During this time he earned his certification for Federal Firearms Instructor, Simunition Scenario Qualified Instructor and Certified Skills Facilitator. Jimmy has trained law enforcement on the Federal, State, and Local levels as well as Fire Department, EMS and Dispatch personnel. Sal believes sending Volpe down to the minors is the only way for him to clear his head and fix his mental miscues, arguing that continued exposure to the pressure of the major leagues is only making things worse. BT, however, fears that demoting Volpe could further damage his psyche and that a temporary benching might be a better first step, even though he admits previous attempts to give Volpe a day off haven't yielded lasting results. The hosts agree that Volpe's defensive issues, particularly his indecision on throws, are a significant problem for a Yankees team aiming for a World Series, and they also discuss potential trade targets like Steven Kwan who could address other team needs.
