Mark Millar c'est un des scénariste phare du Marvel des années 2000, on lui doit beaucoup de très bon titres de cette époque comme Old Man Logan ou Civil War. Mais il est capable du meilleur comme du pire comme Kick Ass 2 ou Kingsman.Dans l'équipe on se méfie un peu quand on voit son nom accolé à un projet mais The Magic Order est une réussite.C'est une histoire de famille de magiciens qui doivent protéger le monde de l’indicible, le scénariste écossais a réussi à construit un univers qui se tiens vraiment bien et un récit qui se lit très vite.Sublimé par les dessins du frenchy Olivier Coipel qui malgré un trait très mainstream a vraiment réussi à développer son propre trait.
