Tech Tips on Tuesday Topics. For the last few Tuesday Topics we have dealt with some fairly heavy topics. I thought it might be fun to share new things on this next show. How I spend my days as someone who is retired involves the use of a variety of technologies. I spend a good deal of time with baseball, lots of time with music, some time with podcasts, some time watching TV Find out more at https://acb-tuesday-topics.pinecast.co

Bath comedian Sunil Patel ( BBC Asian Network) dons the mantle of Deputy Loreperson in this Covid-19 Lockdown Special. Sequestered in our separate garrets, sheds and jazz lounges, we learn the story of King Bladud. Bladud was a daredevil, a leper, an assistant pig farmer and founder of the city of Bath. In the 1720s, Blenheim Palace was gifted to the Duke of Marlborough for his role in the Battle of Blenheim. In the 1820s, Beethoven gifted us his glorious ninth symphony. In the 1920s, Disney gifted us the marvellous Mickey Mouse. So, in the 2020s, we decided our gift to you would be more episodes, completing the decade with the formation of the Houston Hanks’ (don’t hold us to this). But what else can we expect in the years ahead? How will streaming services, the content of 2019, and the focus of modern productions influence a whole ten years of film and TV? Find out in our roaring 20s predictions episode.

We're celebrating P.T. Barnum's birthday this week in an episode featuring the history (and name) of the infamous circus theme music, a history of P.T. P.T. Barnum, as it turns out, was not only an incredibly devious businessman, but also astonishingly brilliant. Even though he never actually said, "There's a sucker born every minute," he might as well have. We went a little Connecticut-heavy in this episode. Emily talks about the Hartford Circus Fire, and if you follow us on Snapchat, you might have seen the pictures and videos taken from her field trip. Produced by http://Fastpitch.TV - This is another show from when I was at the NFCA Convention. On this episode I interview former Olympian Kelly Kretschman. To see her bio visit our website http://USAfastpitch.com. http://SoftballJunk.com is a great resource for fastpitch softball bats. Former Olympian Kelly Krentschman kindly took the time for an interview and admits that she actually began playing baseball when she was six years old all the way until she reached high school. She was forced to play fastpitch softball and making her a little upset for the reason that it was her dream to be a New York Yankee. She adjusted well and enjoyed her time playing softball leading up to her accomplishment of winning a gold medal! She mentions that being a part of the U.S.A. team was, at first, a bit nerve racking trying out along side her idols and trying to beat them out for spots on the Olympic fastpitch softball team. Kelly also coaches at a Triple Threat Softball Camp all around the country. You can check out more information at triplethreatsoftball.com. Kelly enjoys coaching at these softball camps getting young players a taste of what it takes to be an Olympian. She then, finishes her interview with a few words of encouragement to all athletes out there to work hard, never give up, and always follow your dreams! The Fastpitch TV Show is sponsored by SoftballJunk.com http://SoftballJunk.com is a great resource for fastpitch softball bats. In the first part of Bill Hillhouse’s pitching clinic Bill talks about how pitching is taught. A major importance in teaching a young girl how to pitch is to demonstrate! Having a visual to work off of and to see how to pitch the right way is a lot more beneficial to a player than for a coach to just be telling her to do something a certain way. Check this part of the clinic out if you may have a question on why your pitch is high, low, far to the right, or far to the left.
