Pastor Mark preaches on intentional evangelism as a marker of a healthy church.
One of the markers of a healthy church is that it's a group of individuals who are pursuing a life transforming walk with Jesus. But what does that look like, how do we grow, and what does it mean to do this is a healthy way? We explore a few images that help us think about what it means to pursue this kind of relationship that doesn't require striving, doesn't require letting go of the outcomes, but invites us into a new way of thinking that requires risk, obedience, and discovery.
Pastor Mark preaches on 2 Timothy 3:16. In the Evangelical Covenant Church denomination, we believe that the Bible is the only perfect rule for doctrine and conduct. We desire that our people are equipped and growing in their ability to study and apply biblical truths in ways that leads to a scripturally integrated life.

Living a life of faith often involves asking a lot of questions. Sometimes these questions engage us to deeper levels of life and relationship, other times they throw us off balance or -- at worst -- create isolation and a desire to throw in the towel of faith all together. Nicodemus was a man with questions about who Jesus was and whether or not he was the Messiah; these questions led Nicodemus to confront Jesus. Ultimately, Nicodemus had to wrestle with bigger questions about what exactly he was going to follow in his life: a transactional religion or a transformational relationship.
Pastor Mark Hovestol preaches about what is needed to be effective as a believer.
