Oktober 1998.
“State of Flux” 30th-anniversary reflections A scouting expedition to an alien planet leads to a game-changing discovery. Surprisingly, it's not leola root. Nor is it mushrooms; though these are all pretty tasty finds. Even the Kazon can't lay claim to the title, despite turning out to have Starfleet technology aboard their ship. But we're getting warmer. How did the Kazon get their hands on the tech? It looks like the Voyager crew have a traitor in their midst. As Janeway, Chakotay, and Tuvok set out to solve the Case of the Cream of Mushroom, the trail leads them to a shocking revelation. In this episode of To The Journey, hosts C Bryan Jones and Matthew Rushing continue our 30th-anniversary retrospective that will take you through all of Star Trek: Voyager, one episode at a time. In this installment, we discuss “State of Flux,” Seska's big secret, how the story questions Starfleet ideals, and why establishing characters before plot twists matters.

April 1997.

JAKOTAY OR CHANEWAY? Did we ever settle on the label for a Janeway-Chakotay relationship? Oh well, it hardly matters, since those two crazy kids are always on the fence about making a move. It all comes to a head in this time travel adventure from season 7 where a Janeway from just before the pilot finds herself becoming more and more attracted to a season 7 Chakotay even as he fills her in on the horrible fate that awaits her during her first command. Does this episode serve as a love letter to Star Trek: Voyager or something better? Will Bryan & Kristen TREK, MARRY, or KILL IT? The grades begin at (22:15).Don't forget! WOOT! New episodes are officially back on a weekly basis and to kick things off this fall, I am bringing on longtime creator, Seska Lee, onto the show. Seska brings on decades of experience in the adult industry and kink scene. Seska utilizes and embraces her age and we have an intimate discussion on what it's like to age through an industry which relies on our bodies and what changes she's gone through. We speak about the different phases of sex work she's participated in over the years and also touch on the very physiological changes that our bodies go through like menopause. Seska also brings up the "invisible woman syndrome" and some other challenges that she has personally gone through. It was such a pleasure to have someone as esteemed as Seska on to share her unique lived experience in this industry. http://seskalee.com https://twitter.com/seska https://www.therealseska.com Don't forget to LIKE, RATE, SHARE, REVIEW and SUBSCRIBE! https://instagram.com/strippedbysiapodcast https://twitter.com/strippedbysia https://www.stephsia.com https://www.patreon.com/Strippedbysia https://www.strippedbysia.com

In this episode of Displaced in Space, Angelina and Sam discuss "Basics, Part II," the first episode of Season 3 of Star Trek: Voyager! This week we learn that Chakotay is...NOT the father! The "General Hospital" storyline has come to an end due to Seska's death. And we almost prematurely gave the Voyager writing staff credit for not killing off Hogan, because now he's dead.
In this Very Special Episode of Displaced in Space, Angelina and Sam discuss "Basics, Part I," the Season 2 finale of Star Trek: Voyager. This week Chakotay's dad guilts Chakotay into taking care of his baby, a Kazon gets the VIP treatment aboard the ship, and we watch helplessly as Voyager walks right into Seska's obvious trap. Oh, and we give out some awards for Season 2!

A barely secret conspirator has been selling Federation technology to the Kazon Nistrim in a weird alternative timeline where there are more than seven people on board the ship, where Chakotay has agency and interesting things to do, and where we really feel like we're stranded tens of thousands of light years from home. Seska Lee is an adult content creator, cam model, writer and educator. She has worked in the adult industry since 1998. With BAs in Psychology and Child Studies, Seska first worked as an educational consultant. Then in 1998, she decided to stray off the beaten path and created an independent adult website seska dot com that chronicled her personal life through photos, videos, live webcamming and journals. Her website endeavours led her to write articles and essays on eroticism, relationships, body image, sex worker rights, feminism, and sexual health for her websites Seska For Lovers and Seskuality as well as being published in Broken Pencil and Naked Ambition: Women Who Are Changing Pornography. Seska has been a featured speaker at SXSW, Concordia University, McGill University, Carleton University, Ottawa University, Sexual Attitude Reassessment Seminars, and various adult industry conferences. She was also featured on HBO's Real Sex Xtra : Pornocopia : Going Down in the Valley : Women on Top and Josey Vogel's Between You and Me on CBC Radio 1. In 2010 Seska retired from porn and focused on personal development and holistic well-being. She studied and wrote about nutrition, wellness, ageing, and personal growth modalities while working as a burlesque performer-producer, an independent escort and feminist sex shop clerk. Then in 2019, she began having recurring dreams of making porn once again. She was curious about what it would look like to make and share XXX content now as a 50-year-old mature babe rather than a girl-next-door. Seska's comeback was a success and she is now a top performer at Treasure Cams and updates her personal site once again with new content multiple times a week --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/performerspod/support
