Stories of Strategy brings you a no-b******t approach to building an online business by uncovering the secret sauce of successful individuals in diverse industries. When you're starting or scaling a small business online, you are flooded with advice of different things to focus on - between SEO, In…
Are you were spending your days doing hundreds of thousands of social media posts, repurposing them into YouTube videos, posting on LinkedIn, posting in Facebook groups, doing tons of different things? You're in that content hamster wheel of doing what you're told, you just need to do to put out content. Consistently But if we are just marketing, marketing, marketing, it's often quantity over quality. A lot of times, entrepreneurs are putting really good value out there, but they are overwhelming their audience. In this episode, I breakdown the three criteria for why storytelling and story brand is so magnetic and allows you to do less work. Knowing your clients story allows you to capture their attention so that you can be really repetitive and be remembered as the expert. Your clients are tired of trying to figure out the solution. They are looking to you to solve their problem. A lot of entrepreneurs use story brand as a framework because it's human and compelling and narrative in nature. The main benefits is that it pumps out something that's single pointed, so we get known for something. When people are just catching snippets of your marketing they remember you. It is true service in your marketing, it's not about you, it's about them and getting your clients to understand we see their problem. We're educating them, we're helping them. Storyboard allows you to create something that is exciting, that is transformative, that is inspiring in some way. We get them to see something they're maybe not seeing. We get them to look, to imagine, and see their current reality as something different. The most important thing you need to remember when it comes to weaving storytelling into your branding is it's not about your story, it's actually about your ideal clients story. We're not even sure what the problem is, we often buy a new course or try a new strategy in the marketing realm. The reality is oftentimes, these are business problems.
