El Congreso ha aprobado el decreto de embargo de armas a Israel con 178 votos a favor, 169 en contra y una abstención de UPN, mientras que la ley de movilidad sostenible salió adelante con 174 votos a favor, 170 en contra y las cuatro abstenciones de Podemos. Sobre estas decisiones, en el informativo 24 horas de RNE hablamos con Verónica Barbero, portavoz de Sumar en el Congreso.Barbero ha explicado que la Ley de Movilidad Sostenible "intenta avanzar hacia una transición justa, que es imperativa", y que por eso desde el Gobierno apostarán por invertir en "transportes sostenibles, que son necesarios para la mayoría social que los requiere". Desde Sumar consideran que actualmente se parte de una realidad "que está por debajo de los estándares en los que debemos situarnos en temas de sostenibilidad, transporte verde a través del tren, descarbonización de la economía y otras cuestiones a las que tenemos que llegar".En lo relacionado con el decreto de armas a Israel, la portavoz de Sumar ha asegurado que "las únicas personas que podrían haber estado contentas de que no saliese adelante son Netanyahu y su Gobierno". Barbero ha incidido en que "todas las normas son mejorables" y que desde el Gobierno trabajarán en ellas porque, según sus palabras, "queremos mejorarlas".Desde Sumar aspiran a que "se reconozca, automáticamente o al menos en principio, la base de un Estado palestino", y por eso Barbero ha añadido que, una vez logrado eso, "empezaríamos a hablar de un Estado palestino con autonomía, con su propia soberanía, integrado por un pueblo al que debemos proteger y reparar del efecto del genocidio".Escuchar audio

She plays the iconic role of Harriet Tubman in her latest feature film project, Marbles and Bullets, which recently won best feature film at the Costa Brava (Spain) International Film Festival. Her early career started behind the camera, as a production secretary at Warner Bros., where she was able to learn the “business side” of the business. Shortly thereafter, Flack began studying acting and found herself auditioning and quickly booking parts on sitcoms like The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, The Wayans Brothers and The Steve Harvey Show. Her first series regular role came when she landed the part of “Brigitte Goodwin” on the UPN series Malcolm and Eddie which was followed by the role of “Veronica” on Roger Corman's Syfy comic book series Black Scorpion. Additional early credits include projects such as The Sopranos, Ally McBeal, CSI: Miami, NYPD Blue and Homeland to name a very few.
