This week, down the bottom Mirandes gave themselves a glimmer of hope as they climbed off bottom spot with a win over Huesca and Real Zaragoza finished yet another game with 10 as they lost to relegation rivals Andorra. Cuco Ziganda also got his marching orders at Cultural Leonesa where patience has run out and they felt it was time for a change. Fran Escriba got off to a good start at Real Valladolid with a point away to Sporting. At the top everyone in the top six won, apart from the leaders and their opponents Las Palmas who played out a dramatic draw where CD Castellon equalised with ten men in stoppage time. We will talk about the top six on part two of this week's show. Why wait until Thursday for part 2? Welcome to the Reinvention Roadmap mini-series during the month of January with Brave Women at Work and Jenn Smith, my friend and colleague of Flourish Careers. This series will run on January 15th, January 22nd and January 29th.Jenn and I were chatting the Thrive in '25 Women's Conference last summer, and podcast ideas just started pouring out of us! I told her that I was in this weird middle ground with my work clothes, for example. She told me that this was a sign I was in the middle of a deep career reinvention and that I had to pay attention! So, I guess my desire to burn my suits on my front lawn like the old move Waiting to Exhale was telling me something? In this three-part series, Jenn and I dive into the following:Signs You Need to Leave Corporate or Make a Big Change – that's what we cover in today's showHow to Redefine Success & the Power of Community in TransformationAnd the final show touches on Practical Steps to Reinvent Your CareerThese shows are shorter than my typical normal length – 30 minutes, but they are power-packed. If you have a deep desire for change in 2026, listen in and take notes! Here is more about Jenn:Jennifer Smith Jenn believes career success doesn't have to be at the expense of living a radiantly happy + healthy lifestyle. Before she became a career coach and HR consultant for heart-based professionals, her roots were deeply grounded in corporate America, including 15 years in HR departments at Fortune 200 organizations. Now as a career coach and consultant, she has had the honor of supporting thousands of professionals around the world by assisting them with discovering and pursuing career intentions better aligned with their hearts and spirits while prioritizing well-being—and she believes we're all the better for it.It's time to stop applying to all those jobs that...don't exactly get you excited anyway. Using a proven, HEART-based approach, Jenn will help you cultivate a better path, confidently pursue new opportunities, and find the place where you belong.

The question for the last 2 games - is it time for a change. Callers weigh in on if there's a change coming. Whatever is the decision, teams needs less mediocrity
Carl and Mike hit the Falcons report, and discuss what the last two games could mean for the future of this Falcons staff, and for Kyle Pitts as well.
What time is it…for you? I don’t mean the time on a clock. I mean the time in your story. Everybody experiences seasons in life. For many of us, as we grow older and approach retirement, the season whispers (or yells), “It’s time for a change.” Life may be telling you to slow down, to travel more, to reignite an old hobby…or something else. Today’s episode, like so many these days, was prompted by YOU. Many conversations this year have a central focus – time. The desire to make the most of whatever time we have. For us to pursue what we most want while we’re able. That’s why I constantly hear this refrain from people who have moved to Hot Springs Village… We wish we’d done it sooner! Let me try to help you figure it out. I’m going to end with these two fill-in-the-blank statements. I’d love to know you complete each sentence. It might be time for ___________________. The Bay Area was not kind to the Arizona Cardinals. Not only did they suffer their first defeat, but they lost running back James Connor to an ankle injury. BT and Sal are at odds over how the Yankees should handle Anthony Volpe's ongoing defensive struggles. Sal believes sending Volpe down to the minors is the only way for him to clear his head and fix his mental miscues, arguing that continued exposure to the pressure of the major leagues is only making things worse. BT, however, fears that demoting Volpe could further damage his psyche and that a temporary benching might be a better first step, even though he admits previous attempts to give Volpe a day off haven't yielded lasting results. The hosts agree that Volpe's defensive issues, particularly his indecision on throws, are a significant problem for a Yankees team aiming for a World Series, and they also discuss potential trade targets like Steven Kwan who could address other team needs.

Sometimes it's time to move on from a job, either because the environment is toxic and unhealthy, the job is not a good fit for the person's interests, skills, or priorities, or just because the person is ready for a change or a new challenge in their career. In this episode, Beth and Jane talk with Alison King, a career coach, job search guide, and former librarian who specializes in what she calls “Leaping Librarians.” Alison talks about signs that it's time to move on, other types of roles often pursued by library workers, limiting beliefs that often hold library workers back from new opportunities, and practical steps for exploring new career options. BT and Sal opened their show expressing extreme frustration with the Yankees' "worst loss of the season," citing abysmal baserunning, shoddy defense, and a bullpen that poured "gas on the fire." They passionately argued for immediate repercussions, suggesting Anthony Volpe be benched for a "mental respite" and Mark Leiter Jr. be cut, emphasizing the Yankees' long-standing lack of accountability, from player development issues like Volpe's deteriorating play to the front office's questionable roster construction, especially their continued need for a legitimate third baseman and their "stupid" philosophy of teaching catchers to "steal pitches" at the cost of crucial interferences.

Nattering E S2 E28 - Time For Change Ft. Torrey On this week's episode of Nattering With E, Season 2 comes to a close with some big news: we're changing the format. Going forward instead of having five different shows, we'll only have two, Nattering BOLA ft. Eric and Bauer, and now this, Nattering With E and Pals. The latter will not have seasons, and rather be a continuation of past shows Nattering With E, Nattering CHEL and Nattering Trades. Aside from this big news, Eric is joined by Torrey from Nattering CHEL to reflect on the playoff journey of their beloved Toronto Maple Leafs and a few other things. We remain sponsored by Visionaries Global Media. A lot of Colorado lawmakers got their foot in the door at the statehouse not through the ballot box, but through a side door, a vacancy committee. State lawmakers leave office early for all sorts of reasons — some get new jobs or retire, occasionally people resign amidst scandal. This session, roughly 25% landed their House and Senate jobs that way. But in recent years, there's been grumbling about the vacancy committee process, with many calling it “undemocratic” and saying it's time for reform.CPR's Bente Birkeland, KUNC's Lucas Brady Woods and The Colorado Sun's Jesse Paul dig into how the process works, why it's firing up people on both sides of the aisle and what kinds of changes are being considered.Purplish is produced by CPR News and the Capitol News Alliance, a collaboration between KUNC News, Colorado Public Radio, Rocky Mountain PBS, and The Colorado Sun, and shared with Rocky Mountain Community Radio and other news organizations across the state. Funding for the Alliance is provided in part by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.Purplish's producer is Stephanie Wolf.
