We watched a Russian (the World Cup hosts)crime show, The Method, we ate food from a French (semi-finalist team 1)cafe based in Tenafly, NJ, Brasserie, and we had a Belgian (semi-finalist team 2) beer, Gouden Carolus, from the Het Anker Brewery, out of Mechelen, Belgium. São cervejas belgas que não são muito fáceis de encontrar por aí, mas são boas e vale a pena provar. Na minha primeira loja, em 2009, já oferecíamos alguns rótulos desta marca e eles chamavam atenção pela complexidade, potência e, no caso da Hopsinjoor, a intensidade do lúpulo que na época não se encontrava nas cervejas belgas. Hoje já temos uma grande oferta de rótulos neste perfil. Aproveitei a abertura da loja Mestre-Cervejeiro.com Mogi das Cruzes para provar a linha da Gouden Carolus. São cervejas muito boas, que vale a pena provar. Sempre gostei mais da Classic entre elas, e apesar de todas serem ótimas, ela continua minha favorita.
