Saddle up everyone… this episode covers a LOT! We're getting into all the tea on Cadet Kelly, Agent Cody Banks, and The Lizzie McGuire Movie today. Due to the towering success of Lizzie, Hilary Duff was able to transition pretty seamlessly into movies. This is where we have to take a closer look at Hilary's parents, especially her mother Susan, who has been called the “ultimate stage mom” … but was she? In some ways, I admire her for being a trailblazer in terms of taking no shit from Hollywood CEOs and protecting her daughters on and off set. On the other hand, some recent revelations from Hilary changed this episode mid-edit when I felt I could no longer defend her mother. The drama continues as LaLaine (Miranda on Lizzie McGuire) exits the show just 6 episodes shy of the finale and also doesn't participate in the movie, another issue many have blamed on Susan. More on set issues occurred as Hilary was unhappy with the music she was given to sing (I use that term loosely) in the movie and the outfits she wore… but the it turned out ICONIC anyway!!! Or did it? Many prefer the show to the film… what do you think? However you see it, Susan Duff definitely was a powerhouse… for better or for worse.MERCH: https://ultimate-fangirl-apparel.printify.me/PATREON Subscribers heard this episode completely ad-free! This week on Love on the Pod, we're talking about Romance at Hope Ranch starring Alison Sweeney and Gabriel Hogan… and unfortunately, this one did not win us over.Join us as we dig into the movie's missed opportunities, flat moments and why this story never quite came together for us the way we hoped it would. Between the ranch setting, the small-town charm and the promise of a meaningful new chapter, this movie had all the ingredients for something special..but for us, the execution just wasn't there. We're sharing what didn't work, what frustrated us and whether there was anything at all that managed to save the ride. Orchid Bertelsen spent the last 20 years building a career that took her from a law firm in DC to the Gucci sales floor, through digital marketing at Nestle, and eventually into private equity, where she now helps beauty brands grow profitably. A first-generation Taiwanese American who grew up without a safety net, Orchid learned early that the path forward meant working harder than everyone else and getting close to the money. After 30 years away from horses, she recently returned to the saddle at a historic equestrian club 10 minutes from her home in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, and what started as a Christmas gift of six lessons has since taken over her entire personality.FIVE KEY INSIGHTS: Finding your way back: Orchid rode from 10 to 14, competed on the B circuit in Illinois and Wisconsin, then stepped away for nearly 30 years. Her return started with a walk past the Grosse Pointe Equestrian Center with her kid in a stroller and one question: "what if?"Horses as a forcing function for presence: Managing an oversensitive 17.3-hand horse named Bo has a way of demanding you show up fully. For someone always attached to her phone, barn time is the one place she's not.Building content with a system: Through Orchid in the Saddle, she applies her marketing background to create content for returning riders. Batch film on barn days, script with ChatGPT, edit ruthlessly in CapCut to 30 seconds or less, and let the data tell you what to make next. The gap the equestrian industry is missing: There's a disconnect between who brands design for and who's actually buying. From boot calf widths to men's sizing to grooming bags, the middle market for quality products made for real people at real price points is wide open.Immigrant grit and the cost of an obsession: All three voices in this conversation are first-generation Americans, and the thread connecting growing up without a safety net, building careers close to revenue, and developing a full-blown horse obsession is very real and very relatable.Orchid Bertelsen is proof that the horse world can pull you back in no matter how long you've been gone, and that returning to the barn at 43 with a half-lease, a TikTok account, and a marketing brain is its own kind of superpower. This conversation covers everything from building a content strategy on a barn budget to the very real gap in equestrian products for adult amateurs, and why the brands that figure that out first are going to win big. If you've ever thought about coming back to horses, or wondered whether your outside career could actually make you better in the saddle, this episode is for you.Follow Orchid: @orchidinthesaddle on TikTok and InstagramSubscribe and follow Horse People for more cross-discipline content and stories.

Frame packs purpose-built for whitetail are filling a huge gap in the market. Efficient packing systems reduce noise, stress, and fatigue. Packing out a deer is often easier than dragging. In this episode, we sit down with Gilles Dessureau, the Vice President of Exploration at Sitka Gold Corp. (TSX.V: SIG | OTCQB: SITKF | FRA: 1R1). Gilles provides a comprehensive deep dive into the company's newly launched 60,000-meter diamond drill program at their flagship RC Gold Project in the Yukon. Gilles outlines the strategic allocation of meters across the property and explains how the team plans to expand on the current 2.8-million-ounce gold resource (indicated + inferred). Key Discussion Points: The Rhosgobel Discovery: Approximately 30,000 meters are dedicated to the Rhosgobel zone, focusing on step-out and expansion drilling along a 1.1km strike length and testing the deposit at greater depths. Tungsten Component: Following high-grade crystal observations, the team is analyzing over 5,500 samples to define the volume and grade of the significant tungsten mineralization found within the gold system. Blackjack, Saddle, and Eiger Expansion: Allocation of 15,000 meters to further define and expand the existing resource areas, including testing new northern targets and high-grade zones at depth. The Pukelman-Contact Zone: A 10,000-meter program aimed at defining the structural corridor and potentially adding new resource volume to the project. Strategic Prioritization: How the company balances aggressive exploration of new targets like the Bear Paw Breccia while systematically upgrading inferred ounces to the indicated category.   If you have any follow up questions for Mike please email me at Fleck@kereport.com.    Click here visit the Sitka Gold website to learn more about the Company - https://sitkagoldcorp.com/   --------------- For more market commentary & interview summaries, subscribe to our Substacks:  The KE Report: https://kereport.substack.com/  Shad's resource market commentary: https://excelsiorprosperity.substack.com/ Investment disclaimer: This content is for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute investment advice, an offer, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security or investment product. Welcome to another episode of Friends on Horses Podcast with Emma Kjelson of Dynamic Equine. In this episode, Emma sits down with Katrina Chapman — founder of Lovas Equestrian and host of The Unbridled Equestrian Podcast — for a thoughtful, heart-led conversation about something that affects nearly every horse: Saddle fit. But not in the way you've likely heard it discussed before. Katrina shares her story — what led her to create Lovas Equestrian and why she was driven to design saddles that are highly adjustable and adaptable to different horse and rider bodies. Together, Emma and Katrina explore: • Signs your saddle may not truly fit your horse • How dramatically a horse's body can change over time • The hidden ways poor saddle fit influences behavior and performance • Why fitting the saddle to the rider matters just as much • How rider balance impacts the horse's physical and emotional state • What a holistic, kind approach to saddle fitting really looks like This conversation brings clarity to topics many equestrians were never taught — and invites you to rethink how equipment, movement, and emotional well-being are deeply connected. If you care about ethical training, science-based horsemanship, and supporting your horse's comfort and longevity, this episode will expand how you see saddle fit forever.

Scott Emerson, President and CEO of Kingsmen Resources Ltd. (TSXV: KNG) (OTCQB: KNGRF) joins me for a visual overview of the company exploration initiatives at their 2 silver and gold projects, Las Coloradas and Almoloya, located in the Parral District, in Chihuahua, Mexico.   >> To view the VIDEO version of this interview click below: https://youtu.be/GFGX6VW7thI   We start off with Scott sharing some of the background on how this company came together over the last few years, where he consolidated 15 mining concessions around the prior-producing Las Coloradas Mine to form their flagship Las Coloradas Project, and ensure that their land package has district-scale size potential.  After a few years of work consolidating the land, sampling and mapping, and reviewing historical data from Asarco, the Company drilled its maiden 3,000-meter reconnaissance drill program in 2025; with 12 holes that encountered broad intercepts and contained pockets of high-grade silver and gold mineralization for follow-up drilling. There are also a few compelling regional targets that will be drilled this year.   The company has raised capital to go after a 15,000 meter follow-up program at both their Las Coloradas Project and initial drilling at the Almoloya Gold/Silver Project.    Las Coloradas High Grade Silver Project   Step-out and deeper drilling planned on the high-grade Soledad and Soledad II vein systems Approximately 700 metres of the Soledad structure remains to be tested Significant discovery potential in the largely undrilled (1 hole) 1.7 km Soledad II structure New priority drill targets emerging at Saddle and Silvia/La Plata zones Multiple large-scale, largely untested targets highlight district-scale discovery potential at Las Coloradas   Almoloya Gold/Silver Project Initial diamond drilling planned on the gold-rich Juliettas structures District-scale CRD and oxide potential identified at Cigarrero Mine área Both projects located in prolific mining districts with geological similarities to major silver-gold deposits in Mexico   Wrapping up Scott highlights the financial health of the company, the closing of the upsized bought deal financing in January, continued support from key stakeholders, the pattern of raising money at higher and higher valuations, the ability of in-the-money warrants to potentially bring in more funds.  We also discuss the value in the 1% royalty on GoGold's Los Ricos North, which if purchased back would bring in more non-dilutive capital.  Scott reiterated that the future value creation will be determined with the drill bit, and the Company is cashed up well to execute on this exploration program, and will remain drilling for the balance of this year.     If you have any questions for Scott regarding Kingsmen Resources, then please email those to me at Shad@kereport.com.   Click here to follow the latest news from Kingsmen Resources   For more market commentary & interview summaries, subscribe to our Substacks:   The KE Report: https://kereport.substack.com/ Shad's resource market commentary: https://excelsiorprosperity.substack.com/     Investment disclaimer: This content is for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute investment advice, an offer, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security. This episode, recorded in January 2026, was recorded after a few of the ones you'll hear after this one, because this is our real "Back in the Saddle" episode. Rev. Dangler has been writing, and dealing with health stuff over the last year, and has picked up the #TendingTheFlameOfHope work in our current times. Rev. Avende is almost a year into their first term as Archdruid of Ár nDraíocht Féin: A Druid Fellowship (ADF) and a variety of new career opportunities. We'll talk more about those as we go (and there are some previously recorded episodes to touch on those aspects, too), but we want to invite our listeners to send in requests and ideas for future episodes, especially those of you who might have been waiting to hear about things we haven't gotten to yet, or questions you might have about previous episodes. Find Rev. Avende's book about raising children, Kindling Sparks, and Rev. Dangler's books about Divination, High Days, and Lunar Magic (and probably others) at The Magical Druid. There's a moment, in the slack tide between one flow and another, when a potent stillness arises, and the possibility of a new direction arrives with a feeling of invitation. It's like standing on the threshold of a dream. We share this conversation with Gregory Done as we metamorphize from the Wood Snake to the Fire Horse. What's in store as we enter a year of unmitigated Fire? Where is caution advised and where do you double down with the creative energy of the Horse?Listen into this conversation as we explore time-as-qi, what a dramatic handoff between years can do to the psyche; cautions around giving free rein to the unbridled “sovereign fire” of the Heart, and how discipline shapes intensity into something useful. If you've felt the past year pulling you inward, you're not alone. In this conversation we discuss the natural inclination to come back out—into action, into contact, into the bright problem of more momentum than you're accustomed to. Saddle up!

Before we dive in, we invite YOU to submit your Valentine's Day Little House character slogans in the comments on our YouTube channel! We'll pick five to feature on our social media on Valentine's Day. Be as silly—or as cutting—as you like. We cannot wait to read them. Now buckle up, because this episode is LOADED. Between awkward social situations, questionable advice, and peak prairie tomfoolery, everyone is learning (or very much not learning) important lessons about growing up, feelings, and communication. We're recapping "He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not-Part 1" and we're breaking down the romantic chaos, the side-eye moments, and why Part 1 has us screaming, “JUST TALK TO EACH OTHER.” Saddle up—prairie romance has officially entered its messy era.Spring arrives in Walnut Grove with big feelings and zero impulse control. Laura's dream comes true when Almanzo proposes—romance! hope! a future!—until Charles Ingalls calmly announces that no daughter of his is getting married before 18 (and honestly… he's not wrong). Laura eventually handles this with surprising maturity. Almanzo, meanwhile, reacts like an impatient brat who's taken bad advice from the manosphere, launching a sulk so legendary it's earned him a near-unanimous Reddit consensus as a douchebag (sorry, Dean!).Over in Oleson-land, Nellie's Restaurant is failing, so in comes efficiency expert Percival Dalton. Armed with charts and sheer willpower, he somehow transforms Nellie from “actively hostile” to “mildly tolerable,” which in Walnut Grove counts as a miracle. Elsewhere, Mary and Adam receive devastating news about Adam's father, shattering both their hearts and Adam's dream of funding the new school for the blind. But wait—there's more (and it's only Part 1)! Enter Houston, a smooth-talking stranger in Sleepy Eye who quickly learns that Laura, despite her youth, is a certified Frontier Shark. In what may be the fastest real-estate deal in TV history, Laura secures the old courthouse for the future blind school.By episode's end, Nellie is fully in love after one of the most iconic scenes of all time (yes—the eggs, the “short” jokes, all of it), and Ma quietly plays matchmaker by sending Laura to Sleepy Eye to clear her head… fully aware that Almanzo is already there. Ma Ingalls knows exactly what she's doing.THEN, join us on Patreon, where Alison talks to us about Percival himself, the beloved Steve Tracey!Links and Resources:Haven't signed up for Patreon yet? Welcome back to the Bourbon Road! The long wait is officially over—Jim Shannon has returned from his Dry January hiatus, and he's ready to make up for lost time. Rejoining Todd Ritter in the Bourbon Road bar, the duo wastes no time getting back to business. To celebrate the return of whiskey to Jim's glass, they've lined up a heavy-hitting "review show" featuring four distinct expressions that span the spectrum of rye and bourbon, followed by a chaotic science experiment at the end. The tasting kicks off with a unique offering from the Castle & Key Experimental Series Rye. This release is finished in Vino de Naranja (Orange Wine) barrels and clocks in at a stout 115.8 proof. It immediately surprises the hosts with vivid notes of chocolate orange and cupcake icing, delivering a "pop rocks" sensation on the palate that balances sweetness with a spicy finish. Next, they shift gears to a historic brand with the Old Overholt 12-Year Rye. A 117-proof Monongahela-style rye, this bottle offers a stark contrast to the first pour. Jim and Todd discuss its dignified, "elderly" profile, noting deep flavors of leather, dried cranberry, and peppery spice. It sparks a conversation about how extra age transforms the typical bright rye profile into something much drier and more complex. Moving into bourbon territory, the guys crack open a bottle from the future—the Elijah Craig Barrel Proof B525. Sitting at 126.2 proof with an age statement of 11 years and 6 months, this release brings the heat and the flavor. The hosts uncover rich layers of brown sugar, molasses, and stewed plums, finishing with a distinct note of red hard candy cinnamon that lingers on the tongue. Finally, they cap off the individual tastings with the Old Forester 117 Series: Prohibition Era Still Proof. Inspired by the "distiller's holiday" of the prohibition era, this 130-proof powerhouse is surprisingly approachable. The guys dig into its dessert-like profile, finding heavy notes of cocoa powder, toasted marshmallow, and a s'mores-like quality that belies its high octane. To close out the show, Jim and Todd decide to mix things up—literally. They combine all four expressions into one glass for a "Boo Rye" blend. Does the combination of orange wine finish, aged rye, and barrel-proof bourbons create a disaster or a masterpiece? Tune in to hear their full tasting notes, their personal rankings of the four bottles, and to find out if the final blend was worth the risk. Cheers to being back on the road! The demo stayed largely unchanged, capturing raw longing and emotional distance on the road—interpretable as love/absence or post-breakup yearning, with ambiguous references to “our bedroom.” Produced by Combs, Singleton, and Chip Matthews, it explores the dual realities of home life versus touring life across the 22-track album, alongside prior releases like “My Kinda Saturday Night,” “Days Like These,” “15 Minutes,” “Giving Her Away,” and the No. 1 “Back in the Saddle” (his 19th career No. 1 on Billboard Country Airplay, extending his record streak).Combs holds historic milestones: first country artist to headline Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Newport Folk, and New Orleans JazzFest; four Diamond-certified singles (RIAA record); two songs over 1 billion Spotify streams; highest RIAA-certified country artist ever (168 million units); and most consecutive No. 1s at country radio. Fathers & Sons (2024) peaked No. 2 on Top Country Albums, maintaining his streak of top-2 debuts. The My Kinda Saturday Night Tour launches March 21, 2026, at Allegiant Stadium (Las Vegas), with U.S. finale May 16 at Lambeau Field (Green Bay), plus international legs including three nights at Wembley Stadium (London), two at Scottish Gas Murrayfield (Edinburgh), two at Slane Castle (Ireland), and stops at Notre Dame Stadium, Neyland Stadium, Ohio Stadium, and more across Canada and Europe—many sold-out.With his third child expected winter 2026, this introspective release builds on Fathers & Sons' family focus. The Bowhunter Chronicles Podcast - Episode 384: Inside the ATA Show: Bow Comparisons, Saddle Gear, Optics, and Broadhead Innovation In this episode, Adam Miller and Brad Collings break down their experience at the ATA Show, offering an in-depth look at how the archery and hunting industry continues to evolve. They discuss the significant increase in attendance and how the show's atmosphere has shifted to feel more open, engaging, and welcoming than in previous years. The accessibility of pro archers and meaningful conversations with manufacturers made this year's ATA Show stand out.  With the addition of the Rushmore Rumble, a five spot NFAA tournament, it drew in many people who would have most certainly not attended as well as offered an opportunity to see some of the pros shoot. The conversation explores the growing influence of content creators and influencers within the archery space and how brands are responding to more consumer-driven engagement. Adam and Brad highlight the importance of research and development, customer service, and real-world feedback in shaping products from companies such as Xpedition Bows and Bowtech. A major focus of the episode centers on new gear and innovation revealed at the show. The hosts dive into bow comparisons, shooting experiences, tuning adjustments, and hunting performance while also examining advancements in saddle hunting equipment from Latitude Outdoors and Hunt Arsenal. They discuss how mobile hunting platforms continue to evolve, with modular designs and pack systems improving comfort, efficiency, and safety for serious hunters. Accessories and climbing solutions from Versastyx and Timber Ninja are also discussed as examples of how mobility-focused gear is pushing the industry forward. Optics and aiming systems take center stage with a detailed discussion comparing Hawke Optics and Vortex, focusing on clarity, durability, and overall value. The episode also covers advancements in broadhead technology, including Annihilator Broadheads and Speed Broadheads, addressing both innovation and concerns around reliability, testing, and real-world performance. Adam and Brad also touch on product demonstrations, highlighting how failures at industry shows can expose design weaknesses and ultimately drive better innovation. Maverick whiskey maker Chip Tate is back after a sabbatical following his acrimonious departure from Balcones Distilling. Now the master distiller for innovation with Foley Family Wines & Spirits, Tate has quietly been working on his first new whiskies in nearly 11 years under the company's Ampersand Spirits label. Dubbed Malus, Vinea, and Opimus, each one is a unique blend that challenges whiskey lovers with new flavors, and they fit perfectly with Tate's unique approach to making whiskey. Chip Tate joins us on this week's WhiskyCast In-Depth. In the news, Ontario Premier Doug Ford is planning to make good on his threat to pull the best-selling Canadian Whisky off store shelves if Diageo closes its Crown Royal plant in his province. We'll also have the latest on the Uncle Nearest receivership and a new report showing a decline in Irish whiskey exports in 2025.

What if your New Year's resolutions keep failing because they were never really yours to begin with? Most goals we set aren't chosen—they're inherited from magazines, social media, parents, or that version of ourselves we think we're supposed to become. That's why they don't stick. In this episode, Tony shares his decades-long "pushup obsession" and how Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) finally broke the cycle—not through more discipline, but by discovering what actually mattered to him. What you'll learn: - Why "socially compliant goals" sabotage your motivation before you even start - The crucial difference between values (your compass) and goals (checkboxes)—and why confusing them keeps you stuck - How to use lead measures instead of lag measures to build sustainable change - The "Passengers on the Bus" technique for moving forward even when self-doubt is loud - A simple 5-step "Get Back on the Saddle" plan for when you inevitably wobble With over 20 years of clinical experience, Tony explains why you're not broken—you're human—and offers a framework for building a life that actually feels like yours. Ready to stop beating yourself up and start driving toward what matters?
