-Sarge gets flipped the bird after giving the person in front of him a honk when they didn't move at a green light. Who is in the wrong? Should there be multiple horns? The boys break it all down. -The OG segment Kick of the Week is back. Sarge is into Chickens... specifically chickens that are now at a farm he lives by... and he drives by them. So if you add all that up his Kick of the Week is driving by chickens. We might have a midlife crisis on our hands. -Bricky's AC Saga is on day 10 and counting. The good thing that has come of it is he discovered Acai bowls, which you will find out is basically an edible smoothy.
It's over 100 degrees in St. Louis and with perfect timing Bricky's AC decided to go out. The episode starts off with a 10 minute rant and a cry for help. (10:05) This weeks segment is "It's Called 5: Board/Card Games" Stick around after the episode for a hilarious surprise.
Surprise! It's a two for one episode this week. Bricky starts by previewing his golf trip to Paynes Valley before the boys go into Red Pill Blue Pill. Thank you to all of you who submitted ideas! We are working on getting them all into future episodes. Since the episode was short (because Bricky needed to go to the driving range) the boys decided to finish off the episode with a recap of the golf trip. Bricky talks a lot in this episode so if you don't like him you will hate this one.
Bricky has been officially banned from the Enterprise Center as his record improves to 0-5 while attending Wild games. The boys give there predictions on the Stanley Cup and you all learn why they decided to not be a sports podcast. They have no idea what they are talking about. The OG segment is back up in the rotation and Bricky has kicked nice clothes to the curb because he always gets grease stains on them. Sarge is caught up in the Prince v Rick James beef lol. Right when you think Sarge can't top his last story, he does it again with an all timer walking in on his coworker pooping... naked. Yeah, you read that correctly. It has been one full year of Life Thru Our Lens! We can't believe anyone listens to this and thank you for all the support along the way. The boys give some background about how the podcast got started, early bumps in the road, and the lead up to the first episode. They also talk about some of their favorite stuff from the first year. How many Sarges does it take to change a pair of headlights? Nobody really knows but it is more than one. The episode starts off HOT with a Sarge rant about Chevrolet... and apparently the French somehow got Roped into it. Bricky and Sarge are back with another edition of "its called five" where they do a snake draft of their favorite TV shows. This has a twist and they must take one show from the following categories: Drama, Sitcom/Drama, Competition/Gameshow, Reality, and Cartoon. Strap in for some dynamite analysis where they call every show "a great show" and Sarge adds the F word to all of his titles.
It is simple arithmetic, but 3 minus 1 does in fact equal 2. Unfortunately, Benny has decided to step away from the podcast so you're left with Sarge and Bricky manning the ship. The squad gets serious, discussing a couple hospitalization excursions. Sarge opens up about his ongoing battle with diverticulitis and the challenges it has presented in the past year. Actually, they are mostly worthless but could help you be a better DJ at your next party. The segment this week is "it's called 5" which to our knowledge is the first ever snake draft to be done on a podcast. The boys pick their favorite things to grill and we find out whether or not Benny truly loves grilled corn as much as he once claimed or if he is a complete and total fraud.
Sarge goes shopping and gets matching white shoes with his friend and pants that don't fit. We then learn that he wears foot deodorant because his feet sweat so much that he burns through three pairs of socks per day. The segment of this week is Two Married Guys and a Single Guy where Bricky and Benny discuss bathroom ratio's between them and the wives and we find out what Sarge is looking for in a lady. Things mostly go off the rails from there as you can imagine.
How do you lose a toothbrush? Just ask Sarge because he somehow did and he continues to give terrible personal hygiene advice. The boys discuss the proper way to shower before getting into the new segment "It's Called 5" where they pick childhood summer activities in a snake draft format. Prepare to have memories unlocked that you forgot you had. Also, Benny LOVES cup stacking.
Benny has to drop off his dog at daycare with mixed emotions. We find out Bricky has no idea what country music actually is and worst of all... he hates dogs. Sarge continues to have the strangest YouTube history of all time.
Irritable Bowel Syndrome is a real thing. This is the 1st glimpse of our new segment Sarge Stories about the time he pooped his pants at a K-Mart.
