence. The portion's name “Bo” is translated as “Go” in most translations but the literal meaning is “Come”. When God called Moses to bring a message to pharaoh He actually told him to “come” to pharaoh implying that God was already there. So it is in life, when God calls us to a difficult task, He has already gone before and beckons us to come and partner with Him in the work. Brayden also delves into how God's ultimate purpose in freeing the Israelites was so they would be able to worship. Lastly, Brayden points out some of the amazing parallels between Yeshua and the Passover lamb. Praise God He made a way for us to escape the Egypt of slavery and sin through the blood of the Lamb! This weeks portion is: TORAH EXODUS 10:1-13:16 PROPHETS JEREMIAH 46:13-28 GOSPEL JOHN 19:31-37 Want to learn more about our ministry?
