Sankcijas pret Krieviju. Ukrainas graudu eksports. Ieroču piegādes Ukrainai

Vienoties par sesto sankciju paketi pret Krieviju Eiropas Savienības valstīm bija ļoti grūti. Pēc vairāku nedēļu intensīvām diskusijām Eiropadome vienojās 30. maija vakarā, panākot kompromisu. Galvenais klupšanas akmens bija Krievijas naftas produktu importa boikots. Samita dienaskārtībā bija vairāki jautājumi, no kuriem būtiskākais nepārprotami – sestās sankciju kārtas jeb paketes noteikšana agresorvalstij Krievijai. Pasaulē visdārgākais steiks tiek gatavots no vagjū (Wagyu) šķirnes govju gaļas. Šādu steiku vēl dēvē par "karalisku". Pie mums to sauc par marmora steiku.

Tonight we picked up with Letter 51, entitled “Turning the burdens of life to spiritual profit”. Saint Theophan gives Anastasia some of the best and most practical advice and counsel here. He begins to teach her a method of reinterpreting everything that comes before her eyes in a spiritual sense. She had been struggling, as we often do, with distractions in her day-to-day work and so finding it very difficult to maintain the constant remembrance of God. Therefore, gradually, Theophan teaches her how reinterpret every day activities, extraordinary and ordinary, into a means of actually drawing the mind and the heart to God. Far from being an obstacle, when spiritually reinterpreted they become the most beneficial means of moving the thoughts and imagination toward God.  Theophan tells Anastasia to begin with home and the people that she knows in her every day activities; and then to do it with everything that she sees within the world and every circumstance she encounters. Gradually it will become very natural for her. At the close of the letter, however, he warns her not to spare herself. There's a certain wrongful activity that is afflicts everyone. We spare no labor on any matter except when it comes to that of salvation. This she must remove from her heart. The most important matter is our salvation and consequently it will be the most difficult labor of our life. But it is worth it.  In Letter 52, Theophan brings Anastasia back once again to the remembrance of God. He knows that he is repeating himself and that she is probably becoming fatigued. Yet he tells her that his repetition is rooted in the fact that this remembrance of God is the most important thing of all and all power is in it. What he explains to her in this letter is that she must do all in her power to warm her heart with ever deeper devotion and reverence for God. It cannot simply be a barren remembrance but that which is guided by the deepest feelings of love and urgency. She must pray and read until she begins to notice this warmth developing within the heart. Only when she sees this happening can she be confident that it will continue to influence her throughout the course of the day. This is what the Lord himself desires: “I came to set fire on the earth of human hearts, and I could not wish for more other than that it inflame everyone as soon as possible!”    --- Text of chat during the group: 00:29:07 Lilly Crystal: Gracias hermana @Ren 00:30:37 Eric Williams: I am still disappointed and saddened that the Church did not use closed churches as an opportunity to promote the Divine Office. :( 00:30:54 renwitter: De nada mija @Lilly! 00:33:35 Eric Ash: Mother Theresa once said, "the most terrible poverty is loneliness and the feeling of being unloved." What spurs people to take action? How do they decide to choose you instead of your competitor? Indeed, the online world, as they say, is already inundated with messages from different fitness coaches. Grabbing people's attention is just one tough act to do. How do you let them resonate with you? Showing your vulnerability is one key. On top of that, you've got to learn how to communicate your value. When that becomes clear, the rest follows. Anthony Marmora has eight years of experience in the fitness world as a coach. He's had the opportunity to meet and transform the lives of so many people. He created The FIT Room in 2015 after four years of in-home training and running boot camps out of other people's gyms. The goal of The FIT room is to change and inspire the fitness world, and all the amazing people out there looking to be healthy, lean, and FIT. They are in phase 1 of influencing over 1 million people by the year 2030. That's his why. That's his passion. The FIT room helps you reach your goals, starting with his help and of his amazing team.  In this episode, Anthony shares about his journey from being fit to fat to fit. There are so many lessons to learn from his failure to lose weight. He underscored the importance of a coach and an accountability partner. Sometimes we fail to live up to expectations. With them around, you are propelled to step up every time. You can never discount the fact the support system plays in your success. Have a good one that only has your best interest at heart to call you out and cheer you on towards meeting your goal. As with authenticity, vulnerability relates well with your audience. Show them more of that; before you know it, they will identify with you and choose you to journey with them in their transformation. About growing your online business, only have the growth mindset ever burning in you. Put in the time and effort. Give value and more value. That will see you through your business success. The pandemic has done its damage but has accelerated a lot of things in other aspects. That's for you to see the opportunities right there. Let your creativity work to your advantage. Consistency wins, is probably the biggest lesson that I've learned versus perfection   Anthony Marmora   What you will learn from this episode: 03:25 - How did he start in the fitness industry? 05:22 - What's the best thing about having coaches? 07:25 - What it was like training ordinary people other than athletes 08:36 - The need to show up 09:30 - What contributed to The Fit Room's success 12:32 - The power of a support system 14:49 - That defining moment for Anthony 17:02 - His fit to fat to fit journey 20:10 - The lesson in his failure to lose weight 23:56 - People resonates with authenticity and vulnerability 26:21 - What was the shift online for his fitness class look like? 31:18 - The difficulties that come with shifting online and how it turned out for the better 32:00 - The importance of communicating value and getting them to act on their goals 33:56 - Business lessons on how to earn from 3k to seven figures 37:51 - There has to be something more and not just the workout Connect With Anthony Marmora: thefitroomlife.com Facebook YouTube Instagram Connect With Gavin McHale: Gavinmchale.clickfunnels.com LinkedIn Instagram

Born April 21st, the youngest of three boys, Colin Amey hails from Dunnville, Ontario but spent most of his childhood in Whitehorse, where the cold Canadian Yukon did nothing to cool his driving passion to be a singer and songwriter. At a young and early age, Colin's early influences came from listening to the radio and watching the hits on MuchMusic, where the performances of Bryan Adams and Bruce Springsteen inspired his young heart. In the small town of Marmora, Ontario, at the Country Fair, three-year-old Colin Amey won Second Prize in the Annual Junior Talent Show, giving a heartfelt rendition of 'Delta Dawn'.   He continued to enter local and regional talent competitions, usually placing first, hands down. When the family moved and settled back in Ontario, Colin began a stretch of singing demos and jingles in a small studio, then released his first single in 1988, a pop power ballad “Gonna Last Foreve”, with a video to follow that received national airplay. The stage was set, and he began writing material to record his first CD, released a few singles that received some airplay and started on his way to being hooked on songwriting.  Colin eventually teamed up with the legendary Barry Brown (formerly of Family Brown) to collaborate on his second album, gaining radio recognition with two singles that included the title track 'What My Heart Don't Know' and 'If I Didn't Call It Love'.This radio awareness of his career garnered Colin two nominations that included Independent Male Artist and Rising Star at the Canadian Country Music Awards.Looking for new direction, Colin moved into the Greater Toronto Area, and began collaborating with Thomas Wade, Jamie Warren and also with Brian Allen who co-penned the hit song, 'What About Love' for the American Rock band, Heart. Colin continued to co-write with the likes of Dean McTaggart, known for penning the hit song, 'Birmingham' performed by Amanda Marshall, and songwriter Tim Taylor, who's written many hits with and for the likes of Aaron Pritchett, Gord Bamford & The Road Hammers, just to name a few.  The year 2006, brought the release of his third album 'Getaway' produced by award winning producer, Rick Hutt, with credits for his work with Tom Cochrane, Northern Pikes, Gil Grande, and Jamie Warren.  The "Getaway" record spawned half a dozen radio singles, including the title track, which was added on medium rotation at many major market radio stations nation wide. Over time, Colin continued writing with good friend, Thomas Wade and sang on numerous demos and recording projects, which eventually led to the formation of "Wade Amey Wade." In November 2011, they released the Christmas single, "I Can't Wait for Christmas" and donated all download sales to the Sean Hogan's Christmas Wish. In 2012, when Wade Amey Wade disbanded, Colin was free to pursue his solo career once again.  In 2013, Colin released a 5 song EP, entitled "Just Do What You Do" which included a remake of the mid 80s hit from Kim Mitchell, "Go For A Soda" which coincided with a video released to Youtube. Over the past several years, Amey has been releasing singles to radio and iTunes, including "Sunday Drive, Drinkin' Time”, “A Million Tears Ago”, and “Welcome To the World" which happens to be a very personal song about the very day his daughter, Ryleigh was born. With the current global pandemic, like many other artists, Colin is performing online shows on Facebook Live, and currently gearing up to release a brand new single cowritten with Hamilton guitarist and band mate, Darren Lachance. The track is entitled “Life Goes By” and will be going to radio in early July of 2020. https://colinamey.ca/https://www.facebook.com/ColinDAmeyhttps://www.allmusic.com/artist/colin-amey-mn0001936210https://twitter.com/colinamey1?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthorhttps://www.instagram.com/colinamey1/?hl=enhttps://music.apple.com/us/artist/colin-amey/83934322https://open.spotify.com/artist/67irjD3ABHK8fvIqnr4Ugp

As we proceed with the forgotten cocktails, I’ve noticed that it’s more difficult to squeeze the interesting background out of them. Often it’s just a couple of words smashed together and attributed to a new recipe. In this episode’s cocktail it’s an attribution made in honor of a personality that I consider less than the cocktail inventor. The cocktail is named after the Italian-Sardinian general of the Crimean War. He was a dashing European fellow, Alfonso Ferrero Marmora, climbing the ladder of prestige through his political career in Europe by saving dignitaries from angry mobs, serving various political posts in other countries and leading an army in a strange little war. A French chef from England hoisted a glass of this beverage in the man’s honor. Alexis Soyer left France before his career really took off, but when he arrived in London, there was no stopping him.  He quickly gained employment as a chef in a prestigious restaurant where he immediately began implementing innovations that set the establishment apart from all others, including temperature controlled ovens, gas ovens and water cooled refrigerators. He’s responsible for setting up the first soup kitchens ever in response to the Irish Famine and the proceeds of his book when toward hunger relief. He was a leader in innovation and charitable contributions. As a personality he demonstrated the reason why every group of friends should have a chef in their midst. After an evening of drinking, he would invite his friends to a cellar restaurant called the Cave of Harmony where he would make them a greasy feast of comfort food at 2 am. He was also remarkable in his outrageous outfits and his tendency to sing and dance when the mood took him.  He was popular, compassionate, motivated and full of life. Then the Crimean War began. The Crimean War, as I have learned, was a bit of a strange scene. Since Napoleon’s bid for empire in the early 19th century, warfare just wasn’t the same as it had been for millennia. The established methodologies had been shaken up and new technologies were also changing how humans were fighting throughout the 19th century. The Crimean War was the first war since all of the new developments and countries throughout Europe were eager to try out their new toys and strategies. It was an experimental war. Alexis Soyer had been developing technologies and strategies to aid in maintaining supply lines and allowing soldiers to prepare and eat food while in the field. The Crimean War was an event where he could try out some of his ideas too.  It was during this conflict that Mssr. Soyer became familiar with Marmora and so named a punch he created after the man. This is what Michael made us at the Brixton.  The ingredients were as follows: 2 slices lemon peel 1 teaspoon sugar 1/2 oz dark Jamaican rum 1 oz brandy 1/2 oz maraschino liqueur 1/2 oz white Jamaican rum 2 oz orgeat syrup 1/2 oz lemon juice 4 oz soda water 3 oz chilled champagne This is one of the best drinks we have had since we started the project.  It was sweet, but still approachable, being light with many flavors of cherry and citrus interplaying with the effervescence. Michael needed some extra hands to craft this one for us because of its complexity, but we all agreed it was simply fucking amazing. Rachel was scheming for ways to make this one at home. All in all, this was the epitome of why I enjoy this project. The drink was fun to learn about and created a window into the past I had not known before. It was fun to make with ten ingredients and numerous steps, it challenged the bar staff but only enough to keep it fun. And, even though whether I like the cocktail is the least of interest to me, it was a delight to drink. This drink will be hard to top as we continue.
