Jarrett teaches the first ever middle school building trades program for middle school students in the Philadelphia school district. In addition to his school program Jarrett also is in the process of converting an RV he bought into a mobile shop, to offer free classes to children ages 8-17. In this episode of DSP Evan & Andie talk more in depth about a recent news story involving a Canadian Carpenter / Tradeswoman & a trades focused podcast that is suing her because she called them out for some very off color and disturbing comments regarding "Cat Calling" The tradeswomen being sued is Natasha Fritz (IG @Naturalcarpentry ) a carpenter and business owner from Toronto, she is being sued for $15 million dollars by a podcast called "The Construction Life". Luckily with big names like Bryan Baeumler ( IG: @bryanbaeumler) calling out the podcast and standing with Natasha i think we can all see this for what it is....People who got caught saying shit they shouldn't have and then pouring salt in the wound. Natasha currently has a go fund me set up for her legal fund, there is a link on her Instagram page. Also this week we talked about being kind to yourself and putting the bat down.
