Episode 367: Gladiator It is time to take a break from season two's of television. This week we go back in time to the year 2000 to discuss the Ridley Scott classic Gladiator starring Russel Crowe and Joaquin Pheonix. It was definitely wonderful to take a look back at such a classic early 2000's film. It really feels like they don't make movies like this anymore. This movie is old hat for David as he saw this film back when it opened in theaters and for Brian this was his very first viewing of this film. Thank you History Buffs youtube who made a great background on the historical context of this film as David references History Buffs to make this more than just a basic talk about the film we have some real history discussion as well.
