The COPPERHEART: A RiggStories Audio Drama podcast is an incredibly well-made and immersive experience. The foley work is exceptional, creating a rich and realistic soundscape that adds depth to the story. The characters are interesting and well-developed, with the exception of the somewhat exaggerated villains, which can be seen as a minor criticism. The story itself flows seamlessly, and the concept of having an episode where a character analyzes the prior events adds a fun twist. However, one aspect that stands out as odd is that the idea of a parallel universe has not been explored in depth.
Despite this small critique, I highly recommend this podcast for its intelligent and engaging content. The cast delivers excellent performances, bringing their characters to life in a compelling way. It's evident that a lot of care has gone into crafting this narrative, making it a standout listening experience.
One aspect that some may find divisive is the profanity used throughout the podcast. While it can be seen as realistic given the circumstances of the story, others may feel that it comes across as gratuitous at times. However, it's important to keep in mind that language evolves over time and can vary depending on personal preferences.
