5 Lessons From The Journey of the Wise Men: 1. Trust God In Your Journey 2. Follow The Guidance Of The Creator Of The Heavens 3. Don't Give Much Attention To The Voices Contrary To The Promises Of God 4. Always Go Home A Different Way 5. Be A Giver But the most wise thing you can ever do? WORSHIP THE KING!
God leads us to worship Him. Those attached to His blessings are troubled when led to give things up for Jesus. Those attached to authority are troubled when taught humility. Herod, troubled and attached to authority did not act like the wise men coming to worship the King of the Jews. Following God, the wise men bowed before little King Jesus. Their actions encourage us to respond the same way.

When we, as a congregation, gather in the sanctuary to sing praises, let us do so with a profound understanding and knowledge of the state of our worship. The lyrics of today's magnificent worship song result from a vision granted to God's prophet:' I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. Above it stood the seraphim: each one had six wings; with twain, he covered his face, and with twain, he covered his feet, and with twain, he did fly. And one cried unto another and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory (Isaiah 6:1-3).
Since God is always reigning on His throne in heaven worship Him at all times. 1. Worship Him by beholding His majesty from the throne. 2. Worship Him by acknowledging His company around the throne. 3. Worship Him by submitting to the rule and reign of the One on the throne.
Psalm 45 is not simply a song about Solomon, it is a song about the True King of all Kings! Christ is the King Eternal and he is worthy. All earthly, all national, all political, all social allegiances, affections, and attentions being subjected to our first allegiance, affection and attention, which is our King and his Kingdom!

John 12:1-13 1 Jesus, therefore, six days before the Passover, came to Bethany where Lazarus was, whom Jesus had raised from the dead. 2 So they made Him a supper there, and Martha was serving; but Lazarus was one of those reclining at the table with Him. 3 Mary then took a pound of very costly perfume of pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped His feet with her hair; and the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume. 4 But Judas Iscariot, one of His disciples, who was intending to betray Him, said, 5 “Why was this perfume not sold for three hundred denarii and given to poor people?” 6 Now he said this, not because he was concerned about the poor, but because he was a thief, and as he had the money box, he used to pilfer what was put into it. 7 Therefore Jesus said, “Let her alone, so that she may keep it for the day of My burial. 8 “For you always have the poor with you, but you do not always have Me.” 9 The large crowd of the Jews then learned that He was there; and they came, not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might also see Lazarus, whom He raised from the dead. 10 But the chief priests planned to put Lazarus to death also; 11 because on account of him many of the Jews were going away and were believing in Jesus.Jesus Enters Jerusalem 12 On the next day the large crowd who had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, 13 took the branches of the palm trees and went out to meet Him, and began to shout, “Hosanna! BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD, even the King of Israel.” New American Standard Bible: 1995 Update. 1995. La Habra, CA: The Lockman Foundation.

This week we respond to one the most frequently asked questions about our worship gatherings.
Gen Z is walking away from the church in alarming numbers. How does God want us to invest in the next generation to raise up resilient disciples of Jesus, and what role does Sunday morning worship play in the discipleship of a child?

In order to be disciple makers, we have to first be worshipers. Sunday morning is where we come into the king's throne room and offer ourselves before Him. In this podcast series, we'll explore what it means to Worship The King, covering topics including communion, families worshipping together, choosing songs, and more.
Wrapping up this advent season, we look at how Jesus was born the true King over all of mankind. We see this week that Jesus is the king over our lives, over our hearts, and over the nations.
In this sermon, Pastor Clint walks thru Matthew 2:1-12. We see three responses to Jesus in this passage: hostility from Herod, indifference from the religious leaders, and worship from the Magi. How will we respond to the arrival of our Savior King Jesus?
Paul, in his letter to the churches in Philippi, received word that some were not getting along in the churches. So, he gave them a directive to help correct the situation. Notice that fixing our attitudes and relationships can only happen when we acknowledge Jesus as Savior and Lord (King).
