Pastor Danny continues our series in the book of Genesis with a look at God's covenant with Noah after the flood.
We make plans for tomorrow—careers, families, success—but how often do we truly consider God's will in those plans? In this message from James 4:13–17, Pastor Danny challenges the illusion that we control our future. Our lives are brief, like a mist, and boasting in our plans without acknowledging God's sovereignty is both foolish and dangerous. Instead, we're called to live with humility, holding our plans loosely and seeking God's direction in every part of life. When we center our ambitions on Christ rather than ourselves, even our limited time becomes an opportunity to pursue what truly matters—God's will and His kingdom.
Pastor Danny concludes his conversation with Pastor Gary Hendrickson and Christina Cavazos, fellow staff members at GHBC. Gary is pastor of the young adult ministry, and Christina serves as both Gary's admin and the church's community outreach director. They finish discussing how they approach ministering to different generations, what is unique about the current generation of young people, and other related topics. He describes their counseling approach that involves sending or field churches, work with missionaries and indigenous pastors in regions including Africa, China, and the Middle East/North Africa, and plans to launch a care-and-equipping platform with dashboards, care notes, and training pipelines for missions, member care, and pastoral internships. In this message from the Greater series, Pastor Danny de Armas shares how God provides everything we need so we can live with open hands and open hearts. Looking at 2 Corinthians 9:10, we're reminded that God not only supplies what we have but also multiplies it when we choose to give. Every gift becomes an opportunity for God to shape our lives and influence the lives of others across Central Florida. Through stories of real impact and a call to trust God's provision, this message encourages us to see generosity as a way to join what God is already doing in our community and to experience the joy that comes when our faith grows beyond addition and into multiplication. Pastor Danny unpacks the peace with God that leads to the peace of God, a peace that steadies us even in life's storms.
