No, we never knew Kobe and he never knew us. But that is what makes his impact on us and the world that much more significant. He ushered in a new era of competition and work ethic that barely any has done before, if any. He was one of the greatest basketball players of all time as well as one of the most prolific athletes in history. Yet, he was so much more than that. A loving father, amazing husband, a friend to many, a mentor for those willing to be great, and a human being who genuinely cared about others. Rest In Peace Kobe, you will be greatly missed and respected.
