First time on decks as a dj was in a small bar call it "Keoma" and was a funny night cause the electricity fails for more than 5 minutes during his set. Then have some tiny gigs in random places around Athens and during the years at mid 2010 meet up with :Elektrik Dreams Music" label of Kosmas Katimertzis aka Analogtrip and start to have several gigs at Loop Bar which is the temple for electronic music in Athens, after that everythings starts for him and during the summer of 2011 have the residency of beach club call it "Tifes" there Pano have the opportunity to play along with well known djs and producer of Greek electronica scene as Cj Jeff/Thodoris Triantafillou/G-Pal/Cleopatra/Christo-Z and many more His sound these days is between Tribal/House/Techno After much consideration his first EP released under EDM Underground call it "Beautiful Fake World" related to people living in their own beautiful but fake world. The opening night of the Feminist Writers Festival, at Loop Bar in Melbourne, was a sell out event "Legacy Books: Their Impact, Their Legacy, Our Future" With Evelyn Araluen, Alison Croggon, Alison Evans, Ann-Marie Priest and Jamila Rizvi, presented by Foong Ling Kong. Revealing a surprising collection of books, this session was a delightful reminder that a legacy book can be pretty much anything, as long as it connects with, unlocks and transforms a person.Go to www.writes4women.com for a complete list of the books mentioned in this episode. ** Content warning crude language and adult concepts**SHOWNOTES: FEMINIST WRITERS FESTIVALWeb: www.feministwritersfestival.comFacebook / Twitter: @feministwritersfestWRITES4WOMENWeb: www.writes4women.comFacebook: @writes4womenTwitter / Instagram: @w4wpodcastPAMELA COOKWeb: www.pamelacook.com.auFacebook: @pamelacookauthorTwitter: @PamelaCookAUKEL BUTLERFacebook / Twitter: @KelButlerALISON CROGGONWeb: www.alisoncroggon.comFacebook: @alisoncrogganbooksTwitter: @alisoncroggonEVELYN ARALUEN Facebook / Twitter: @evelynaraluenALISON EVANSWeb: https://alisonwritesthings.comFacebook: @alisonwritesthingsTwitter: @_budgieJAMILA RIZVIWeb: www.jamilarizvi.com.auFacebook: @jamilarizvionlineTwitter: @jamilarizvi

What is it about lanes? What stories did you conjure up when your curious eye peered through the cracks of rusted corrugated back fences? What feet did you imagine trampled on bluestone surfaces?Lanes by Helena Spyrou Lanes is a remembrance of my teenage hood where I spent a lot of time walking through the lanes of Carlton in the early 1970s. I wrote the first draft of this piece in 1999 in a workshop with Arnold Zable that explored our relationships to cities. I was so pleased when it was later published in Meanjin (Vol 60, Issue 1, 2001). - Helena Spyrou Helena Spyrou is of Cypriot and Greek heritage. She is a writer of non-fiction, literary fiction and poetry. Her work has appeared in literary journals, including Meanjin, Going Down Swinging and Visible Ink.
