Open Forum During the forum, Pastor Amos confirmed that CFE continues to offer a ministry ordination process through a free online school, a structured ministry plan, and a 3-month practicum. Sophie, already ordained, showed interest in learning more, while Rosalind inquired about receiving the Holy Ghost as described in Acts 2:38. Pastor Amos clarified the difference between the indwelling of the Holy Spirit at salvation and the separate experience of baptism in the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in tongues. He and Rosalind also discussed differing interpretations of "tarrying" for the Holy Spirit. CFE's Atlanta events, including an annual conference and future gatherings, were mentioned, and Pastor Amos explained the meanings of names like Jesus, Yeshua, and Yahweh. Growing In God Podcast Program Number: GIG #284 Web Description: Do you ever struggle to believe that God truly loves you? Are you ever discouraged by the lack of unity among Christians? According to John 17, the glory we have received from Christ is the answer to those problems. His glory means that the Father loves us with the same love He has for Christ, and together we have the same oneness that Christ and the Father have. This is our reality. Let us live in it today.   Show Notes: Religion tends to put everything in the past or in the future. And when we are conditioned by that in our minds, it limits what we can believe. It makes our faith head knowledge, as if it is only something we are supposed to be educated about. But we are not supposed to merely understand the Scriptures. And we are not supposed to lock them up in the past or the future. We are supposed to walk in them in our daily lives.   According to John 17, Yeshua (Jesus) said, "The glory which You have given Me I have given to them." That means His glory has already been given to us. That is not head knowledge. Nor is it off in the future. It is ours to possess now because we have this glory from the Father for a purpose, which needs to be a reality. Yeshua prayed that we would be one, and that does not happen because we try to work it up. Our oneness in the Body of Christ happens because of His glory.   His glory brings our oneness, and by that the world will know that the Father has sent Christ. But there is another aspect that the world will see in us, which we often overlook. Because of the glory that we possess in Christ, the world will know that the Father loves us just as He has loved His Son. Is it real to us as Christians that God loves us with the exact same love He has for Christ? It should be. Let us absorb this Scripture until it is more than something we accept mentally. Part 2 of an exposition of Psalm 110.Psalm 110shows that the one “at the right hand” of God not only has been given the authority to rule as YHVH's designated King Messiah, but is also appointed by YHVH as Priest Messiah. The high priest mediates between humans and God. The author of Hebrews emphasizes the mediatorial role of Yeshua the Messiah who as our high priest has gone into the presence of God, being at the righthand of God, as our mediator (Heb. 1:3, 1:13, 8:1, 10:12, 12:2). The author of Hebrews hardly mentions that Jesus is the designated King Messiah, but emphasizes that Jesus is the Priest Messiah who mediates for us in the presence ofGod. Paul agrees. The one mediator between God and man is the man Christ Jesus, not a God or a god-man (1 Tim. 2:4-6).  In this way,Jesus is David's Lord not only because Jesus is David's king, but also becauseJesus is David's mediating priest who enables David, eventually, to come beforeGod (cf. On this unusually warm Preparation Day here in DFW, I invite you to join me as we tackle a provocative question: Have we truly finished the Great Commission—and could this be the very thing that triggers the End Times? In this episode, I share my personal reflections and biblical analysis after reading a recent BlazeTV article featuring global missions leader Douglas Cobb. Cobb claims that within the next decade, every people group on earth will have access to the Gospel, and that this milestone could unleash the End Times and prompt the return of Messiah. But is this really what Scripture teaches? Here's what you can expect as I walk you through this timely discussion: My take on Cobb's claims: I break down the metrics and milestones cited by mission organizations, including Bible translation efforts and church planting, and ask whether these truly fulfill Yeshua's mandate. A deep dive into the Olivet Discourse (Matthew 24): We'll explore the sequence of events Yeshua said must occur before the End comes, and what it means for the Gospel to be preached to all nations. The true meaning of the Great Commission: I challenge the idea that simply distributing Bibles or building churches is enough. Instead, I emphasize the importance of teaching, modeling, and living out the Gospel of the Kingdom—Yeshua-focused Torah Living. Why I believe the Great Commission is far from complete: Drawing from Scripture and history, I argue that the true Gospel has not been proclaimed to any appreciable degree since the early centuries AD, and that the Church Triumphant has missed the mark. Comparing Christian traditions: I discuss how Catholics, Orthodox, Protestants, Evangelicals, and Charismatics each interpret the Great Commission differently—and why many approaches fall short of true discipleship. Who decides when the mission is complete? Only Abba Yah knows the times and seasons. I reflect on what it means for us to walk in covenant, obey Torah, and embody Kingdom principles as we await Messiah's return. A call to action: I invite you to consider your own relationship with Yehovah and encourage you to seek true discipleship, covenant living, and a deeper understanding of the Gospel of the Kingdom. Throughout this episode, I share my heart, my convictions, and my hope that we, as a remnant of elect and chosen ones, will rise to fulfill the true Great Commission in these last days. Love and Torah – what's love got to do with it? This study series is based on the “Two Great Commands” – love Yahweh and love your neighbor. Continuing our journey through the second of the Two Great Commands, ‘love your neighbor', Rabbi Steve Berkson takes us to Luke 6:38, where we see Messiah Yeshua continuing to show the contrast between what Rabbi Berkson calls “the Below” and “the Above”. He points out that in order to please the Father, you must be aligned with “the Above”. A component of loving Yahweh and your neighbor is giving. What does that mean, though? Rabbi Berkson clarifies how, when, and why to give. He also points out an incentive to give, noting that whatever we give will be returned, pressed down, shaken together, and running over. Rabbi Berkson uses his trip to a Baskin-Robbins™ ice cream store to make the point. In Luke 6:39-40, Messiah Yeshua tells a parable about the blind leading the blind. Rabbi Berkson cautions about where and from whom you get your information as you walk in Torah observance. There's a lot of misinformation out there that presents itself with authority. In verse 41, Yeshua teaches about the plank in your eye and the splinter in your brother's eye. Rabbi Berkson explains how some people take Torah knowledge and use it as a weapon to try to “help” others with their walk. “Correction can only happen correctly in the right relationship.” Then in Luke 6:47-49, Rabbi Berkson tells us that our lives are like building a house. Are we building on the correct foundation, or without one? The key is whether or not we are listening to and doing the words of Messiah. Rabbi Berkson once again dissects the words in these passages so that you will have a deeper understanding of what Yah expects of you, so that you can do it and receive the blessings.
