The PACE Radio Network recently went "On The Road” to record a local Town Hall style meeting. This took place on Sunday October the 18th outside of Dude Cannabis located in downtown Marmora Ontario.Back in January of 2018 the Municipality Council of Marmora and Lake was given a chance to opt in or out of allowing cannabis retail sales within its borders. At that time they chose to opt out and because of this, no cannabis can be sold within the Municipality of Marmora and Lake. Dude Cannabis, a local pipe and bong store, has talked with people from the local economic development committee about adding the retail sales of cannabis to their business. They plan on talking to council but before doing so … Dude has set up a series of outdoor town hall style meetings. This will allow residents to ask questions and to voice their concerns. Dude will address these during the meetings and include the feed back when they meet with councilPACE Radio OTR goes "On The Road" to cover events in our area and beyond
