VIDEO GAME LOGIC. Burnham and Book board the ISS Enterprise from "Mirror, Mirror" and engage in a series of video game levels that leads to an exposition dump via cut scene. Is this a clever stop along the clue trail or Exhibit A in the case for Star Trek: Discovery being a live action video game? Shereese the Sci Fi Savage helps Bryan investigate. The grades begin at (36:20).
Finally, Moll and L'ak are finally caught. L'ak is still in pretty bad shape after the fisticuffs on the ISS Enterprise. When they are brought to Federation HQ on Discovery, it is just as a "primarch" of the Breen Imperium is headed there to collect the prisoners and their blood-bounty (see: "erigah"). Culber races to heal L'ak. Adira and Tilly (with the help of Commander Reno) begin to decipher the location of the final clue. President T'rina is in charge of diplomacy as the Breen make contact with the Federation for the first time since The Burn. And Raynor is hiding something about his past. Should work out just fine... It's the SEASON FINALE! This week the first season of Discovering Star Trek gets wrapped up in a dark and inappropriate bow as our stalwart podcasters embark on a journey through the looking glass into the mirror universe. Archer and the crew of the ISS Enterprise go on a quest to find the USS Defiant from last week's episode, and along the way they learn a little something about each other. This two parter is from season 4 of Enterprise and is aptly named "In a Mirror, Darkly." It's been a long road, gettin' from there to here, but we made it. Thanks for listening everyone!Episode 15 - In a Podcast, Darkly

Shadows of Tyranny. The Mirror Universe, despite being visited only eight times on screen—with most of those on Deep Space Nine—is a fan favorite. The classic episode "Mirror, Mirror" has been hard to top in terms of sheer fun and intrigue, but TOS never told us what happened once Mirror Kirk returned to the ISS Enterprise. That story has been left for novelists and screenwriters to pick up on the fan side, and many have done so with fascinating takes on the Terran Empire. But while the story has been told before, there are always new ideas to be explored. In this episode of Continuing Mission we're joined by Mathieu Blondin and Sebastian Prooth to learn more about their upcoming audio drama, Star Trek: Shadows of Tyranny, which picks up where "Mirror, Mirror" left off as it tells the story of how Spock goes on to lead the Empire. Star Trek Continues premieres "Fairest of Them All" The long awaited third episode of Star Trek Continues has finally been unveiled on June 15 at Supanova in Syndey. Returing to the Mirror Universe, "Fairest of Them All," follows up immediately after the Original Series episode "Mirror, Mirror" and tells the story of what happened aboard the ISS Enterprise when the mirror landing party returned to the ship. Abandoned Abramsverse horses and fish come out to play We only spent a short time on Nibiru at the beginning of Star Trek Into Darkness. And while the scenes were memorable, there was much more in the works that got nixed for time and budget. Alfonso De La Torre, a conceptual illustrator who worked on the film, has released images that he created for Into Darkness showing several creatures native to Nibiru, including a horse, insect, and some fish.
