None of us were created to sail through life alone and this week, as we look at Genesis 2, we will see that before Adam ever knew he needed companionship, God knew. That's where friendship begins; with God's provision. Christ created us for relationships that give us purpose. We all need people who will get in the boat with us, weather the storms with us, and point us back to the Savior as we seek to be that in return. This Sunday, we are excited to be kicking off our new series called The Friend Ship. It's about far more than having friends, it's about discovering God's purpose together. We will see you Sunday! Discover how He meets us in our struggles and leads us forward with faith, courage, and purpose. To Learn more about Grace Church go to https://gracechurchco.com/In this message titled "Don't Waste the Waiting," Pastor Rick Long explores the life of Joseph from the Old Testament to teach listeners how to find purpose during seasons of delay, struggle, and uncertainty. He emphasizes that for Christians, periods of waiting are not evidence of abandonment, but rather proof of divine preparation (9:02-9:21).Key Themes from Joseph's Life:• God Gives a Promise (13:06 - 24:00): Just as Joseph had dreams of leadership before his trials began, God often reveals a destination before showing the process. The pastor encourages viewers to hold onto God's promises even when the path is difficult.• God Develops Character in the Pit (24:11 - 31:12): The "pit" represents seasons of betrayal, rejection, and confusion. Pastor Rick clarifies that these moments are discipline and preparation, not punishment, meant to remove pride and shape one's character for future influence.• Endurance in Obscurity (31:14 - 44:00): Whether serving in Potiphar's house or prison, Joseph succeeded because the Lord was with him. The message highlights that faithfulness in small, mundane tasks is the prerequisite for greater responsibility.• Full Dependence on God (44:00 - 51:08): Through imprisonment and being forgotten, Joseph learned to rely entirely on God rather than his own circumstances or plans.• The Ultimate Purpose (51:10 - 57:00): Eventually, Joseph is elevated to the right hand of Pharaoh to save his family and the nation. The pastor connects this to the life of Jesus, who also endured suffering to offer salvation to many.Core Takeaway:God never wastes a hurt or a season of waiting. If you are currently in a "pit," a season of waiting, or a difficult job, the message encourages you to change your perspective: God is preparing you for something greater than you can currently imagine. At the end of the service, the pastor invites those who have not accepted Jesus to make that decision (58:55-1:01:13) and shares updates regarding the church's Forge Fury Classic golf tournament (1:01:46-1:03:0:00 Welcome and Announcements0:40 Introduction to the Series: Stories of Struggle3:14 Defining "Don't Waste the Waiting"10:57 The Life of Joseph: A Journey Through Seasons13:04 1. Lidcombe - - Psalm 19 - God Reveals Himself

Send us Fan MailHave you ever found yourself waiting for the perfect moment to finally move forward? Maybe you've been waiting until you feel more confident, have more money, know exactly what to do, or can see the entire path ahead. The truth is, most of us spend far too much time waiting for certainty when God is simply asking us to take the next step. The clarity you're looking for often doesn't come before movement—it comes because of it.In this episode of You Are More, Amy challenges the idea that confidence comes first. After more than three decades in business and a lifetime of walking by faith, she's discovered that confidence isn't something you wait to feel before acting. It's something that's built through consistent action. Every time you choose courage over comfort, every time you honor a commitment to yourself, and every time you take one small step forward, your confidence begins to grow.Amy also explores one of the greatest obstacles to purpose: comfort. While comfort feels safe, it can quietly become a cage that keeps us from the very opportunities God has placed in front of us. Looking back at the Israelites, she reminds us how easy it is to romanticize what is familiar rather than stepping into the unknown where growth happens. Real transformation rarely occurs inside our comfort zones. It happens when we trust God enough to move before we have every answer.Throughout the episode, Amy shares practical encouragement for anyone feeling stuck. She explains that our future is not built by one dramatic leap but by hundreds of faithful "yeses." A phone call. An application. A workout. An invitation. A difficult conversation. These small acts of obedience compound over time and eventually create an entirely different life. The goal isn't perfection—it's consistency. If you've been waiting for the right time, this episode is your reminder that there may never be a perfect moment. God often reveals the path one step at a time. Your responsibility isn't to see the whole staircase—it's simply to take the next step. Because movement creates clarity, clarity creates opportunity, and opportunity opens doors you could never have imagined. Today is the perfect day to stop waiting and start moving. In This EpisodeWhy movement creates clarityThe myth of waiting for perfect timingHow confidence is built through consistent actionWhy comfort can quietly become a cageThe danger of staying where life feels familiarHow one decision at a time shapes your futureWhy consistency beats motivationThe power of honoring commitments to yourselfHow to stop waiting and start walking by faithThree practical action steps to move into your next seasonConnect With Us:Website: https://www.youaremore.comJoin The 6AM Club Bible Study! Man was created to worship God, but his sin has placed him under Satan as his Master. Man, by nature, wants to worship something, you can see that in all of the religions that are created. There has been only one God given religion, and that was Judaism, which is no longer valid. All other religions are created by man. Christianity is not a religion, it is a relationship with Jesus Christ. Yet, these man-made religions are created by Satan to deceive man from the worship of the one true living God. While man may not be searching specifically for the living and true God, he is searching for a god, and he is willing to put up an idol and worship it. Man is also not searching for salvation, for it is not until the Holy Spirit convicts the heart of the lost person that he begins to realize his sin, his responsibility for that sin, and the punishment that he will ultimately face for that sin. Paul says, “and find him, though he be not far from every one of us.” Paul was telling the Athenians that the God of Creation, the God revealed in nature, providence, and circumstance, was not far away. He had revealed Himself in those things. Indeed, nature is God's oldest testament. His eternal power and Godhead are revealed in His creation and in His providential dealings with man. The next question is how has God shown Himself? Paul states that it is by the “the invisible things,” (love, goodness, power, judgment). “From creation” (the very beginning) are “clearly seen,” and “understood,” by creation. Has God revealed Himself to man? Have all men had a revelation of God, from God? YES! The Scriptures make it very clear that through many means God has revealed Himself to all men through creation, law, conscience, spirit, prophet, seasons, and on and on. He has done this “so they are without excuse.” Click on the link below to hear a lesson on how God has revealed Himself to all of mankind. This is a live recording of The Master's Class Bible Study at LifeChange Church Wichita, KS. Amen.
This sermon examines Daniel's interpretation of King Nebuchadnezzar's dream, highlighting the supremacy of God over human history and political powers. The preacher emphasizes that true wisdom and revelation come solely from God, who reveals mysteries to those who seek Him in prayer and humility. Central to the message is the prophecy of an everlasting kingdom established by God that will destroy all earthly empires, fulfilled ultimately in Jesus Christ. The transcript connects this ancient vision to the present reality of the church as an agent of God's kingdom, urging believers to trust in divine sovereignty during times of crisis. The study concludes with a call to worship and faith, affirming that God controls the rise and fall of nations according to His sovereign plan.
I fell back in love with yoga after a minor back injury in 2022. To be exact, it happened on 2/2/22 -- and yes, I was paying attention to the sign. The sign was to slow down. To stop trying to do everything myself (as a firstborn productivity addict, that has been a hard lesson to learn). It was during Covid, I was rushing to cram in a stationary bike ride and squats before my Sanctuary community was meeting. I picked up the heavy weight, forgot to focus on form -- even though I used to be a personal trainer and group fitness instructor (great gig post-divorce: free gym membership) -- and it was putting on my leggings afterwards that I realized I couldn't move. Damn those leggings. That led to an internal breakdown and a real reckoning. I was pushing, striving, cramming, overdoing. It was yoga though, with all that stretching, physically and mentally, that brought me back to the only real truth: the present moment. This conversation with my friend Neale Donald Walsch will stretch you in the best way. Like your favorite yoga class, it might be uncomfortable for a second and then something opens. Neale shares so many expansive and honest things I've heard about God, love, forgiveness, and who you actually are. Stay with us for the close because the way he ends this one – well, I don't want to give it away – but it's worth your time. I always love hearing where you've been stretched lately, and how you're learning to trust what's on the other side of that. With so much love, Julie P.S. A 90-minute Soul-Alignment Intensive Session is absolute alchemy and exactly what it sounds like. If you're ready for a real breakthrough, I'd love to support you stretching yourself to what's possible. ✨ juliereisler.com/calendar ✨ Takeaways Your life is not about you; it's about everyone you touch. There is no absolute right or wrong; morality evolves. Love is all that matters; forgiveness is unnecessary when understood. The divine is not separate from us; we are individuation of divinity. Contrast and opposites are essential for experience and growth. The sermon explores the theological significance of the Sabbath years and the resulting Babylonian exile as a consequence of Israel's disobedience. It examines Daniel chapter two, highlighting how God sovereignly reveals hidden mysteries to Nebuchadnezzar through Daniel, demonstrating His ultimate authority over earthly kingdoms. The preacher emphasizes that true wisdom and power belong solely to God, who directs history and removes rulers according to His will. By contrasting pagan reliance on magicians with Daniel's faithful prayer, the message underscores divine providence in preserving His people. The central theme affirms that God reveals future events to fulfill His purposes and to expose the limitations of human power.

If you've been feeling stirred up, emotionally exposed, or unsure what to do with everything God has been revealing lately, this episode will help you understand why awareness is actually an invitation into healing—not condemnation. The hosts welcome back Mike Nolan for a conversation on Christian identity—why it matters today, how it appears in Scripture, and why it often doesn't move from head knowledge to lived experience. They discuss identity as something primarily imparted through prayer, encounter, and relationships with people living as beloved sons and daughters, rather than merely taught. They explore common obstacles like the orphan mindset, performance and success-based self-worth, shame, and problem-centered spirituality. Then they explain how God dismantles false identities through pruning, suffering, and seasons of desolation. Finally, they reflect on the role of emotions in forming identity, clarify the difference between humility and low self-esteem, and emphasize that mission flows from relationship with God.
