The first game of the 2022 NCAA Division 1 Mens Lacrosse season. A match up between Bellarmine and Mercer. This will be an exciting start to the season for both teams. Bellarmine will have their work cut out for them right from the opening whistle. Mercers face-off star, Ashton Wood was one of the top in the country last season with .629 win percentage. Bellarmine may have lost a record defensemen in Eric Rubak last season but expect John Robbins to match up against Mercers top offensive threat. Robbins was one of the top 5 in take aways a year ago.
