God has promised to bestow numerous crowns on His people, such as: the crown of life, the crown of righteousness, and the crown of glory. A crown represents authority, power, dominion, victory, excellence, rest and completion—and with regard to this symbolism, victory over its opposite. This revelation will awaken in you the realization that He really has made us “kings and priests unto God” (Rev. 1:6).Ministry website: www.shreveministries.orgComparative religion website: www.thetruelight.netThe “Catholic Project” website: www.toCatholicswithlove.orgVideo channel: www.YouTube.com/mikeshreveministriesAll audio-podcasts are shared in a video format on our YouTube channel.Get Mike Shreve's book revealing the spiritual identity of the sons and daughters of God: WHO AM I? In this episode Elder Angela speaks and touches on the importance and effectiveness of persistence in prayer. She teaches on the devotion of Pastor Rick Warren and shares her own experience of being persistent.God always hears our prayers, but His answers may come in a different form. Sometimes He says "Yes", other times "No", sometimes "Not Yet", and sometimes He gives us something even better than what we asked for. So, don't be in a rush for God knows what's best for you. Trust and embrace the process, the waiting, the discomfort but know this, that God is grooming and setting things up for you. Hold steadfast and watch God come through for you.In love and light,Into The Garden & Team

It can be hard to hear God's voice when we don't know how he speaks. Lots of times people wonder if God is speaking through this or that voice or experience, but can't know for sure. In this message, Pastor Joel begins to talk about the six ways we see God speak in our Bibles, beginning with the first four, which we could call “supernatural” or “spectacular” means: Dreams/visions, an audible voice, a phenomenon and a voice, and a messenger (angel). He also talks about one way we should not be looking for God to speak to us—through our feelings or "vibes" about something.
Trouble is not something God sends our way. In fact, God has many ways to protect us when trouble comes our way. Some ways are supernatural and others are subtle. Listen to today's Daily Word and learn about three of those ways God protects us in times of trouble. __________ Psalm 91:9–10 NLT, Joshua 1:8 NLT, Matthew 2:13–15 NLT, Genesis 41:33–36 NLT, Acts 28:3–5 NLT __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

From reading His Word with intention to creating space to listen in prayer, we talk about how God still speaks and how we can become more aware of His presence in our daily lives. Whether you're new to your faith journey or looking to deepen your relationship with God, this conversation is an invitation to slow down, listen, and grow. Tune in and be encouraged as we learn to recognize God's voice and respond with obedience and faith.
Today in 2 Samuel 3, we are going to look at the surprising ways that God used to advanced His kingdom when He brought David from being King over Judah to being King over all twelve tribes of Israel. God had purposed to do it, so why didn't He just have all twelve tribes come over after Saul died? It would have been much tidier than having Abner lead them all in rebellion.
In Jesus' famous parable about the sower and the seed, He tells us the seed is the word of God. Are you faithfully sowing God's word into your heart and soul? Do you need motivation to do so?Join me in our Daily World & Prayer, and I'll give you ten reasons to get God's word into you!Scripture Used in Today's Message1 Peter 1:23Psalm 19:11Romans 10:17Psalm 1:1-3Ephesians 5:262 Peter 1:3-41 Thessalonians 2:131 Timothy 1:52 Timothy 3:16-171 Peter 2:2To find Tom on Instagram, Facebook, TiKTok, and elsewhere, go to linktr.ee/tomthepreacher
Prayer is one of the primary ways God speaks to His people, and the Christmas story reveals this beautifully. Through angels, the Holy Spirit, dreams, and moments of divine confirmation, God shows us how prayer creates space for Him to guide, comfort, and lead. In this episode, we explore what the birth of Jesus teaches us about prayer—and how those same practices help us hear God more clearly today. Life is full of crossroads. Jobs. Moves. Relationships. Direction. Many Christians stress over decision-making because they fear missing God's will. Pastor Jeff and Tiffany discuss how Scripture shows God guiding His people through everyday decisions with wisdom and steadiness. They discuss the four steps that bring clarity and peace, and the five “landing lights” that help believers discern God's voice with confidence. What We Discussed04:11 Double-Mindedness and Spiritual InstabilityJames 1 describes wavering between decisions as “double-mindedness.” He compares it to staggering like a drunk; anxious, unsure, and unstable.05:08 The Wrong Ways We Try to Find God's WillCommon but misguided approaches people use are waiting for emotional tingles, relying on formulas, or looking for mystical signs written in the sky. These methods don't reflect how God normally guides His people.07:00 Four Steps for Discerning God's WillAdmit you need a guide; God leads the humble, not the self-reliant. Ask in faith for direction and listen for God's response. Trust God when you don't understand14:19 The Five Landing Lights of God's GuidancePastor Jeff walks through the five markers that help confirm God's direction:Landing Light #1: A Multitude of Godly CounselorsLanding Light #2: Personal DesiresLanding Light #3: The Peace of the Holy SpiritLanding Light #4: External CircumstancesLanding Light #5: The Word of God22:14 Step 4: Trust God When You Don't UnderstandGod rarely shows the full plan. He often gives light only for the next step. Trust becomes essential when the future is unclear. 23:41 God's Will Is Not HiddenGod delights in guiding His people. Many believers wrestle with one of the most common questions in the Christian life: How do I know God's will for me?In this episode, Pastor Jeff and Tiffany begin a new mini-series on Learning and Discerning God's Will. Pastor Jeff shares five key ways God reveals His will: Through Scripture, prayer, circumstances, other believers, and His direct leading. God's will is not hidden from His people but revealed to those who walk closely with Him.What We Discussed01:09 Discerning God's WillPastor Jeff explains why many Christians view God's will as something difficult to find, and how it's often simpler than we think when our hearts are in the right place.03:30 Two Approaches to God's WillSome believers wait passively for God to act, while others move forward and trust Him to guide or redirect. Pastor Jeff discusses finding a healthy balance between the two.05:12 Preparing the HeartBefore learning and discerning God's will, our hearts must be right with God. There are four steps of preparation: Yield fully to God, be willing to obey, confess known sin, and ask for His guidance.07:04 God Desires to Reveal His WillTiffany reads Colossians 1:9 and 1 John 5:14-15, reminding listeners that God wants His children to know His will and equips them with spiritual wisdom and understanding.09:11 Five Ways to Learn and Discern God's WillPastor Jeff outlines five ways God reveals His will: through Scripture, prayer, life circumstances, the counsel of other believers, and His direct leading.18:02 God's Direct LeadingWhile rare, God sometimes provides clear direction through His Word or the Holy Spirit. Pastor Jeff cautions believers to test every message against Scripture and seek wise counsel.19:21 Living in God's WillDiscerning God's will starts with the heart. When we are yielded, prayerful, and obedient, we can trust that we are already walking in His will.“If you want to know what God wants, you have to want what God wants.” – Steve BrownWe love your feedback! We know that Scripture is the primary way God speaks to us—but many of us still wonder how to recognize His voice in everyday life. In this episode of Imagine Yourself, we revisit a powerful conversation with Kelli Shelton, co-founder of Seek Well Ministries, who joined us to talk about how to quiet the noise and truly listen for God.Kelli's insight is both deeply spiritual and refreshingly practical. She reminds us that hearing from God isn't about striving harder—it's about slowing down, being still, and letting His truth guide our hearts. Here's what you'll discover in this conversation:

We all ask, "What is my purpose for living? I want to do something meaningful! I want purpose to flow from my heart, my gifts and calling, and my God-given destiny. How can I know God's calling and destiny for my life?"How about we examine twelve light-posts which guide us along this wonderful path to the understanding and then fulfillment of our destiny. It is a path that shines brighter and brighter until the dawning of the full day (Prov. 4:18, 23; Jn. 7:37-39). That would mean, even though God knows it, it will take us a number of years to see it and then walk it out.Read more here.Support the show

In the Stations of the Cross, Jesus falls three times. Have you ever wondered why three? Dr. Sri reveals how these falls symbolize the three main areas where we need God's healing during Lent: lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and pride of life. Dr. Sri also explains how the Lenten practices of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving can serve as antidotes to these core battles. Snippet from the Show The three falls of Jesus point to the three main battles we face every Lent and the three main places of healing God wants to do in our hearts. _ _ For full shownotes, visit Ascensionpress.com/Allthingscatholic, or text ALLTHINGSCATHOLIC to 33-777 for weekly shownotes sent to your inbox.
