This week the Super Ghost gang celebrates Halloween by sharing their favorite horror games, movies, and TV shows of 2025! We also take some rough detours to chat about Casper the Ghost's fat uncle, whether or not Alien: Earth is good, and the one scene in The Monkey that set Aaron over the goddamn edge. Enjoy, ghosts and ghouls! BWAHAHA*insert lightning sound effect here*HAHAHA!!
With half the gang gone, Greg and Aaron step-up their game and chat about some gaming news, the highly anticipated Fast and Furious Umamusume crossover, The Best of Bar Rescue, Aaron's crippling addiction to roguelikes, and some sweet combos in Hades 2. After that, they discuss their favorite fighting games and pay tribute to the GOAT - Necrid from Soulcalibur II.
The gang talks about selling out and hiring fuckable personal chefs after a Saudi Arabian company buys EA. We also chat about Doug Bowser stepping down at Nintendo and being replaced by DEH-VAWN, our top 5 metroidvanias, HADES MOTHERFUCKING TWO, and Silent Hill F. We also hear Greg's final thoughts on Hollow Knight and Aaron's final thoughts on Shinobi.
10 years (and a day) since the Pirates were last in a playoff game – the 2015 Wild Card loss to the Cubs. Those teams from the three year stretch between 2013 and 2015 are remembered fondly – as they should be by some fans of a younger age. Should we subscribe more to the Paul Skenes mindset though? He wants to bring more than just a Wild Card win and a Divisional Series loss in 5 games to this city. The guys mentioned the double standard we have with the Steelers, who lose in the Wild Card round almost annually. There is no blaming of the fans because we should remember those teams well, but not THIS well, due to the ineptitude of the front office since then. Former MLB pitcher Matt Clement joined the show. The guys wanted Matt's reaction to the pitching matchup tonight in Milwaukee, which features 2 former Pirates – Jameson Taillon and Quinn Priester. Matt said you can compare those guys to other former Buccos that have found greener pastures elsewhere on the mound. The guys asked Matt about different philosophies in small markets that help those franchises make the playoffs. Matt doesn't see why the Pirates would part with Andrew McCutchen even though he's not the same player he once was. Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. Mike talked about the Joe Flacco trade, sending the QB from Cleveland to Cincinnati and in line to start this weekend. Mike was surprised the Bengals didn't call the Giants about either of their veteran backups when things were going south with Jake Browning. Can Flacco succeed in Cincy with the talent they have at receiver? Mike said the Browns getting something back for Flacco was the reason they made the move. The Ravens also made a trade yesterday, moving one of their few healthy defenders to the Chargers. Mike is a bit surprised that Baltimore is still the favorite in the AFC North. Mike speculated that Lamar Jackson could miss more time than we originally thought.
We're cracking open some cold ones with the boys and chatting about the September 2025 Nintendo Direct! Afterwards, Gerry makes a formal apology to Team Cherry and gives an update on his progress in Silksong. We also talk about bananas going extinct (RIP), Aaron's thoughts on Shinobi: Art of Vengeance, and for some reason we talk about Kinetica.
We're taking a quick pitstop this week to chat with Thrak and Bill about the Sega Genesis launch lineup! We'll be discussing each game and ranking them based on how playable they are today - alongside a few fun twists!
There's too many things to talk about and not enough time to talk about them! We've got BeyBlades, we've got Bloober Team, we've got JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and we've got rabies (possibly).
This week we're discussing some very important shit like: Lenny Kravitz's Laffy-Taffy shaped dong, what makes a game a Soulslike, how Aaron can't take anything seriously, games that begin with "H", and possibly making a choose-your-adventure game on the Super Ghost website.
This episode was LOADED with stuff. We're talking Metal Gear Solid, Firehouse Subs, the Crystal Dynamics layoffs, Hollow Knight Silksong, Dexter: Resurrection and way, way more. Candy Kong can still totally get it too.
The year is 2025 - Aaron is the last remaining survivor of the SUPER GHOST crew after Gerry, Beth, and Greg were taken out by robo-Young Sheldons. With the help of Dre, Steve, Darren, and the Carrie Underwood fanbase, Aaron will lead a mighty resistance to reclaim earth. But mostly we'll talk about candy bars, Vin Diesel movies, and gaming magazines.
Gerry is GONE, so Aaron, Beth, and Greg took this opportunity to chat about Pokemon, Digimon, Juggalos, and any other type of collectible critter under the sun! We must defend our precious baby boy, Calumon, at all costs.
The 8am hour of Thursday's Mac & rolled on with Matt Shodell, who covers Miami for Canesport & On3, telling us how comfortable Carson Beck seems to be, why the WRs are the position group to watch, and how the team should look in 2025; and later, the guys go over the teams that absolutely can (not) make the SEC Championship Game. "McElroy & Cubelic In The Morning" airs 7am-10am weekdays on WJOX-94.5!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The gang (minus Greg) has done their time in Horny Jail and have frantically clawed their way back to their mics to discuss a big ol' cornucopia of topics, like playing The Sims for 12 hours straight, making Lyme Disease sexy again, and how Beth still hasn't watched JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. BOO BETH. BOO HER.
Welcome to the very first episode of the new show (which is also the old shows) Super Ghost! Join Gerry, Aaron, Beth, and Greg as they chat about what games they've been playing and how great but not great Switch 2 is, all with a little Peak and Digimon sprinkled on the top.

Aaron and Gerry are joined by guest CGDannyB to chat about Ebola, Swanky Kong's new IPA, how Arizona is basically a myth, and all of the cool games we've been playing.
[DISCLAIMER: tried something new with editing, so this one might sound louder and different.] Christmas is coming early for SuperPod Saga! To celebrate, Aaron, Kate, and Dre each bought each other some sweet games on Steam. But due to budget constraints at SuperPod HQ, we had to stick with a budget of $1 or less per game. OH, AND GERRY RETURNS.
Aaron recruits Andre of Fine Time to chat about the latest and coolest racing game of 2025: Mario Kart World, as well as the return of Dig Dug, Oreos, and how Pepsi reigns supreme over Coke. How does World hold up against the titan that is Mario Kart 8? How open is the open world? When will Gerry be back from vacation? Answers to these questions and more in this week's episode of SUPERPOD SAGAAAAAA (read that last part in the Dragon Ball Z narrator voice).

That's why this week, the SuperPod Fellaz are coming up with some very practical uses for video game weapons. We're preparing for any and all scenarios that might require our expertise with sick guns and swords and stuff, which we have acquired from years and years of rigorous training (playing video games). We don't joke around about safety.
