The Daily Crime podcast has been an absolute gem in the true crime genre, and it saddens me to hear that it will be ending along with its sister podcast, True Crime Chronicles. This news came as a shock to me as I was hoping to catch up on all the episodes I had missed during my illness. Nonetheless, I want to express my deep gratitude for the incredible reporting done by Will Johnson and Reed Redmond. Their voices are perfect for podcasting, and they have brought so much depth and importance to the stories they covered.

What set The Daily Crime apart from other podcasts was its focus on the victims and their families. Will and Reed always approached each case with sensitivity and respect, which made a world of difference. As a listener, I felt like these stories were being handled responsibly and informatively. The way they raised questions about all participants, including law enforcement, was admirable as it held everyone accountable.

Not everything about The Daily Crime was perfect though. There were times when certain guests or interviewees could've improved their speaking skills, as excessive use of fillers like "um" can detract from the storytelling experience. Additionally, while I appreciate the occasional repeats for important cases, too many repetitions can become tiresome.

Despite these minor flaws, The Daily Crime delivered gripping updates on current cases from all over the country. It served as an invaluable resource for learning about lesser-known cases that would have otherwise gone unnoticed. The use of local reporters who had covered these cases added authenticity and provided valuable context.

Furthermore, Vault Studios' reputation for excellence shines through in The Daily Crime podcast as well. The investigations were thorough, delivery was top-notch, quality was exceptional, and diversity in the stories covered was commendable. It's no surprise that Vault Studios consistently produces high-quality content.

In conclusion, The Daily Crime has become one of my favorite podcasts since day one. Will Johnson and Reed Redmond have been incredible reporting journalists, and their work will be greatly missed. While it's disappointing to see this podcast come to an end, I am grateful that True Crime Chronicles will continue. I look forward to more captivating stories and commend Vault Studios for consistently delivering top-notch podcasts. Thank you for all the hard work and dedication put into The Daily Crime podcast.
