We HAVE to talk about the hyper sexual high risk married & single men who are constantly soliciting unwanted sexual acts from us online! These are the same men who wouldn't dare approach me in public but have the audacity to “slide in the dm” and it's always something explicit and raw. It's NOT and it's NOT wanted! When we find ourselves in a process of self-inquiry, the way that our perspective shifts is truly miraculous. We see things differently. The people in our lives, the situations we're in, the resources we have, and most of all, ourselves. In this experience of seeing life differently, one of the fears that the mind will often bring up is the fear of going ‘crazy' or losing our minds. (It's actually quite a literal fear: the ego-mind is afraid to not exist, thus the terrifying images of what it must look like to “lose” it.) This week's group inquiry centers on this fear while also looking at the sidebar fear of being proclaimed “unacceptable.” Who would we be without even these stories? As Katie says, there is nothing so dark that we cannot put it on paper, question it, and set ourselves free.

Cabinet Minister Evan Solomon tells The CJN in a wide-ranging interview how the government is 'highly engaged' in monitoring terrorist threats against Canada's Jewish community. Solomon spent much of last week carrying out his official role as Canada's first Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation, making funding announcements to support local researchers and entrepreneurs. But on Dec. 14, the rookie politician made a point to tell Canadians about the impact that the Bondi Beach Hanukkah massacre had on Canada's Jewish community—including himself. Having already spoken to his rabbi and congregants at his synagogue, Holy Blossom Temple in midtown Toronto, he quickly headed downtown to City Hall to film a video of support, inviting Mayor Olivia Chow to join. Days later, he took part in a roundtable discussion with RCMP officials and other Canadian law enforcement agencies, where politicians and Jewish community leaders were briefed about the possibility of a domestic copycat attack. Solomon insists his government is “highly engaged” with what he calls the “unacceptable level” of antisemitic attacks and the “threat level” that's causing fear and anxiety for his community. On today's episode of The CJN's North Star podcast, Solomon sits down with host Ellin Bessner to explain what is being done. BT and Sal discuss the trade market for ace pitcher Tarik Skubal and the sheer unacceptability of the Mets missing out on him, arguing that losing the bidding war for Skubal would be more egregious than losing players like Pete Alonso or Edwin Diaz. The hosts acknowledge that any deal for Skubal requires a "leap of faith" and a massive haul from the minor league system, especially since no contract extension is guaranteed. Sal emphasizes the importance of staying in the running for the Tigers' ace, fearing the catastrophic optics of him landing with a powerhouse like the Dodgers. The discussion transitions to Edwin Diaz, where they agree his move to Los Angeles was clearly driven by emotion and a feeling of being slighted by the Mets' free-agent decisions, like signing Devin Williams without his consultation.
Don addresses the recent disgusting rhetoric from Donald Trump, starting with him calling a reporter “Piggy,” and escalating into a full-on racist tirade targeting Congresswoman Ilhan Omar and Somali immigrants. It's vile. It's dangerous. It's racist. And it is absolutely unacceptable from anyone, let alone the president. Don breaks down why this rhetoric is so harmful, how it fuels hate and violence, and what it reveals about Trump's increasingly unhinged desperation. This isn't just words. It's part of a long pattern of dehumanizing attacks designed to divide, distract, and incite. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The Unacceptable Price of Peace: Ukraine's Sticking Points — John Hardie — John Hardie details the Russian-drafted 28-point peace plan, which demanded Ukraine's withdrawal from Donbass, prohibition of NATO accession, and limitations on military force size. Ukraine, approaching negotiations strategically, refuses to surrender fortified Donbass territory essential for defense against future Russian aggression. Russia's maximalist demands render an acceptable settlement nearly impossible, though Ukrainians would accept a military freeze in place coupled with robust Western security guarantees. 1900 KYI1V

PREVIEW Janatyn Sayeh highlights the severe, unacceptable air quality and pollution crisis in Tehran, where she grew up. The pollution is described as poison, with carbon dioxide levels reported to be ten times higher than the World Health Organization's recommended average. PREVIEW The conversation focuses on President Claudia Sheinbaum's actions against the cartels amid US pressure, following an unacceptable murder rate, including the recent killing of the ninth mayor since she became president. Sheinbaum has cooperated with Donald Trump, allowing unarmed US surveillance flights and hiring credible security official García Haruch. A major challenge is that her party, Morena, is widely believed to be complicit with the cartels, following López Obrador's failed policy of appeasement. Guest: Mary Anastasia O'Grady. 1931
Brian Keefe told Kyshawn George to foul with the Wizards down by 3 points and an 8-second difference between game and shot clocks. Greg broke down Keefe's blunder, his inability to adjust and more in this episode recapping Washington's 111-105 loss to the Dallas Mavericks. Enjoy!
PREVIEW. US Operations Near Venezuela and Strategic Deception. General Blaine Holt discusses US operations near Venezuela concerning the unacceptable Maduro dictatorship. Holt suggests the highly visible fleet and air power might be a distraction for the regime, which expects a predictable Bay of Pigs-type assault force. President Trump is likely avoiding a "wash, rinse, repeat plan," indicating the "pointy edge of the spear" they are watching is probably not the thing that will get them.
PREVIEW. Far Right-Wing Parties and Russian Interference in Europe. Judy Dempsey observes that far right-wing parties often rise by protesting the status quo but are quickly rejected in power due to unacceptable governance. Russia is identified as a well-known "outside bad actor" attempting to destabilize EU countries by influencing these anti-EU, anti-NATO groups via social media and cyberattacks. Leaders must focus on serving citizens. 1870 COMMUNARD
