Pastor Matt shared an incredible message on being a hero maker. He points out that we don't need to long to be famous, we need to long to be an influencer! We are not the hero in our story, God is the hero in our story. Jesus values individuals, he leaves the 99 to rescue the 1, he sees the value in your life. He doesn't want you to be a "self-made" woman/man, He wants you to rely on Him and connect you to other people (get in a small group!).
This week we had Alejandro Reyes speak and WOW, what a message! Alejandro spoke on what he calls "The Grace Zone", he spoke on grace, that area of influence that God has for our lives that we tend to push aside. God gives us grace so that we can do something great.
This week we had special guest Angie Filip speak on the miracles of heaven. Angie encourages us to look for the miracles in our darkness and reminds us that we cannot manage God's responsibilities. If we really desire the will of God, we will give Him the control and trust Him!
