Not for Cathrin Matchin, this ex award winning video game producer, turned Glow in the Dark Space Artist, not only used Kickstarter to launch her career as an artist, it's literally her direct selling platform. With billions of websites in the world, ranking on Google is not easy and even if you become an Amazon reseller, the market is pretty competitive. So should more of us be looking at Kickstarter to try and offer our unique product or service? She raised $289,000 in 30 days from Crowdfunders! With her compelling Kickstarter campaigns, some of the largest SPACE companies in the world have taken notice to her work and have now commissioned her to create massive glow in the dark space art. Was it SpaceX or N.A.S.A? She couldn't quite tell us with who just yet, but I think there are some big projects within Cathrin's pipeline. And guess what?!... Never did I think at first glance, that she had ever been on welfare or even worse - addicted to drugs. She had a drug dealing boyfriend and all she could think about was taking from others. The narcissist and addict personality had taken over her mind, body and soul. What and when exactly can this happen to us and why? Is it deep rooted issues from childhood? Karen's dad had wished that she was a boy, so she spent most of her childhood trying to act like a boy, believing that her dad would give her more love. It didn't really work. As an adult, she sought love and acceptance through men and sex and lost herself and purpose along the way. I can relate to feeling ashamed as to who you were or where you came from. I was a child of alcohol abuse and poverty. We all have a past and the life we choose and WHO we decide to become is always up to one person - YOU. You need to realize that you are not alone in the world of broken families, abuse, addiction, neglect or poverty. There will always be someone, whether a child or adult that may need to hear YOUR story, so they can be inspired to keep going. I got a chance to interview, Chris Hart - a veteran recruiter with over a decade of experience to discuss how trends are changing in the employment application process. For me, when I was an employee, I had never used a recruitment agency, however it's always intrigued me as to how it worked? If I was ever to look for employment, I don't even have a resume anymore...it's now a 'personal portfolio', so I was curious to find out what my resume should look like, if I was ever to enter the employment market again, and WHO should I go to exactly, for help in finding the perfect employer for me?
