This week, Paris gets to build his new space hot rod, and Torres goes through the worst crisis of her whole life. Also, Kim, Seven of Nine, Tuvok, and even Vulcan Hogan help Tom put together his new favorite toy, and B'Elanna wanders the ship alone, seeking any kind of stimulation to remind her that she's actually alive. Finally, Paris has a really cool name for his new shuttle: the Delta Flyer! And the Doctor has a name for what Torres is enduring: depression.

Also, Paris is a sleepwalker, which would probably annoy Torres if they actually slept together--which, at least in this episode, they don't.

This week, we are stunned to learn that Kes is not mentioned one time in this episode. We conclude that Jonathan Frakes is a better Riker than Tom Paris will ever be.  And Captain Janeway cements herself as a better Kirk than Captain Kirk will ever be.

Angelina starts shipping Tuvok and Seven (ship name: Tuven) even though the writers are still trying to make Seven and Kim happen (ship name: Fetch).  Things look bleak for Janeway and Chakotay as Chakotay gets his heart stomped on. Paris gets scolded for caring about his girlfriend. And somehow Kes was not mentioned once even though this is the...Year of Hell! DUN DUN DUN!

In this episode of Displaced in Space, Angelina and Sam discuss "Scientific Method" Season 4, episode 7 of Star Trek: Voyager! This week, we discover all the hidden places on the ship that would be perfect for making out, because Torres and Paris make out in all of them. Chakotay tries to engage in some foreplay, but Captain Janeway literally has a headache. And the writers finally find a good use for Harry Kim: getting a door slammed in his face.

In this episode of Displaced in Space, Angelina and Sam discuss "The Raven" Season 4, episode 6 of Star Trek: Voyager! This week, Seven of Nine confronts her past, we were sadly deprived of Edgar Allan Poe imagery, and instead of getting another Torres and Paris make out session, we get more hints of a romance between Kim and Seven--to which Angelina says, "Hard pass."
