Letters from Elizabeth Carrie Pierce Have you ever experienced a sudden life change that involved losing someone you love? I know many people who have been married for 30, 40, 45 years and then, one of them passes away. That can be a lonely, very lonely road for the surviving spouse to travel. Our guest today has cofounded a publishing house that caters to authors who want to know their conservative or traditional values will not be censored or changed. Morgan Pierce Media and Publishing Company, in addition to catering to authors of children's book with wholesome stories that everyone can enjoy – also has a very special subscription newsletter service. It is called, “Letters from Elizabeth.” These letters are sent out to subscribers every two weeks, to women over the age of 50, who suddenly find themselves alone. These letters are full of stories, insights, tips and recommendations for special products and also have thought provoking quotes, quips and a good recipe every now and then. Amen! This sounds like the perfect gift for someone whom you may know that is lonely right now…suffering right now… needing something like this – right now. Amen! Help me welcome to the program, Carrie Pierce, co-director of Morgan Pierce Media and Publishing Company. She is also an author herself, having published the children's book “Abby Apple Tree” and others. Carrie, it is such a blessing to have you on the program today! I love what you're doing here… but before we get into that, let's start with this question first. Other than that brief information, can you tell us in your own words, “Who is Carrie Pierce?” You have been writing for over 20 years. How and why did you get started doing what you do now with Morgan Pierce? What kind of services does your publishing company offer? What kind of authors do you serve? Both men and women? I want to jump into this letter service, “Letters from Elizabeth.” Explain the reasoning why you started this subscription service and who does it serve? I briefly went over some of the content in the letters during the introduction. Can you share more? If someone reaches out to you, wanting to subscribe to “Letters from Elizabeth,” Is there a vetting process…? How do you vet them to make sure of their age, etc.? I read some of the great testimonies you received. Can you give us an overview of what most of them have to say? Your publishing company boldly declares that you do not edit or suppress conservative or traditional views. Why do you believe that is important to share with those coming to visit your website? What is the typical author demographic that wants to work with

The 5 to 8 Shift with Susannah McMonagle, a podcast for parents
We did something a little different for this episode - and we really like the way it turned out! Instead of interviewing a parent with a great story or some valuable tips for parenthood - we decided to look at the other side of the equation. We asked five young adults to share their perspectives on their parents, family life, technology, and so much more. In this episode, Susannah interviews five of her students from Eastern University, including: Claudia Glover, Morgan Pierce, Darryl MacKey, Stephen Sattanino, and Milan Sharma. Parents will find this episode valuable because these young adults share some important pieces of the adolescent experience that may make parents pause and consider what they are being intentional about in their parenthood journey. We discuss things parents worry about that they don't need to, what role technology (namely social media) has played in their self identity, the impact of distracted parenting, and the best values instilled in them by their parents. This conversation is both light-hearted and thought-provoking - reminding parents that most of us are doing much better than we think. Connect with Us! Visual Edit Here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzmelHVm7H8&t=183s In this episode, Join Team EI as they discuss Viral Youtube couple De'arra and Ken and the recent cheating controversy. De'arra Taylor and Ken Walker are a popular YouTube couple, collectively known as ‘De'arra & Ken 4 Life' on Youtube. Fans were shocked when a video of Ken Walker seemingly cozying up to another woman–who's not his fiancee De'arra– hit the internet. Ken was spotted out in these streets with a woman in a parking lot. In the video, Ken is seen slightly touching the girl's booty. DK4L fans quickly started researching to find more out on The mystery women in the video which turned out to be Instagram Model Morgan Pierce. The plot thickens, as this woman is married, and the husband, Elijah Pierce put her on blast for not seeing their daughter in weeks. Adding to that, the husband says he is divorcing her. “I met the girl an hour before that video at the lounge because we were all in the same area celebrating the same thing,” Ken explains. “We had a BRIEF introduction in the lounge which started by her saying ‘hey, I know who you are'. She wasn't the first person nor the last to say that to me and everybody around me knows that.” Ken goes on to explain that they all left the lounge and “there was zero flirting involved.” In addition to Ken's apology, Morgan Pierce also issued an apology of her own. She corroborated Ken's story that they never flirted, and made it clear that she's not trying to get in the middle of Ken and De'arra's relationship. “Lemme start by apologizing to Ken and De'arra. Had no type intentions of ruining a relationship. We were literally in the club, everyone left at the same time,” Morgan began in her post “We had a very brief conversation, we were not flirting,” Pierce clarified. “We have not had any conversation before or after the video came out. In the video, we hugged and then he touched my butt,” she admitted. “If you continue to watch, I stepped back and leaned on the car. I was not rubbing on him. I didn't go home with him didn't even go to his car,” Morgan added. Many feel that De'arra could flourish with a Youtube show of her own. Rihanna added De'arra to her growing list of Savage x Fenty ambassadors. Viral YouTuber and influencer De'arra Taylor of De'arra & Ken 4 Life announced December 2019 that she too is now a representative of the exploding lingerie brand. Also discussed in this episode is the recent relationship twists of Cardi B and Offset. Cardi B filed for divorce and asked for "primary physical custody" of the couple's two-year-old daughter, Kulture. Only to rekindle their romance during Cardi B's 28th birthday celebrations.
