Hour 2's “St. Louis Morning Brief” centers on a massive public backlash against proposed data center developments in Franklin County and the St. Louis region, where marathon public hearings stretched more than seven hours as hundreds of residents packed venues to oppose the projects. Marc and Kim break down the tension between local governments tempted by major tax revenue and residents concerned about strain on water systems, the power grid, and environmental impacts, with critics warning the projects could reshape communities without adequate safeguards. The conversation widens into broader economic and policy concerns, including warnings that AI and data centers could eliminate up to 50% of white-collar jobs and intensify long-term workforce disruption. The segment also highlights new Census data showing St. Louis has lost roughly 23,000 residents since 2020, raising alarm about declining population, shrinking tax bases, and whether the city could challenge federal counts to secure more funding. Additional stories include Rep. Ann Wagner calling for an FBI investigation into alleged USPS mail theft and check fraud tied to the St. Louis processing center, with reports of constituent complaints and missing or altered checks fueling concern about systemic failures. The brief closes with the sudden shutdown of the St. Louis Voices Academy of Media Arts charter school, leaving about 100 students displaced amid staffing and safety concerns, further underscoring instability across civic institutions in the region. Hour 2 opens with a heated, humorous debate over camping culture, splitting opinions between tent purists and RV “glampers,” sparked by listener backlash and rapid-fire banter that escalates into stories about extreme outdoor survival shows and the absurd limits of discomfort people will endure. The show then shifts into the St. Louis Morning Brief, where packed public hearings on proposed data centers in Franklin County stretch for hours as residents clash with officials over zoning, infrastructure strain, tax revenue, and long-term environmental and economic impact, alongside broader concerns about rising sewer costs, AI-driven job disruption, and continued population decline in St. Louis City. Additional local headlines include questions over USPS mail theft and check fraud tied to regional processing centers and a sudden charter school shutdown leaving families scrambling. The hour wraps with “In Other News,” covering viral chaos including a TikTok foul ball incident, a bridesmaid wedding dress disaster overseas, growing complaints about empty autonomous Waymo vehicles circling neighborhoods in Atlanta, and renewed concern over Britney Spears' erratic public behavior, tying together a fast-moving mix of culture, tech, and controversy. Former Missouri Senator John Lamping joins the discussion with a blunt, no-nonsense breakdown of rising distrust in government, arguing that public skepticism is justified as decisions around development, taxation, and regulation increasingly feel disconnected from local control. He weighs in on the explosive data center debates in Franklin County and St. Louis, predicting that despite packed public hearings and opposition, major projects are likely to move forward due to government and economic pressure. Lamping also reacts to the continued population decline in St. Louis City, calling it a symptom of long-term policy failure rather than short-term fluctuation, pointing to crime, taxation, and governance as driving forces behind the exodus. He closes with sharp criticism of ongoing economic development strategies downtown, arguing that incentives and tax credits won't fix deeper structural problems like safety and livability. In this week's Narrative podcast, Attorney General Dave Yost shares how his investigation had already uncovered criminals who billed for intensive care while they were actually competing in figure-skating competitions abroad or traveling on your dime, before the Daily Wire's exposé was published. Yet, even as the indictments roll in, a major shift is coming to the Attorney General’s office! After years of sparring with big-money industries and defending Ohio’s laws in court, Dave Yost has announced he is joining the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) as Vice President for Strategic Policy and Innovation. Tune in to hear about the "Wild West" of unregulated gambling, the fight for school choice, and why Ohio's AG is taking his legal expertise to the largest Christian law firm in the world. You don't want to miss this eye-opening episode! More About Attorney General Dave Yost Dave Yost was re-elected as Ohio’s 51st attorney general on November 8, 2022, receiving more votes than any other attorney general in the state’s history. During his first term as the state’s chief legal officer, he quickly gained a national reputation as a fearless advocate for the rule of law — or, as he puts it, “the same rules for everybody.” Yost’s goal is to “do big good” for the people of Ohio by protecting consumers, rooting out corruption, defending the environment, ensuring an open and competitive marketplace, and fulfilling the many other duties of the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. Yost began his public-service career as Delaware County auditor, later winning election as that county’s prosecutor. From 2011 through 2018, he served as Ohio’s auditor of state and, in January 2019, began his first term as attorney general. Yost earned his bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and law degree from Capital University. He and his wife, Darlene, live in Franklin County; they have three grown children and five grandchildren. Manufacturing is an important part of Vermont's economy. According to the state, about seven percent of Vermont workers are employed by manufacturing companies and those employees make an average of $68,000 dollars a year. But the sector is shrinking fast. Between 2020, before the pandemic, and now, the number of manufacturing jobs has fallen by more than 11 percent.Case in point: The infant formula maker Perrigo. About a year ago, it announced it'd be closing its factory in Georgia, Franklin County. This month, it kicked off that process, laying off 162 people. By the end of June, all manufacturing at the plant will have ceased and more than four hundred will be laid off. We'll work to understand why the plant is closing with Vermont Business Magazine's Tim McQuiston and Megan Sullivan of the Vermont Chamber of Commerce. We'll also hear from the owner of Georgia Market near the Perrigo plant about the impact to his own business's future. Then: Overdose deaths have declined in Vermont for three years in a row. Why? Is it access to overdose reversal meds? State-funded treatment programs? Changes in street supply? We'll break down the data with the state's Department of Health.

Some episodes of The Rizzuto Show are carefully planned masterpieces of broadcast excellence. This is not one of those episodes. This is a daily comedy show that starts with rainy weather complaints and somehow escalates into a complete societal breakdown over who gets to sit in the front seat of the car.And honestly? That feels correct. The gang kicks things off discussing gloomy weather, comfort food, rainy day naps, and why St. Louis somehow gets more rain than Seattle despite Seattle acting like it invented clouds. Lern reveals she made a full roast dinner because apparently rainy weather now legally requires slow-cooked meat and emotional support carbohydrates. Then things take a turn.Rizz introduces a viral story involving a mother, a girlfriend, and a front-seat dispute that immediately fractures the studio into multiple competing legal teams. Suddenly everybody has opinions about shotgun etiquette, family hierarchy, relationship politics, respect for elders, and whether yelling “SHOTGUN” inside the house counts or should get you immediately disqualified from civilized society.Moon attempts to establish constitutional-level shotgun laws from childhood. Rafe turns the conversation into a philosophical debate about passenger-seat power dynamics. Lern accidentally reveals she willingly rides the middle seat with her in-laws like some kind of family hostage negotiator. Rizz threatens bodily harm if children touch the radio. Completely normal stuff. The funniest part? The entire conversation becomes weirdly emotional because everybody listening immediately picked a side. Are you Team Mom? Team Significant Other? Team “Whoever calls shotgun first?” Or Team “Nobody deserves happiness and we're all sitting in silence?”Meanwhile, the show also dives into why modern kids don't even appreciate front-seat privileges anymore because they're all glued to their phones anyway. Back in the day, shotgun meant responsibility. You controlled the music. You rolled the windows down. You navigated. You lived. Now? Kids don't even touch the radio.Civilization is collapsing. The episode also takes a serious turn when the crew reacts to a brutal local story involving a Franklin County family being robbed immediately after a loved one passed away. The emotional reactions from the cast — especially Lern sharing a deeply personal family experience involving theft during a funeral — bring real humanity into the middle of all the comedy chaos.Which is honestly what makes this funny podcast work so well. One minute everyone's arguing about car windows creating weird pressure noises. The next minute they're discussing grief, family trust, and people being absolute garbage. Then immediately after that somebody makes a joke about sweaty truck seats and blown fuses.Classic Rizz Show emotional whiplash. This daily comedy show is packed with sarcastic humor, funny stories, weird family debates, relatable relationship drama, St. Louis energy, and the kind of unfiltered conversations that make you yell at your dashboard while driving to work.If you love comedy podcasts, daily humor, funny morning shows, entertainment chaos, weird news, hilarious fails, and the feeling of listening to your funniest friends spiral into nonsense before 10am… this episode is for you.And for the record: Mom probably gets the front seat. PA Headlines | April 14 | Shapiro and Democrats rally ahead of midterms; call 2026 a window of opportunity.

Governor Josh Shapiro is rallying Democrats ahead of this year’s midterm elections. Shapiro spoke to a nearly packed room of almost 400 people at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center. Several high-profile Democrats also spoke at the weekend event. Conor Lamb, a former U.S. Representative who also ran against Senator John Fetterman, says Democrats have a large window of opportunity this year. For decades, social scientists studying bias and prejudice have relied on Project Implicit, a nonprofit research collaborative and website where people can take tests to measure their own unconscious biases. Millions of people have taken tests on the site over the years. The data collected on the site has also led to many research studies. Now, the funding for the site is under threat. Pennsylvania's two major party gubernatorial candidates - Governor Josh Shapiro and state Treasurer Stacy Garrity - are traveling the country to meet with donors and fundraise. During the first three months of the year, Shapiro out-raised Garrity 10 to one. HACC announces it's eliminating 87 filled positions and 41 vacant positions. Steelton mayor Ciera Dent announced Sunday the Dauphin County borough is launching a new program to curb gun violence, following recent shootings. 14 horses died Sunday in a barn fire at Hanover Shoe Farms. Firefighters from Franklin, Adams and Cumberland counties continue to battle a Franklin County forest fire. And now a deep dive: Several states — including Pennsylvania — are in federal court over the constitutionality of President Donald Trump’s latest executive order to rework elections. Trump explained the order by repeating his often-discredited claim that non-citizens are voting en masse and in favor of his political opponents. WITF’s Jordan Wilkie speaks with Carter Walker, reporter for Votebeat, about his story of how non-citizens were registering to vote in Pennsylvania, and how current Secretary of State Al Schmidt led the charge to fix the problem. In this episode of The Narrative, Aaron, David, and Mike expose the radical left’s latest assault on children. David breaks down the chaos in the Ohio House, where activists in full drag regalia—backed by the entire Democrat caucus—demanded the "right" to perform in front of children. The hosts also call out the legacy media for its deceptive "experimental" labeling of life-saving abortion pill reversals and explore a massive legal hammer coming for Big Tech’s "addiction engineering" of our kids. Then, Senator Bernie Moreno and Attorney General Dave Yost offer profound reflections on the spiritual foundations of Ohio’s heritage. Sen. Moreno reminds us of John Adams' warning that our Constitution is wholly inadequate for anyone but a moral and religious people. Finally, AG Yost delivers a masterclass on Thomas Worthington, the "Father of Ohio," proving that a fearless, Christ-centered loyalty is the only reason for Ohio’s unique impact on the Republic.Tune in now or queue up your commute podcast! More about Senator Bernie Moreno Bernie Moreno was born in Bogota, Colombia. He moved to the United States with his family at age five and became an American citizen at age 18. Bernie purchased his first car dealership in 2005 and grew that one dealership into one of the largest dealership groups in America, eventually employing over 1,000 Ohioans. More recently, in 2016, Bernie recognized the value and transformational potential of blockchain technology, before it received mainstream attention, and moved much of his volunteer time and investment dollars into the space. Bernie believes that Ohioans deserve better than what they've gotten from Washington, and he will fight to better their lives in the United States Senate. More about Attorney General Dave Yost Dave Yost was re-elected as Ohio’s 51st attorney general on Nov. 8, 2022, receiving more votes than any other attorney general in the state’s history. During his first term as the state’s chief legal officer, he quickly gained a national reputation as a fearless advocate for the rule of law, or as he puts it, “the same rules for everybody.” Yost’s goal is to “do big good” for the people of Ohio by protecting consumers, rooting out corruption, defending the environment, ensuring an open and competitive marketplace, and fulfilling the many other duties of the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. Yost began his public-service career as Delaware County auditor, later winning election as that county’s prosecutor. From 2011 through 2018, he served as Ohio’s auditor of state and, in January 2019, began his first term as attorney general. Yost earned his bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and his law degree from Capital University. He and his wife, Darlene, live in Franklin County; they have three grown children and five grandchildren. Want to Go Deeper? Michael McKee allegedly told Monique Tepe he could kill her at any time. That she would always be his wife. That he would find her wherever she went. According to witnesses cited in an unsealed Franklin County affidavit, those threats were made during and after a marriage that allegedly included strangulation, sexual violence, and sustained emotional abuse. Monique left. She divorced McKee in 2017, married Spencer Tepe in 2020, and built a life with two young children in Columbus, Ohio.On December 30, 2025, Spencer and Monique were found shot to death inside their Weinland Park home. McKee has been charged with aggravated murder and aggravated burglary. He has pleaded not guilty. This episode explores the psychology of sustained threat — how chronic fear physically reshapes the brain, why normalization of danger makes escalation harder to detect from the inside, and why telling survivors to "just leave" ignores the most dangerous phase of domestic violence. Court records allege McKee surveilled the Tepe home in the weeks before the killings using a vehicle with stolen license plates. Surveillance video allegedly captured him on the Tepe property during the Big Ten Championship weekend, three weeks before the murders. We also examine how McKee allegedly moved through four state licensing systems over a decade — Virginia, Colorado, Nevada, Illinois — with expiring credentials, a malpractice lawsuit, and a process server who couldn't locate him, while no institution connected his alleged history of domestic violence threats to the licenses being issued in his name.Monique Tepe's story challenges everything we think we know about escaping danger.#MoniqueTepe #MichaelMcKee #SpencerTepe #DomesticViolence #HiddenKillers #NormalizationOfFear #SystemFailure #AggravatedMurder #ColumbusOhio #TrueCrimePodcastJoin Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? The probable cause affidavit in the Michael McKee case has been unsealed, and the details are damning. According to court documents filed in Franklin County, McKee allegedly stalked his ex-wife Monique Tepe and her husband Spencer for weeks before their December 30th murders—and drove 900 miles round trip in just 17 hours to carry out the killings. Here's what we now know from the affidavit:McKee allegedly entered the Tepe property on December 6th while the couple was at the Big Ten Championship game in Indianapolis. Surveillance video captured him on the property for several hours. Monique left the game at halftime, reportedly upset about something involving her ex-husband.Witnesses told investigators McKee had threatened Monique for years, allegedly telling her he could "kill her at any time" and that she would "always be his wife." At least one witness reported allegations of strangulation and forced sex during their marriage. On December 29th, McKee allegedly left his cell phone at the hospital where he worked in Rockford, Illinois. That phone showed no activity for 17 hours—the exact window needed to drive 450 miles to Columbus, commit the murders at approximately 3:50 a.m., and return.Investigators tracked a silver SUV with a distinctive window sticker to McKee. After the murders, fresh scrape marks appeared where the sticker had been. A firearm found at his Chicago condo was matched through ballistics to the crime scene.McKee was arrested 11 days later at a Chick-fil-A near his workplace. Michael McKee sits in Franklin County jail charged with the aggravated murders of his ex-wife Monique Tepe and her husband Spencer Tepe. The unsealed affidavit lays out surveillance footage, witness statements about years of alleged death threats, stolen license plates, cell phone data showing his phone went dark during the murder window, and vehicle tracking placing his SUV in Columbus before and after the killings.Defense attorney and former prosecutor Eric Faddis joins us to break down the prosecution's case piece by piece. Which evidence is most damaging? What would he build the entire case around if he were lead prosecutor? And where could this seemingly airtight case still fall apart? We examine the hearsay complications with statements Monique allegedly made to friends—that McKee said he could "kill her at any time," that he'd "find her and buy the house right next to her," and that "she will always be his wife." Monique can't testify. How do prosecutors get those statements in front of a jury? The affidavit also includes allegations of prior strangulation and forced sex during the marriage—abuse that was never reported to police or prosecuted. Can that come in to establish pattern and motive, or will the defense succeed in keeping it out?Eric explains what firearm specifications alleging a silencer signal about premeditation, why circumstantial evidence can actually be stronger than eyewitness testimony, and the one thing prosecutors should be worried about that they might not see coming.#MichaelMcKee #MoniqueTepe #SpencerTepe #ColumbusOhioMurder #MurderEvidence #DefenseAttorney #TrueCrimePodcast #AggravatedMurder #HiddenKillers #OhioCrimeJoin Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Today we have major developments in the Spencer and Monique Tepe murder case. An affidavit unsealed in Franklin County reveals disturbing new allegations about suspect Michael McKee's behavior in the weeks, months, and years before the December 30th killings.According to witnesses who spoke with investigators, McKee told Monique he could "kill her at any time," that he would "find her and buy the house right next to her," and that "she will always be his wife"—statements allegedly made during and after their marriage, which ended in divorce in 2017. Witnesses also told investigators that McKee allegedly strangled Monique and forced unwanted sex on her during the marriage. The affidavit reveals that surveillance captured McKee walking through the Tepes' property on December 7th, 2025, while the couple was in Indianapolis for the Big Ten Championship game. Monique reportedly left the game early, upset about something involving her ex-husband. Three weeks later, both she and Spencer were found shot to death in their Weinland Park home.Investigators tracked McKee's vehicle arriving in Columbus before the murders and leaving afterward. His cell phone showed no activity from December 29th until after noon on December 30th. He was arrested January 10th in Illinois and has pleaded not guilty to aggravated murder charges with firearm specifications alleging either an automatic weapon or a silencer. We break down everything in this unsealed affidavit and what it means for the prosecution's case.#TrueCrimeToday #TepeCase #MichaelMcKee #BreakingNews #UnsealedDocuments #ColumbusOhio #DomesticViolence #MurderInvestigation #AggravatedMurder #TrueCrimeJoin Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? The man accused of murdering Monique Tepe and her husband Dr. Spencer Tepe pleaded not guilty on January 23rd to four counts of aggravated murder. Michael McKee, 39, Monique's ex-husband, appeared via video before a Franklin County magistrate and waived bond. He remains in custody. Prosecutors allege McKee, a vascular surgeon, traveled from Illinois to Columbus and killed the couple in the early morning hours of December 30th. Spencer was shot multiple times. Monique sustained a gunshot wound to the chest. Their two children, ages four and one, were found inside the home unharmed. Columbus Police Chief Elaine Bryant has called this a "targeted" and "domestic violence related attack." Investigators say surveillance footage places McKee's vehicle at the scene before and after the killings. When multiple firearms were seized from his Rockford property, preliminary ballistic analysis linked one weapon to three 9mm shell casings recovered from the Tepe residence. The charges carry firearm specifications for using a gun and a suppressor. McKee is represented by Diane Menashe, who previously defended Dr. William Husel. Monique divorced McKee in 2017. She married Spencer in 2019. If convicted, McKee faces a minimum of life with parole eligibility after 32 years—or life without parole.#MichaelMcKee #MoniqueTepe #SpencerTepe #TepeMurders #ColumbusOhio #AggravatedMurder #BallisticEvidence #DomesticViolenceHomicide #JusticeForTepe #TepeCaseJoin Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? McKee Indictment Alleges Suppressor In Monique & Spencer Tepe Murders — What Prosecutors Have And What They Still Need

The suppressor allegation changes everything in the McKee case. Prosecutors allege Dr. Michael McKee used a firearm equipped with a silencer to kill Monique and Spencer Tepe while their young children slept in another room. That's not impulsive violence. That's allegedly planning the murders down to making sure no one would hear the shots. The Franklin County grand jury handed down five counts: four counts of aggravated murder and one count of aggravated burglary. Under Ohio law, proving "prior calculation and design" is required for aggravated murder. The suppressor allegation gives prosecutors a powerful tool to establish premeditation.Defense attorney Bob Motta breaks down the indictment. Why four counts for two victims? What does the aggravated burglary charge tell us about entry when there's no forced entry documented? And how definitive is the NIBIN ballistics match that's still being called "preliminary"?McKee gave police an alibi before his arrest. It didn't hold up. He only invoked his right to remain silent after the cuffs went on. Those pre-arrest statements could be devastating at trial — but Motta explains what the defense would need to argue for suppression.McKee is 39 years old. A vascular surgeon. No criminal record. No malpractice. His neighbors called him friendly and normal. He's facing a minimum of life with parole after 32 years. Prosecutors have not filed capital specifications — they're not seeking the death penalty. Is that strategy, or does it signal weakness? Motta analyzes.#MichaelMcKee #MoniqueTepe #SpencerTepe #TepeMurders #TrueCrimeToday #BobMotta #Suppressor #AggravatedMurder #OhioIndictment #NIBINMatchJoin Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video?
