When your partner blames your snoring for everything. Dearest Not Doctors, Love the pod, need your help. Here's the deal: I snore and I think it's ruining my marriage? I've done a sleep study and I don't have any medical issues like sleep apnea, so using a CPAP machine is off the table. Sleeping in a separate bedroom is also not an option because we can't afford another bedroom. Sleeping on the couch isn't either, because apparently I snore loud enough that it wakes her up in the other room. My partner wakes up tired every day and lately my snoring gets blamed for anything that goes wrong. If she forgets a task at work? Misses an exit on the highway while driving? It's all because of my snoring. She tried wearing ear plugs, but they fall out. I've snored my entire life, so my partner's complaints feel like an attack on something I can't change, like my eye color or my voice. It really bums me out. I am well rested, so I feel super guilty about that too. I want her to feel good and be happy. I want to feel good and be happy. What should I do? I know this is a tough one, so bad answers are welcome. At least laughing about my situation might be nice. Global managed services contracts are experiencing reduced momentum as buyers display notable hesitation to commit to long-term agreements during a period defined by organizational pivots toward artificial intelligence. The Information Services Group reported only a 1.2% quarter-over-quarter increase in large managed services contracts in late 2025, totaling $10.9 billion, with full-year growth barely above 1%. While U.S. activity partially offsets contractions in EMEA and APAC, the prevailing environment is one of caution, shaped less by CIOs and more by business and finance leaders redirecting budgets to support internal AI initiatives and flexible operating arrangements. The growth in technology distributor activity in North America highlights increased market fragmentation rather than expanded service levels. Omdia Tech Services data indicates distributor billings grew almost 15% in 2024, reaching $16.6 billion, with over 72% of transactions concentrated among six distributors. Most billings originated with technology advisors, and both value-added resellers and MSPs contributed smaller shares. This shift points to a market emphasizing flexible sourcing—with more intermediaries and shorter deals—but raises questions about MSP control, as authority and accountability can become diluted.Intel's latest financial disclosures reveal persistent supply and execution challenges in delivering AI infrastructure solutions. Despite exceeding earnings expectations, weak revenue forecasts and admission of supply constraints resulted in a 13% decrease in company stock. The vendor attributed its underperformance to capacity shortages and forecasting issues, underscoring the risks MSPs now face in hardware planning for AI deployments. Additionally, the commoditization of key offerings such as Microsoft 365 backup and the automation of technology review processes further compress execution margins, reducing traditional revenue sources for service providers. For MSPs and IT leaders, these developments reinforce the need to reassess risk allocation, authority, and pricing models in client engagements. With execution becoming both cheaper and less differentiated, value must shift toward governance, outcome accountability, and explicit decision ownership. Delays or misjudgments related to hardware supply and service fulfillment present direct threats to project continuity and client satisfaction, emphasizing the importance of operational flexibility, active vendor management, and strategic repositioning of service offerings. Three things to know today 00:00 As Managed Services Stall Globally, Distributor-Led IT Buying Gains Momentum04:58 Intel Beats on Earnings but Misses on Confidence as AI Demand Outpaces Capacity07:27 As Backup and Reviews Are Automated, MSP Differentiation Shifts from Execution to Decision Ownership This is the Business of Tech. After surviving Disney motion-simulator rides that nearly ended me, I dive into a question that's been rattling around my brain all break: if AI replaces doctors… who gets sued when something goes wrong? We talk AI hype, liability, tech companies discovering malpractice culture the hard way, and why replacing physicians isn't as simple as Silicon Valley thinks it is. Then we get back to basics: how to actually take an eye history, what matters when someone says their vision is blurry, and how to tell when double vision is a big deal versus just dry eye. And finally, a real patient with sky-high eye pressure, surprisingly little pain, and a diagnosis I haven't seen since residency. It's a “welcome back” episode that somehow covers Disneyland, AI ethics, and Posner-Schlossman syndrome, because of course it does. Takeaways: Why AI replacing doctors raises a question no one wants to answer: who's legally responsible when it fails? The two history questions that instantly change how worried you should be about blurry vision. How to quickly tell monocular from binocular double vision and avoid an unnecessary stroke workup. Why flashes, floaters, and “curtains” deserve very different levels of urgency. A rare glaucoma syndrome that causes eye pressures in the 50s… with surprisingly little pain — and why it made this patient memorable. Send us a textGrace and peace to yall In seemingly a lost and angry culture living in direct opposition of God, The Word (Bible) and His beautiful principles on how to live this short life on earth, God says "He misses us" and wants us to remember when we first met him and knew He was real, felt His love and presence...He misses us and that indescribable feeling of love between us and Him. Let us keep God, His Word and principles at the center of all things and not be swung like a pendulum to the left or to the right, but meet in the middle with love and compassion and allow Gods Word (Jesus) and Adonai Himself do the judging, while He brings supernatural peace love hope and joy to any and all situations. Part 2 goes from definitions to implications.Bottom-up pain does not mean “it's in the tissues.”This episode is a recording of a live interview with pain researcher and clinician Asaf Weissman. If you haven't watched Part 1, start there—we laid the foundation: why pain semantics matter, how mixed messages harm patients, and why “nothing is wrong with your body” is an overreach. In Part 2, we dig into:What “always bottom up” actually means (and what it doesn't)Structural paradigm vs pathophysiology: why imaging often fails usWhy stress, fear, and emotions are usually modulators, not causesThreshold models: when trajectories may (and may not) be changeableThe case for neuroimmune mechanisms in chronic pain statesWhere diagnostics and biologics may take chronic pain care nextWhat role physios may play as case managers and guidesThis is the second half of a two-part series. Part 1 builds the framework. Part 2 challenges how we interpret evidence, scope, and clinical uncertainty—while staying anchored to what helps the patient in front of you.*********************************************************************

The two talk about the general risk of pitching prospects vs. hitting prospects, how there are tools today that give us more precision in our pitching evaluations and then hit on a few of the different pitcher archetypes available in the class. After that Ben gives a rundown and update on the upcoming 2026 international signing period, which opens on January 15. Arsenal and Liverpool cancel each other out in a game that never truly ignites — and the discussion turns quickly from the result to what it reveals. In Episode 160, the panel breaks down a flat Emirates stalemate that raises familiar questions: control without incision, deep blocks at home, and whether Arsenal's attacking options genuinely fit the challenges they face week to week. There's a frank debate on centre-forward profiles, the Havertz situation, and whether Arteta is still searching for internal solutions rather than answers in the market. We also dive into VARse, with a busy midweek of controversial decisions across the league, before switching gears for a lighter second half — including a bonus FA Cup Who Am I?, a Six Pack of classic Arsenal cup ties, predictions, and a look ahead to the third-round trip to Portsmouth.A strange night, a calm league position, and bigger questions bubbling underneath.Chapters:(00:00) - Arteta's Non-Negotiables Intro(00:52) - Immediate Reaction: Frustration, Context & Expectations(01:32) - Starting XI, Game Shape & Deep-Block Reality(04:38) - Match Stats: Possession, xG & Why It Felt So Flat(05:59) - Are Arsenal Too Easy to Set Against at Home?(08:04) - Gyökeres Fit vs System Fit(11:26) - Top-End Talent Debate: Attack vs Defence(13:09) - Raya, Gabriel, Rice & What “Elite” Actually Means(16:05) - Key Moments: Liverpool Bar Chance & Errors(18:04) - Martinelli, Bradley & Game Management(19:17) - Refereeing Frustrations & Game Flow(20:32) - Set-Pieces, Trauma & Anfield Parallels(22:05) - Table Context: No Harm, No Foul?(23:04) - Havertz Fitness & Centre-Forward Uncertainty(26:39) - Arteta, Midfield Balance & Internal Solutions(31:25) - PT.2 Who Am I? Send us a textHave you tried low FODMAP, gluten-free, dairy-free, or elimination diets and still feel sick after eating? In this episode, Alyssa Simpson breaks down one of the most confusing and misunderstood nutrition strategies in gut health: the low sulfur diet. This is not an episode about cutting out “bad foods” or following another restrictive diet forever. Instead, Alyssa explains why a short, strategic low-sulfur diet trial can be a powerful clarity tool for people who feel deeply unwell after eating, especially those who have already tried low FODMAP, gluten-free, dairy-free, or elimination diets with little to no relief. She walks listeners through what sulfur actually is, why the body normally needs it, and why some people suddenly stop tolerating sulfur-rich foods that are otherwise considered healthy. Along the way, Alyssa shares real client stories that reveal how sulfur overload and hydrogen sulfide activity in the gut can explain symptoms that feel random, cyclical, or impossible to predict. What you'll learn in this episode:When a low-sulfur diet trial makes sense (and when it doesn't)Common high-sulfur foods to temporarily reduceLow-sulfur foods that are often easier to tolerate during the trialWhy protein does not need to be eliminatedSupplements that may quietly increase sulfur loadWhy improvement during the trial is a clue, not a diagnosisHow breath testing can help confirm hydrogen sulfide involvementResources mentioned in this episode:Download the free Low Sulfur Diet Guide + 7-Day Meal Plan DM “GUT CHECK” on Alyssa's Instagram for a personalized quiz and free meal plans & resources to kickstart your gut healing journey.Check out Alyssa's FREE Masterclass “Why your gut still isn't better - the real reason you feel stuck here.
