As Lord Cognito long predicted, the AI conversation reached a breaking point online when people saw one of the industry's golden children announced that they'll be using generative AI for their game's development. That team is Larian Studios who is responsible for the Divinity franchise alongside the incredible Baldur's Gate 3. The CEO of Larian, Swen Vincke, said that it will be used for mostly pre-production stuff along the lines of whiteboxing or even company e-mails. However, he also let it slip that concept art ideation will be part of that process as an optional tool. Well, social media did not like this at all. It has turned into one of the most split topics to round out 2025. So, where do the Dukes stand? Matty, a longtime critic of AI's usage in development beyond a tool, happens to be a massive Larian fan. Does he bend the knee? What of Lord Cognito who always expected this? Does he blink at such a revelation? Perhaps, it's all overblown. There is a reality where we're years down the line and Larian is on a long list of developers who are all doing the same thing. A shift from incremental growth to exponential possibility. Also covered: The "who, not how" principle. When you get stuck on how to do something, you're asking the wrong question. The right question is who can help you do this?Key question: What would the 10X version of your 2026 goal look like?Episode 2: Make Better Decisions FasterPodcast: The Jasmine Star ShowGuest: Dr. Alan BarnardLa'Kita immediately re-listened to this episode and sent it to five people. You can have debate and friction (which is valuable), but ultimately you need role clarity and respect for expertise. On anxiety: Jens shares his experience with anxiety, how he processes it, how he's learned to leverage it as a superpower, and how he takes care when it becomes overwhelming.Episode 5: America Is at a Breaking Point and I'm Deeply Concerned About the State of the CountryPodcast: The Diary of a CEO with Steven BartlettGuest: Kamala HarrisKamala Harris brings transparency and vulnerability in telling her own story post-election.Core principle (from her mother): "Don't let anyone tell you who you are. You tell them who you are." She decided it was important to control her own narrative: "History is going to write about the 107 days, and I'm not going to let that history be told without my voice being present."On confidence: When you walk in the room, put your chin up, shoulders back, and remind yourself that you belong in any room you're in. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers hit a season-defining low after a brutal late collapse against the Atlanta Falcons, and head coach Todd Bowles made it clear he's had enough. In an uncharacteristically fiery postgame locker room message, Bowles challenged his players to take accountability, calling the loss inexcusable and demanding they “look in the mirror.” After losing five of their last seven games and dropping winnable home matchups to struggling division rivals, the Bucs now sit at 7-7 with their playoff hopes hanging by a thread.Quarterback Baker Mayfield stepped up following the loss, taking full responsibility for critical fourth-quarter mistakes and refusing to shift blame to the defense. While Tampa Bay remains mathematically alive in the NFC South, the margin for error is gone. With roster flaws, inconsistent execution, and leadership being tested, the Buccaneers face a defining stretch that will determine whether this season is salvaged or remembered as one of missed opportunities and internal collapse. What if the biggest danger to Canada isn't a foreign enemy or even U.S. President Donald Trump? Rather, poor policy decisions and decades of deferred leadership that have created deep regional resentments – including here in Alberta – that threaten to tear the country apart. And what if the greatest threat to Canadian unity now comes from the west?John Ibbitson, veteran political journalist, and Darrell Bricker, CEO of Ipsos Global Public Affairs, join West of Centre host Kathleen Petty to discuss their third book together, Breaking Point: The New Big Shifts Putting Canada at Risk. The book is an urgent, necessary sequel to The Big Shift, where the political realignment the authors predicted – the movement of power away from the Laurentian Elite toward the West and suburban immigrant voters. Only now, the country is at a critical juncture where national stability is at stake – and Alberta is at the centre. They argue the horizontal threat is the refusal to face the fact that Canada is fundamentally a resource-based economy that has created deep regional resentments that threaten to pull the country apart. But, Ibbitson and Bricker say, the growing cracks in the country's foundation can be fixed, in part by radical federal decentralization, forcing the federal government to finally govern the country it claims to represent. • Host: Kathleen Petty• Guests: Darrell Bricker, John Ibbitson• Producer and editor: Diane Yanko

A CIA-trained Afghan operative—reportedly recruited during the Afghanistan War as a child into a U.S.-backed death squad—who immigrated to the US in 2021 was likely "activated" to carry out the Washington, D.C., National Guard shooting, likely as a manufactured crisis timed to justify nationwide military deployments.  Jimmy and Americans' Comedian Kurt Metzger argue that early media narratives blaming "radical Islam" collapsed once evidence surfaced that the shooter, Rahmanullah Lakanwal, had long-standing ties to U.S. intelligence, prompting accusations of a staged false flag.  The segment links this incident to a larger pattern of covert operations, predictive online search spikes, and past cases of CIA-connected actors surfacing in domestic events. Ultimately, they portray the shooting as part of a technocratic surveillance expansion, bipartisan corruption, and a manipulated political theater designed to keep Americans afraid and compliant. Plus segments on Trump's shocking pardon of notorious narcotrafficker Juan Orlando Hernandez, Candace Owens' evidence that the French government is trying to assassinate her and James Li's firing from Breaking Points.  Also featuring Stef Zamorano!

This week on the Low Meins Asylum Show, I had to get something off my chest… because the Pittsburgh Steelers just gave us one of the most embarrassing losses in recent memory against the Bills. The performance was flat, lifeless, and honestly stale. And it's not new. I talked about how this has been the same vibe for over a decade now: the same predictable mistakes, the same lack of fire, and the same “we'll fix it next week” mentality that never actually gets fixed. Steelers Nation hit their breaking point this week. You could hear it in the stadium and across social media as fans started chanting “Fire Mike Tomlin!” They've had enough… and honestly, I can't blame them. When the culture gets stale, the performance gets stale, and this team has been stuck in the same cycle for years. Tune in as I break it all down the disaster on the field, the frustration in the fanbase, and why this loss feels like the moment everything finally boiled over.

What happens when a community is stretched past its limits? Military spouses live in a unique tension: deeply tied to the institution, yet often left without a voice in its decisions. Their wellness reflects not just individual resilience, but the health of the entire military community. In this episode of Restored, Corie Weathers speaks with Evie King, president of InDependent, about groundbreaking research she co-led with the University of Texas on military spouse wellness. Their findings reveal the cost of compounding stress, the reality of isolation, and the essential role of community in healing. But this conversation doesn't stop at the data. Evie later came back to re-answer two questions — more honestly, more vulnerably — and issued a sobering warning: if cultural dynamics don't change, the system risks collapse. Together, Corie and Evie explore what it takes for individuals, families, and institutions to find peace in the midst of ongoing conflict. And why community is not optional — it is the key to survival and restoration. Find out more about. As part of our Hidden Killers 2025 Year in Review series, we're going beyond the headlines to examine the psychological machinery behind one of the most explosive celebrity trials of the decade — Sean “Diddy” Combs and the disturbing allegations that have shattered his empire. In this powerful two-part special, Tony Brueski is joined by psychotherapist Shavaun Scott to break down the alleged behavioral profile of Diddy — not from a place of gossip, but through a clinical lens. Scott explores whether Combs' reported actions align with narcissistic personality traits, psychopathic tendencies, and patterns of coercive control often seen in long-term cycles of abuse. From alleged emotional domination and financial control to threats, surveillance, and sexual coercion, Scott unpacks how power and pathology intertwine — and how high-profile abusers weaponize influence, fear, and fame to keep victims silent. It's a chilling look at how manipulation can masquerade as charisma, and how the psychology of celebrity can distort accountability on a global scale. Then, in the second half, Tony delivers a full breakdown of the most pivotal week of the Diddy federal trial (June 12–16, 2025) — a stretch of testimony and evidence that could decide whether the hip-hop mogul spends life in prison or walks free. Among the bombshell moments: Six firearms with defaced serial numbers found near alleged “freak-off” supplies. Homeland Security's discovery of AR-15 parts, drugs, and lubricants allegedly tied to a sex-trafficking operation. The emotional testimony of “Jane,” who confronted Diddy in court after describing years of abuse and coercion. Immunity witness Jonathan Perez, Diddy's former assistant, whose drug procurement testimony both strengthened and complicated the government's case. Kanye West's surreal courthouse appearance, adding a spectacle to an already volatile trial. And the controversial dismissal of Juror #6, a decision now under scrutiny for potential bias. Together, these two lenses — the psychological and the procedural — reveal the full picture of a man once untouchable, now facing the reckoning of his own creation.
