Soap Operas, Starships, and the Paris/Locarno Thing The Sistas got to sit down with the one and only Robert Duncan McNeill. Before he was flying through the Delta Quadrant as Lieutenant Tom Paris, Robbie was stirring up drama on the classic soap All My Children. We talk about his early days on daytime TV, how he found his true calling behind the camera, and his journey from actor to one of the most respected directors in the biz. And yes, we had to ask about Tom Paris vs. Nick Locarno—and his answer? Let's just say it gave us life! We also geek out over his podcast The Delta Flyers with Garrett Wang, and how rewatching Voyager has given him a whole new appreciation for the show and the fans. Kathryn Janeway. The lead character of Star Trek: Voyager did a lot for her crew in seven years. To trying to merge the Starfleet and Maquis crews after being stranded in the Delta Quadrant, to try and doing several alliances with the Kazon and the Borg, Kathryn Janeway has done it all. Her experiences as trying to hold the ideals of the Federation made her the perfect candidate for the Emergency Training Hologram version for the Starship Protostar in Star Trek: Prodigy. In this episode of Twin Cities Trekkies, which continues the 30 Years of Star Trek: Voyager Celebration, Wes has decided to rebroadcast Episode 35 (at least, the discussion part) to showcase the fourth main character analysis that he and Kenzie did back on January 26, 2022. Any feedback you have can be submitted to the Facebook page (facebook.com/tctrekkiespod), or by emailing them at tctrekkiespodcast@gmail.com. Twin Cities Trekkies is also available on Instagram (instagram.com/twincitiestrekkiespod). We are also working on getting on a new social media platform, BlueSky, so find us there! You can also leave us comments via the Spotify version of the episode. Just keep in mind the feedback you may give may be featured in an upcoming episode of this podcast. Twin Cities Trekkies is available on many platforms!

We're continuing our spotlight series look at the Star Trek pilots with Voyager's "Caretaker". The fourth series in the Star Trek franchise takes us on a very different journey...to the Delta Quadrant. Headlined by the first leading female captain in the franchise. Join us as we head across the galaxy and follow the daring crew of the U.S.S. Voyager as they find themselves 70,000 light years from home dealing with the Caretaker!

Yet another Voyager episode this week as our Dabo Wheel of Episode's love affair with this series continues. Join Captain Goodwill and Science Officer Synoiz as they head back to the Delta Quadrant to review the amazing season 7 episode 'Shattered'. Sponsor Nina to jump out of a plane!
Ah, Voyager... or as we like to call it in the business, the podcast killer. How many Trek-centered shows have thrived covering The Next Generation or Deep Space Nine, only to whither and die when Voyager comes along? But will that happen for our intrepid show? Or will this silly little series be a surprisingly good caretaker for our podcast? The only way to find out is to travel with us 75,000 light years into the Delta Quadrant and watch this premiere episode of Star Trek: Voyager. This is the beginning of part six of our 100 episode list, Venturing Out Into The Universe, in which we're examining how the Star Trek franchise has grown and changed over its history. In this chunk of episodes, we're going to be looking at Voyager--the series that was positioned to be the flag bearer of Golden Age Trek after TNG. This will be a seventeen episode selection comprised of episodes from the first, second, and third seasons of Star Trek: Voyager (1995-96). Episode discussion starts at 23:22. Hosted by Jaron Hatch, Aren Hatch, with Adriana Lemke & Abbie Drage. Email us at storiedstartrek@gmail.com Visit our Discord Server at https://discord.gg/6ynq25Zvkh
On this week's episode of our show, Captain Ingle and I set a course for the Delta Quadrant of the 24th century and the continuing misadventures of the USS Voyager. This time out, the intrepid crew yet again encounters the mischievous entity known as Q. As he often does, Q has something up his sleeve, and this time its a desire to procreate! And who has he chosen to be the mother of his offspring? None other than our unflappable Captain Kathryn Janeway! And as you can imagine, hijinks ensue! Join us as we go boldly!
From the Main Stage of Trek Long Island 2 #treklongisland we are overjoyed to share our interview with Ethan Phillips, Neelix from Voyager and Lolita Fatjo producer of #StarTrekFirstContact and #StarTrekVoyager as well as the upcoming #documentary! Neelix was a primarily Talaxian (also one-eighth Mylean) hybrid who lived in the 24th century. He joined the USS Voyager when it was pulled into the Delta Quadrant by the Caretaker's array in 2371. While Voyager made a seven-year journey through the Delta Quadrant, he served as the ship's chef, morale officer, trade negotiator, "ambassador to the Delta Quadrant" and navigator, in addition to forming close personal friendships with many crew members and becoming a valuable member of the stranded Starfleet crew. Commander Chakotay, who was in charge of personnel on the ship, called him "Without a doubt ... the most versatile member of our crew". #StarTrekVoyager #startrekprodigy #startrekfistcontact #startrek #space #voyager #starfleet #documentary #film #tuvix

Anika and Liz attempt to change the timeline so Paramount never dropped Prodigy and we got to enjoy each episode week by week … but alas, we did not pay attention in Temporal Mechanics 101. We're discussing Star Trek: Prodigy's "Who Saves the Saviors", including… Rok-Tahk knows when to keep her mouth shut and when to tattle, and also has done nothing wrong (ever, in her entire life) Dal has never watched Star Trek and isn't about to start now We have conflicting feelings about birds, and Liz drops some Doctor Who lore Tysses and Noum are the Married Mean Gays that Star Trek has needed for eternity. Yes, we just made that up. But it's canon in our hearts. And we would subscribe to their podcast. This isn't even the first time Chakotay has abandoned a bunch of kids in the Delta Quadrant! Why is everyone so determined to put Janeway and Chakotay in parental roles when it's clear they would both be very bad at it? Jankom represents some of Star Trek's best disability rep ever Janeway is deeply flawed, and that's good writing

A Look Back As we anticipate the new season of "Star Trek: Prodigy," it's a great time to reflect on its remarkable first season. The series introduced us to a diverse group of young aliens who discover the USS Protostar in the Delta Quadrant. Guided by a holographic Captain Janeway, they navigate space, learning about teamwork, responsibility, and Starfleet values. The show blends the adventurous spirit of Star Trek with compelling character development and stunning animation. For those new to "Star Trek: Prodigy," the first season is an engaging entry point into the Star Trek universe. The young crew's journey of learning Starfleet principles offers a mix of humor, drama, and classic Star Trek wonder. As we look forward to the new season, join Aaron Harvey, Brandi Jackola, Rachael Bloom and Steven Fatheree as they catch up and look back--and forward!

On this episode of our show, Captain Ingle and I set a course for the 24th century and the continuing voyages of the USS Voyager in the far reaches of the Delta Quadrant. Voyager successfully holds him off, but both ships are accidently sucked into a time portal that takes them back to 1990's Earth!
