For our 25th episode I thought it was important to circle back up with the man behind the curtain. The guy that engineers the Weird Grizzly Project. Without him it would not be possible. One of my favorite people and definitely one of my favorite chats. We discuss our recent explorations, my restaurants, fly fishing and much much more. ENJOY!!!

Well after a much needed break the Weird Grizzly Project is BACK!! What a great guest to have on. Developer, former professional musician and South Florida native. As most of my guest  have..Scott found our little gem of an area. It would be easier to tell you what we didn't chat about rather then tell you what we did. Enjoy this episode. It was a blast!!

Great chat with my friend and a gal that everyone in Blue ridge Loves.  Her and her soon to be Husband Daniel own Gnarly home builders and were  both born and raised in Blue Ridge. We cover a lot of ground about the roller coaster that is building a home, growing up in Blue Ridge and a bunch of other things. Super easy to chat with and a great person. Bethany really is a Locals local!! Enjoy 

I can't talk about my  time in Blue Ridge and the many ups and downs without telling the story that me and Bryan share. Our paths crossed several years back and it's not only an extremely interesting story it's very much the  fabric of our town. From the state of our market , the hospitality industry, and the future of Blue Ridge..Bryan and I cover a lot of ground and have an amazing discussion. Here's to our next chapter!

Kevin started and owns  Kevin Panter insurance. It was great to chat with a Blue Ridge local with such a cool perspective on the growth of our little town.  We get into the then and now of our town and I have to tell you its extremely interesting. We also chat about the importance of insurance,  local charities and a much more. I really enjoyed this chat and  we are very lucky to have such a great guy like Kevin in our town. 

From Cuba, to Spain, too Miami..We are thankful to have this local developer and all around great guy and his beautiful wife  in Blue Ridge. We get into all kinds of topics from politics, bison, business, and a hodgepodge of other things. An extremely appropriate and very interesting guest for episode 20 of The Weird Grizzly Project. I got to sit down with the husband and wife team ( The Gilbert's) who started the amazing charity..Freedom for Fido! They build fences for dogs who are on chains, kenneled all day long, and never have a chance to really run around and just be dogs . I was approached by one of their volunteers and I couldn't be happier that I got to sit down with these two. Another great chat with amazing peopleDoing good things in our community. 

Mulberry Gap adventure base camp is another great addition to this amazing area we live in. I get to chat with Kate of the husband and wife team who founded and evolved this little treasure. Whether you're into camping, hiking, mountain biking or trail running  you'll wanna listen to this episode and go out and see them.  Such a cool place and great people!

She's a beautiful Gypsy and an extremely talented artist with roots in Ohio, however she has been all over through the years and is now bestowing her talents on North Georgia. Through major ups and downs and even deleting his instagram, me and this guy have managed to stay in touch. There is no story about me in Blue Ridge that doesn't start with my relationship with Anthony, From buying my first cabin to acquiring The Black Sheep, we talk about the beginnings, the highs and lows of owning restaurants in a small town and much more. Her story is amazing and I learned so many things about her. We talk about downtown growth, being star struck, the art of baking, and the beginnings of what has now become a staple in our little town….. The Sweet Shoppe!!  I seriously lost track of time getting lost in this chat. 

Local custom knife maker and I have a laid back chat about his knife making craft, his journey to Blue Ridge, and much more.  Great to hear someone so passionate about their trade, the love of his bride, and his journey from nuclear security to small town knife guru! Very befitting that I got to chat my my buddy Ryan on episode lucky 13. We laughed a ton as we talked about his business, upcoming projects, water therapy, mountain biking, local politics and who the hell Bill Gates sidekick was. What a privilege  to sit down with a guy I have so much respect for. We got to spend several days together and at the end We had an amazing chat about Blue ridge, marketing, cycling, fly fishing, and much more. One of my favorite episodes so far. Sean currently heads a marketing agency in South Florida and also is a wealth of knowledge and is investing in the Blue Ridge area. 

I finally got to sit down with this very fascinating, humble and  talented guy to discuss his journey from his love of fly fishing to becoming one of the worlds most revered bamboo fly rod makers. My dog Tripp makes his debut on episode 11 as we chat about Jimmy Carter, fishing, creating the Oyster brand and much more. California born dentist turned brewery owner Jeff Young! This episode embodies what The Weird Grizzly project is all about. A cool story from an even cooler guy. We talk about beer, owning  a brewery, mountain biking, and of  course our amazing town of Blue Ridge.
