In our first episode to welcome the New Year, we had Donisha and Lydia of "DRESSCODE" to discuss body empowerment and the importance of self-love. Join us as we have an open discussion on body image and self-awareness. DRESSCODE is an online fashion show, created by Lydia and Donisha, who sought out a fun way to be creatively occupied during their summer quarantine. Recognizing that there were no other forms of media centered and magnifying the voices and work of bigger-bodied women, Donisha and Lydia drew inspiration from the other online fashion shows and nationwide photoshoot challenges to create DRESSCODE. In the show both host alternate in setting various challenges for them to complete. Each challenge contains themes that range from specific outfits, photoshoots, and more... Donisha Wilburn is a multi-faceted artist born and raised in Chicago currently residing in Los Angeles. While having the pressure to confirm one area of interest and lack of representation of bigger black women, Donisha took her passions of music, film, and fashion to explore all the aspects of her identity and creativity. Facing her to create DRESSCODE. Lydia Zenaye is a freelance plus model and a content creator based in LA> Lydia spent many years thinking modeling wasn't for her, and as a result, she shied away from pursuing modeling. However, with support, she has gained the confidence to put herself out there. She is into all things creative, while her main love is modeling and fashion content, she also has a passion for creative direction and being behind the camera as well. Dresscode truly was an answer to all these passions. Do not own rights to music Enjoy! follow @sjfrencha and @frenchafullcircle on Instagram to tune in and receive more updates on future episodes.
