V okviru Evropska prestolnice kulture GO!2025 je maja potekal literarno-plesni dogodek, ki so ga ustvarili: pisateljica Maja Haderlap, plesalka Leonie Humitsch in skladatelj Benny Omerzell. Dogodek je bil sprva načrtovan v na novo postavljeni kupoli Ingeborg Bachmann, a je bil zaradi slabega vremena prestavljen v dvorano Mestne občine Nova Gorica, vsebina pa je močno povezana s pisateljico Ingeborg Bachmann. Maja Haderlap je na tem dogodku predstavila svoj novi roman Nachtfrauen – Ženske v temi, ki je teden dni pred tem izšel pri založbi Goga v prevodu Štefana Vevarja. Zamejski Slovenci so v ospredju letošnjih Tednov ljubiteljske kulture. Slogan Brezmejni kulturni prostor so izbrali v duhu Evropske prestolnice kulture v obeh Goricah. Odprtje bo potekalo v Slovenj Gradcu, za ambasadorja pa so izbrali upokojenega etnomuzikologa in profesorja z avstrijske Koroške Engelberta Logarja. Na novinarski konferenci je predstavil razmeroma živahno ljubiteljsko kulturno dogajanje na avstrijskem Koroškem, ki večinoma poteka prek različnih društev, zvez in dogodkov. To je tista vrv, ki se je držimo. Če bomo izpustili to, bomo izgubili tudi jezik, je prepričan. Izpostavil je tudi pomen čezmejnega sodelovanja na prireditvah in z društvi v Sloveniji ter tudi kot strokovnjak poudaril, da so Slovenci pevski narod. Med evropskimi narodi so petju najbolj naklonjeni Slovenci in Irci. Od 15. maja do 17. junija bo potekalo več kot tisoč dogodkov po Sloveniji in v zamejstvu. Javni sklad za kulturne dejavnosti pričakuje okoli 100.000 udeležencev.

Kolikšen je, kakšno je zanimanje za dogodke in prireditve, ali so se mogoče začele tkati gospodarske, poslovne in drugačne vezi na račun kulture in turizma ter kje so še neizkoriščene priložnosti prve čezmejne kulturne prestolnice Evrope, bomo ugotavljali v tokratnem Studiu ob 17-ih. Na strokovnem seminarju v Ljubljani so se ta teden zbrali slovenski učitelji, ki poučujejo slovenščino in slovensko kulturo v slovenskih skupnostih v 21tih evropskih državah. O dogajanju na seminarju in tudi o slovenskem dopolnilnem pouku v nekaterih državah, kjer živijo slovenski rojaki, nekaj več izveste v oddaji. Bili smo na predstavitvi knjige s področja slovenskega izseljenstva o dolenjskem rojaku Francetu Bambiču, ki odstira njegovo življenje v začetku 20.stoletja, ko se je večkrat odpravil na delo v Ameriko. Odpeljemo vas k slovenskim rojakom v belgijski Maasmechelen, kjer slovensko pevsko društvo Slomšek med velikonočnimi prazniki pripravlja tradicionalni koncert, gostimo pa tudi slovensko rojakinjo Rozino Lovrenčič iz Nemčije, ki praznike tokrat preživlja v domovini.

Na današnji kulturni praznik, Prešernov dan, bodo po državi številne prireditve, kulturne ustanove brezplačno odprle svoja vrata. Na predvečer praznika je bila v ljubljanskem Cankarjevem domu državna proslava, na kateri so podelili najvišja državna priznanja za dosežke na področju umetnosti. Letošnji praznik bo sicer zaznamovalo tudi odprtje Evropske prestolnice kulture v Novi Gorici in Gorici. The date is Aug 17th and Hip Hop took over The Torch at the LA Colisuem, so you know Tables4Two had to pull up to the Party! We set up shop in the Kulture MaRket with our podcast and introduced ourseleves to whole bunch of hip hop heads. We had the Decks set up laying down some Cuts all day, and you know we had the the Spin Wheel Popping with giveaways! Come along as we talk with APX 1 and Tank Dubz about how Drum and Bass has been a part of the LA Underground Scene since day one. Also lil Dee stopped by on his first trip to Los Angeles. BeOND came by the booth and let us know a little background on what it takes to get an insane amount of Project Blowd members condenced into a tiny stage show. Our long time friend DJ Luman hangs out with us as we get into many of the things that were cracking during the day. In the end its all about the Music Atmospher, Dilated, Visionaries, LA Symphony, Freestlye Fellowship, and Everyne else murdered the stage!
