Life is about taking that next step. Fears, self-doubt, and confusion keep us back from doing what we are asked to do. Do we have the courage to step into the unknown and take that next step?

What is keeping us back from going forward and doing the things we are called to do? Life circumstances happen and we carry those thoughts into our daily life. Unfortunately, the circumstances keep us back. But God is a God of miracles and he is the one fighting our battles, we just need the courage to trust in his plan.

The root of fear and the source of doubt are the same. Fear is the uncertainty of God's plan, and doubt we do not understand the process of God's plan. But what if we removed doubt and just took the next step. Do we really need to know the whole plan, or can we just take the next step? Sometimes we feel we need to know all of the answers, and it is the answers that will give us our next step. But what if we are asking the wrong question? If we are asking the wrong question, then we will get the wrong interpretation of our answer. We all struggle, and struggling is ok! The real question is, what do we do with the struggle. Whenever we struggle, we need to ask ourselves one question….What is the next step that will bring me closer to Christ? We are being prepared for these last days. We will experience, at times, what might feel more than we can handle. Our doubts, struggles, and fears may soon become blessings if we are using them to prepare us to become strong in the fight ahead to gain a stronger relationship with God, and his son Jesus Christ.

What if we decided to look at every situation we go through as a stepping stone to who we are created to become? What if today we decided to have a paradigm shift and look at our lives through God's eyes. Maybe the trials we go through are not trials at all but a way for us to build and strengthen our foundations.

Everyone of us is called to do something great. I say great because no matter what it is, it is great in the sight of the God. So how can you rise to your call? What is God asking you to do? What has the spirit been promoting you to do? Are you rising to your calling? If we are not continually growing and learning then we need to look at what we need to do different. Life is hard and our responsibilities can even be harder. Being a servant of the Lord takes our time and requires so much sacrifice. But it is so important to remember that he has called you. You are the only one that can do your calling. He needs your strengths and weakness, he needs your commitment, he needs your ability to love, and serve, and bless, and teach. As we do this, we rise to our call.

Where is the light, and what does it look like? For each of us, it is different because we are being taught differently. God has a path and a plan for each of us. When we follow his way and his plan, then we are taking a step toward the light. Listen as we talk more about following the light and being on the path God has created for us. What is the difference between a doer and a follower? We have been taught our whole life that we need to be a follower of Christ. Then why do we need to be more of a doer than follower?

What would happen if you just decided to believe? What if one of the reasons why more people see God in their lives is because they choose to see him? What about if we chose to believe that God was all knowing in our lives? What if we believed He planned out all of our interactions, relationships, circumstance, situations? What if we believed he gives signs of his existence? What if we just chose to believe?

Heard the story of the bucket? You start out with a bucket of water and soon you start to put in more water and more water and soon your bucket overfills. So many times we are over flowing and unfortunately often its the most important things that are being replaced. The most beautiful thing about getting older and wiser is that you can choose to do things differently, you can choose to let go.

Finding our personal strength is building our house upon the rock. True strength is being grounded and not letting whatever waves come our way take us out. We need to get to a point where reaching in and finding our strength becomes automatic but it can only become automatic when we have experience in our life that give us the opportunity to use this strength.

We are not here to walk this earth alone but with others sharing experiences as we all grow in this thing called life. Finding your tribe takes effort on your part. If you want others to share their life with you, you first have to share your life with them. Are we denying gifts from above because we struggle to receive help from others. Being vulnerable is one of the hardest traits to learn but as we breakdown these barriers, our live can be filled with beautiful experiences filled with so much love.

Forgiveness frees us from the past. Forgiveness allows us to love. Men are that they might have joy! Contentment and peace are opposite forces. Because of this, they can not reside together. In order for us to feel peace, we first must learn to forgive. It is hard to do this on our own. We need help from above. Forgiveness takes courage, Love, and gratitude. What we don't realize is that our mission can be found in any job, any position, in any area of our life, at any moment. I often hear from people “You found your purpose in life”. But the truth is that I found purpose in what I do. I have a desire to want to know more and be more because of what I do. You can apply this to anything that you are doing right now. Finding your purpose is living your purpose in everything you do. How do we figure out what our purpose is? Step one: Seek to know God's will for you. If you sincerely desire to know God's will for you in your life, He will give you guidance. Guidance may not come in the way or at the time you expect it, but it will come. Step two: Receive spiritual guidance for your life. If you ask Heavenly Father what you should focus your life on, He can point you to the precise things that will be the best for you. He knows you perfectly and can direct you to do the things that will utilize your talents and bless others. Step three: Commit to doing what Heavenly Father inspires you to do. Walls can bring you protection from any outside harm. But these walls are not helping us grow. With these walls, we can not experience the world and learn new things. How do we tear down these walls? Start by trusting and having faith. Become vulnerable with who you are. It is hard to influence people when you are inside these walls. Break the walls and become the person you were meant to become.

We have 2 types of gifts, Natural Gifts, and Spiritual gifts. What is the difference? Natural gifts are gifts you have been given that you may not have to work hard for, you have a special talent that is freely expressed. Spiritual gifts are ones you have to nurture and build upon. Spiritual gifts, when used, helps brings us and others to Christ. When we discover what our spiritual gifts are, then it is our responsibility to use them. God has shared them with us and we can not hide from them. You have been given these gifts to help and serve his children by you not using these gifts you are not fulfilling your promises you made and you are denying others blessing you can give them.
