Hi friends! Do you struggle with 'limiting beliefs' or a harsh narrative in your head? Haha, I know, I know, who doesn't? But for soooo long in my life, I believed and took to heart every little and big thing I thought. And frankly, my inner critic was so fierce and hurtful towards me that I'd like to call her a bad word, but I won't. For the last several years, I've been working on having a better relationship with my thought life, and I will talk more about this in future episodes. But I hope these three quick tips help you if you also struggle. I've been listening to and working with an old coach of mine, and she suggested 1 question to ask ourselves when we are wrestling with those thoughts that are beating us up or holding us back, and it truly has helped me start to overcome my limiting beliefs and negative self-talk. Lion Goodman was shot in the head four times, and survived to tell. He shares how acceptance, forgiveness, and love literally saved his life. We all experience some form of trauma in our lives, and these create our limiting beliefs. Regardless of where those traumas come from, all can be cleared. In this episode, Lion Goodman, founder of Clear Beliefs Institute, teaches how to delete the limiting beliefs that hold you back and create your life on purpose. He walks us through this beautiful process of clearing out the deep subconscious using the subconscious mind, the conscious mind, and the superconscious mind all at once. We either resort to comfort food, drugs, or alcohol. We can talk endlessly about it to someone else. We can ignore it, suppress it, push it away, or pretend it doesn't exist. These are all ways of “not experiencing” our experience. If you shove enough anger down, you could get cancer or heart disease, or you can gain weight and not be able to lose it. [27:19] Deleting Your Limiting Beliefs Our beliefs are created from our experiences, and those beliefs then start creating our reality. They act like a filter in front of our eyes. So if you think you'll always be poor and you're looking through that belief, then what you see is evidence for why you're always going to be poor. Today I had the pleasure of speaking to Lion Goodman. He is a transformational coach, author, healer and teacher. At the age of 26, Lion was shot in the head four times. This near-death experience kick-started his five decades of research into the nature of consciousness, developmental psychology, spirituality and healing. He created the Clear Beliefs Method of trauma-informed therapeutic coaching, which he has taught to more than 500 coaches, healers and therapists around the world. His training is accredited by both the International Coaching Federation and Association for Coaching. That soon changed when they found a 20-unit rental portfolio. From there they networked and problem-solved their way to buying this portfolio. Currently, they are working towards stabilization and then the disposition of assets. Their eyes were open to how to scale to larger assets, and from there they have set their eyes on raising capital and apartment syndication.Beginning early 2020, Oscar has now co-founded two companies with German, REI Brothers, and GoodDay Capital. The first company started was the social media outreach and education platform, where showcased are their podcast, blog, and projects. The second company developed was their Real Estate Investing Firm to syndicate apartment buildings.
