"How good are you willing to feel?" This is not always an easy question to answer . . . especially during times when life feels quite the opposite of good. In a recent interview with Dr. Vanessa Sage, she shared that this is one of the most important questions we can ask ourselves at this time. As we sank into this soulful conversation I felt this question (that I've previously heard and said many times) in a new way. Something about it landed. I think I had previously always focused on the word good, but in that moment I felt the significance of the word feel. It reverberated throughout my body . . . reminding me to be in my body, to honor it, and to feel good within it. Throughout our conversation, Vanessa shared how this question has been a lighthouse for her over the years. She also shared how, in a recent journey deep within, this question not only reignited her passion life, but created a deep experiential understanding of what it means to be of service and live the mystery. This conversation is rich and deep. Join us for this week's episode of the Meet Me in Sacred Space as we sink in further. Here are a couple things you can expect in this episode: Why this question is one of the most important questions we can ask ourselves at this time. How this question plants a very needed seed of hope. The value of turning how we really feel. The power of pivoting and integrating change on the sacred path and in our business. What service really means. Living and understanding the mystery. Giving self permission to speak boldly . . . to be both fierce and gentle. This episode was part of the series of The Heart Work Podcast, which I tried out for a bit of time in 2021. I realized very soon once I had delved into this podcast that I was feeling called to rekindle and reconnect to Unravelling. The work of Unravelling is not done. What does Priestessing your business really look like? Vanessa Sage and I explore… In this episode with Vanessa Sage we unpick and explore some of the ways that we can bring the concept of ‘Priestessing' into our sacred heart work. This conversation is truly rich and I have no doubt that it will be an important catalyst for new perspectives when it comes to new paradigm business. Dr. Vanessa Sage, Ph.D. is a Priestess, cultural anthropologist, and poet. Her work focuses on self-compassion, inner-bravery, and discovering the mystery in our everyday lives. She follows an earth path and honours ancient Priestess lineages while moving our practices forward to support vital leadership, reclaim the sacred in all forms, and bring us back to a soul-centred animate world of wonder worth living in. In this episode we discuss… The Goddess path and how Vanessa brings this way of running business in a feminine way to her own heart work. Unpicking the great social media debate… the impact it is having on mental health, controversy on social media, and how we can navigate the fear of stepping away it if we need to. Honouring our own inner seasons and acknowledging burnout and how important it is to fill our own wells. The messy truth behind what Vanessa's business looked like when she first began and how she got the nudge to begin Priestess training in 2014. How Vanessa brings Priestessing into her own business and life. Why she has taken a sacred pass in the midst of a big launch - and some honest truths around what launching any offering can surface. How Vanessa supports herself through self care and boundaries to ensure she can show up and bring her heart work to the world without harming her own health and wellbeing. And so much more! It's been a bit since my last episode . . . I think it's been over a month. As I'm putting everything together this morning, I'm enjoying a beautiful snowfall out the window. There is just something magical about this white blanket upon the earth. As I watch it fall I want to just cozy up with a cup of tea, a blanket, and a good movie . . . or better yet, to take a bit of time to reconnect here! This has been a wonderfully busy time for me, but I've missed you. What's been happening in your world? Over here, Crystal Shaman School is in full swing. It opened with a ceremony in early November and since then I've been joyfully immersed in the magic that program . . . from connecting with the beautiful souls who've embarked on this journey to creating content, answering questions, and simply holding space for magic to unfold. Each day I find myself in complete delight of the divine perfection unfolding within it. And, now that it is finding its unique rhythm and I'm finding my creative flow within it, I will be returning to more regular podcast episodes, as well as messages here. Yay! I'm so excited about this. And hoping you are too ;-) This week I am kicking it off with an interview with my dear friend and colleague, Vanessa Sage as we talk tarot. I just love divination. And this time of the year, as we move into a more reflective season, I find myself bringing more connecting with the cards to discover what they have to say about the year to come. Vanessa has been working with the tarot since she was a child and I greatly admire the level of presence and understanding she brings to this sacred art. Tune in as she shares a glimpse into the tarot and the ways she brings this into her life.
