For this months book club pick we read Things We Never Got Over by Lucy Score. Tell you friends and enemies about us!
We are back with the second film in the Harry Potter Series, The Chamber of Secrets. There is a lot to be said about this movie, the lack of Snape (we hate it), Tom Felton improvising for his character (we love it) and the plot holes (Kate finds them). Is this our favorite? No, but it might be our least favorite (we will rank them in at the very end of the series). Follow us on instagram and tiktok @twoleadingladies and tell your friends and enemies about us!
The ladies are finally diving into Harry Potter!! We are so lucky we have our own wizard, Kate, to help guide us on this journey while Ashley is really just happy to be here honestly. Our second pick in our Nicholas Sparks month is A Walk to Remember. Are there some cringe moments in this film? Sure. But there are a lot of beautiful scenes that we break down. We hope you enjoy this episode, next week we will have our regular episode a day early on Valentines day. Tell your friends and enemies about us
Starting off our Nicholas Sparks month with The Last Song. This movie will make you feel all of the emotions, although we have seen it multiple times it still managed to make us tear up. It's our final episode of Emily in Paris (for now)! We went pretty hard on this episode - between the fashion, the way Emily treated Alfie and how long these episodes were compared to the previous seasons. There are spoilers in this episode so if you haven't watched season 3 then we recommend waiting until you have to listen. Next month we start our new series and we are going back to movies, but don't worry we have more TV shows lined up for this year. We hope you enjoyed it! Our last movie in "The Big Three" is When Harry Met Sally. We get Billy Crystal, Carrie Fisher and a high maintenance Meg Ryan. This is one of Kate's favorite movies, did it live up to the hype for Ashley? Let us know what you think on our instagram! Tell your friends and enemies about us
Our second installment of "The Big Three" is You've Got Mail. We talk if Tom Hanks still seems like Forrest and Woody, Ashley's lack of knowledge of Dave Chappelle, Kate performing "Baby Got Back" for her family as a child and the amazing apartment that Meg Ryan has in the movie. We have one more Meg Ryan movie to go and we will end the series with the best one, When Harry Met Sally. Leave us a five star review and tell your friends and enemies about us
This month we are talking about Colleen Hoover's new book, It Starts With Us. This book had so much hype being that it is the sequel to It Ends With Us, Colleen gave her fans what they wanted. But did it hold up to the first one or did it fall flat? We tell some spooky stories, give our thoughts on the book and we actually get a little music number from Ashley (who doesn't sing on the podcast). We would love to know your thoughts on this book, send them in on our instagram @twoleadingladies. Tell your friends and enemies about us
We kick off our Meg Ryan Series with Sleepless in Seattle. This was a first time watch for Ashley but Kate grew up watching this movie as well as the others in "The Big 3". We ramble a lot about 90's fashion, how a child flew across the country and had the means to go to the Empire State Building and if Tom Hanks can play a character that isn't Forrest Gump or Woody. Leave us a five star review if you enjoyed the episode! Tell your friends and enemies about us

It's Kate's last birthday pick and this week we get a lesson on rock with arguably Jack Black's best film, School of Rock. This movie is feel-good, quotable and for one of us a little emotional this time watching. We are sad to see Kate's birthday month come to an end but we have an exciting November coming, with 3 more movies that Ashley has never seen. Leave us a five star review if you enjoyed this month! Tell your friends and enemies about us
Kate's third pick in her birthday month is On the Line. This movie is one that flew under the radar and isn't that well known. Does it have cringy moments? Of course it does, it was 2001, but it is a feel good movie. We talk about our favorite *NSYNC songs because that was our childhood, and if you think the Backstreet Boys were better you are wrong. Leave us a five star review if you agree. Tell your friends and enemies about us
