Having celebrated his 60th birthday last week, Pastor Danny delivers a special message reflecting on his life up to this point, how he has seen God work, what lays ahead for him, DFEA, and GHBC, and some general thoughts on the passage of time and the progress of our lives.

Pastor Danny welcomes to the show his friend Daniel Fulenwider for a 2-part discussion. Daniel and his wife Erin are active members of GHBC, serving our church in multiple areas of ministry. In this episode, Daniel shares the first part of his powerful testimony. He went from being addicted to drugs and alcohol and going to prison to being saved by Jesus, getting clean and sober, getting out of prison, getting married, and running a successful plumbing business while being a dedicated husband, father, and church member. Daniel's story is so awesome, and we know it will be a blessing to many.

Pastor Danny continues his conversation with Cindy Asmussen, GHBC member, SBTC Public Policy Advisor, and SBC Board of Trustees member of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission. In this episode, Cindy shares about her work in the Southern Baptist Church, her conservative political activism, and what she thinks about key current issues, including how Christians ought to vote.
